In March 2019 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer that they said was spreading to my bones. In Feb this year a scan revealed lesions on my spine and some of my organs. They gave me a couple of months if I didn't take hormone reduction therapy and a couple of years if I did. There was a fair bit of back pain so I agreed to hormone reduction therapy but refused chemo.
The urologists and oncologists really tried to bully me into chemo and even got visible angry when I refused. My attitude is quality over quantity, I just don't see the benefits of taking 6 months chemo to prolong my life by an extra 12 months if it meant developing neuropathy and damaging my organs and immune system. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
My approach was healthy diet combined with supplements, exercise and meditation, and so far it's working well. Doctor Berg, you have been one of my go to people in relation to diet and supplements, thank you.
As of now I've been off pain killers and mostly pain free for over six months and improving every day. I'm getting blood work regularly which is showing great improvement (including PSA down from over 200 to now 4.5). I've reluctantly agreed to another scan next week, and it will be interesting to see what it shows.
Like most of us, I've known several people who've died from cancer, and without exception before they died they all expressed the thought that it was probably the chemo that was killing them.
Edit; because this answer seems to be getting some attention, I'd like to elaborate on a few points.
All my life I've been a positive person who believes in the power of the mind (combine with proactivity on my part), now I'm putting that to the ultimate test. If it works then great, but if not then maybe I will pay the ultimate price. While I love life and have much more that I want to do, if this doesn't work then I'm prepared for what will come. If you are not, then maybe this course of action is not for you.
Over the last 18 months I've done probably in excess of 1,000 hrs of research into alternative treatments, foods, supplements and other things to assist me in rebuilding my body, and I've tried so many different diet and supplement related things, some of which didn't do so well but overall the response seems to be positive. One thing that is super important (in my opinion) is "belief". If you don't believe you can do it, the chances are that you probably can't. Knowing this, I've brainwashed myself into believing I can and will succeed.
I'm no expert and in no position to give anyone advice, all I can do is tell what has worked for me so far.
Just for the record, this week I went back to work yeeehaaa.

Chemotherapy is very profitable to doctors and facilities. There is no profit in nutrition and lifestyle advice. That's why physicians are trained in dealing drugs not giving life saving free advice

God Bless you. Quality of life is crucial. Regardless of how long they give someone, chemo but say the life expectancy outcome is six months longer ( maybe) but you are going to spend that six months sick, in bed, unable to enjoy any modicum of life. My father in law did chemo for his terminal pancreatic cancer. At the end of his life he told us had he to do it over again, he would not have done chemo.
Everyone’s choice is so personal. It’s not for us to judge what someone should do for themselves.

@@TheVinegarden Totally agree. I have never posted anything online about this previously because I would be absolutely devastated if someone followed my path and it didn't work out for them. But I've thought about this long and hard, and come to the conclusion that I should at least mention what I'm doing because so many people feel they have no choice when the medical profession puts pressure on them to go a certain way.
The doctors believe I'm gambling with my life (maybe I am) but I don't see it that way. In my opinion, worst case scenario is I'm trading a small amount of quantity for quality of life. But, in my mind I honestly believe I'm going to make it. I said to my gp "how many people have recovered from bone cancer?" his reply was maybe one or two, to which I replied I'm going to be No. 3.

I had chemo and radiation over twenty years ago for a rare type of lymphoma. I was 39 years old single parents with four kids. I was going through a very difficult separation and I think that was the trigger for my cancer. I know they can’t prove that stress causes cancer, but I think it does. I went through eight months of chemo and four of radiation. However the side effects are terrible. The doctors never told me that years later I would be suffering from some side effects. It wasn’t until a few years ago, I went to see a cardiologist (because chemo could affect your heart in your older age) and he asked me if I was having problems with my fingers or hands. I said no, because I guess I never thought about, but I had been losing sensitivity in my fingertips. I started paying close attention to my body more, and I think all of the problems I have is due to chemo. Thank God I got well and I’m still alive today, but I think in part was also because right after I finished chemo, I completely changed my eating habits.

My Grandmother passed of stage 4 cancer. Was on Chemotherapy and other drugs to try to numb the pain. Before the diagnosis, I’m sure diet was not even a thought on her mind. It pained me to see her on her OWN bed, once a place to catch her sleep and dream, turn into the place where she would die. It pained me to see her not eat a thing, because of how the “Chemo” made her feel. How she shrunk away to a shell of her old self. All she could do was drink “juice.” Apple juice to be exactly. Take care of your bodies people. I would rather go, KNOWING I tried to do all possible to remedy my situation with natural methods, than just “Accept” fate and fall into traditional medicines hands. What you eat is MEDICINE or Poison. In fact, ALL things you do in your life, is either Medicine or Poison. Live with Care, not without.

My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer that spread around the colon. She had surgery to remove the affected areas, she was completely fine mentally and was healing physically. Once they put her on a round of chemo-way too soon after surgery-she went downhill FAST and passed away within a matter of weeks. If they did not give her chemo, my mom would have been able to have a bit more time to live/do whatever she wanted on her own terms.
My mom did not die from ovarian cancer, she died from chemo.

@Mike H Don't be preposterous. You're acting like she could have walked away from Stage 4 consuming ovarian AND colon. You should revisit the planet earth. This was a dying person, which I tried to address gently. From reading the statement and order of events, the chemo was just a formality - an expensive formality - to buy a little more time, and painful time at best anyway. When you reach the point the poison is the best option, it's late in the game. The son will do better to accept that than seek blame in her care, when she very very likely was simply hopelessly stricken with a horrible disease. You might too.

Well... I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma and when diagnosed with stage 2 I said no way I do chemo and went on a keto for 5 months, super healthy, strict, vegies, pasture meat, eggs, no pasta, vitamins, turmeric, herbs, apple cider vinegar, etc... and 5 months later I did another scan and the tumor in my mediastine and neck grew... so I decided to go into chemo. My doctor said that this one is 99 % curable, one of the most curable cancers. So I did... kept eating healthy but had to introduce some carbs at that time because I had stomach issues. Ate more soups and less uncooked foods...could not tolerate acids of oranges, lemons, and vinegar... After my ABVD protocol with no radiation, I was fine again. The Neulasta shots had brutal aftereffects. The pain in my bones was unbearable... They lasted 3 days after the shots... with time, I only took 1/4 of that opioid pills.. and by the end of treatment, I only used Tylenol. The recoup (continuing with a healthy diet fewer carbs) went well but took 1 year to get back to normal at exercising. Today is 10 years later, doing fine...

My father was terminally diagnosed. 6 to 8 months terminal. He told me that he performed this analysis using all advice and outlooks:
PLUS of chemo and/or radiation: extension of life for up to several months. MINUS: A. It's a wretched extension at that, as every cell in the body painfully crushed itself. B. The non-insured portion of costs - which are always more severe than people admit - would come from others, either immediately or in reduced inheritance. I.e., loved ones would pay for much of it. C. A caretaker's role is gruesome. EVERY caretaker will confirm this. Vomit. Wiping. Losing their normal job. D. Extended caretaker roles: transportation, visitation, etc. Everyone suffers, just so the terminal patient can be miserable and inflict his/her angry misery on others. When your body is being eaten alive, and you are given poisonous intake or radiation, you are in a hideously FOUL mood. Ask those who've experienced it. So....
He ordered pain management but no extension of life treatment except dietary adjustment.
And ironically instead of 8 months, he lived 24.
None of this is embellished. This happened.

Once again, excellent information. Every family member who passed due to cancer did not live more than a couple years once beginning chemo. More importantly, their quality of life was devestated once treatment began. The side effects were horrible. My father told me if he knew beforehand what he’d experience once receiving chemo, he would not have agreed to the treatment. Others said the same. It’s something I’ve often contemplated.

I workout every 2 days and my homemade electrolyte been a big help. when we sweat or pee there goes our minerals, so we need to restore them regularly!!
homemade electrolyte (no sugar) 1 teaspoon of seasalt 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar mixed in a glass of water daily or every 2 days
sodium alone is no good caused hypertension, but not when mixed with potassium (cream of tartar), also take organic magnesium supplement with this trio combo will at least get you and your wife daily needed balance.
raw foods raw juices as liquid meals, raw gives much less stress to liver & kidney, also are much better form to absorb nutrients than cooked, way better cleaner bowel too, which also means not much toxic byproducts which normally caused by cooked diets!!

Their goal was to monopolize the medical industry by funding only those medical schools that will promote and use drugs as treatments. This is why allopathic medicine doctors are not trained in nutrition. Wholistic medicine got kicked off the bus and is considered quackery as a result, which really is the answer to chronic diseases using safe natural methods. Cancer cells are anaerobic as opposed to regular cells that are aerobic. Thus, instead of consuming oxygen like regular cells, cancer cells consume a large amount of sugar to survive. This is apparent because when PET scans are done, a cancer lights up in the image as the cancer feeds on the radioactive sugar. If you cut out a lot of fructose, fruits, etc. you can help yourself at least but be aware, even if you cut out all sugar from your diet, your own body produces a small amount of sugar on its own and needs some to survive. Even cancer cells can live off of ketones. The main things you can really do would be fasting, reducing reactive oxygen species with certain supplements like garlic, astaxanthin, EGCG etc., exercising and avoiding allopathic medicine. Allopathic medicine has you do CT scans, PET scans and mammograms as "preventative measures", which ironically only cause cancer. The ionizing radiation from these specific imaging machines induces cancer by disrupting the molecules and electrons in your cells. The radiation is strong enough to cause double-strand damage and thus a gene mutation which eventually leads to cancer 6-7 years after exposure. Allopathic medicine also has you do biopsies, these help cancers grow because it punctures the extracellular matrix that a cancer is encaged in and helps it grow. Chemo and radiation don't distinguish between healthy and cancer cells, they kill all cells, which leads to rebound cancer later on, so avoid this also, but most people don't listen and "trust/believe the science" instead of following the evidence

Truly admire what you do Dr. Berg, but I think it depends on what cancer. I followed a strict keto diet and worked out everyday before I got diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma stage 4. I still eat healthy and workout whenever I can while I’m on chemotherapy. My chemotherapy regimen is AAVD which has a 94% cure rate. I asked my doctors before chemo if alternative therapy would work and their answer was simply “I don’t know.” What my doctor did know from his experience was that if I didn’t start chemo, I’d be dead within 5 years and it would be a horrible decision to deny a 94% cure rate regimen.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve learned so much from you and follow many of your health tips, but I’m halfway done with treatments and my midway scan has showed tremendous progress and my doctor says I’m on my way to a cure. I think it just really depends on the situation. If I had another type of cancer and it was terminal, I’d probably not do chemo and fast for 30 days. Appreciate you always!

In Oct 2014, I was given the chemotherapy drug called Cladribine for my diagnosis of Hairy Cell Leukemia. Within 3 months, my blood counts were completely back to normal. I did extensive research and found out that chemotherapy is really only effective on a few types of cancers - Hairy Cell Leukemia being one of them, with Cladribine being 80 to 90 percent effective. I do CBC blood draws every 9 months - everything is good, going on 6 years now. One of the Directors at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences told me that of all the cancers to get, I got the most curable. It changed my outlook on life, that's for sure!

Did you have any side effects from the Cladribine? What did you eat or do during treatments to help you through it? Can you tell me what the shot is they give after the Cladribine to boost the bone marrow to start growing again? Did you have that? Thank you. Our doctor doesn't like to tell us much.

@@tessmoore3762 - Hey Tess, Sounds like a good plan for your husband. Cladribine is like 85 to 90 percent effective and I had no side effects, that's right, none! I had a fanny pack waist pump with a central IV line into my heart that slowly pumped Cladribine into my heart to be immediately pumped around my body. I had to wear the pump for 7 days then they removed it. So it's only a one week treatment. That bone marrow shot sounds like a good idea, however, I was not given a followup shot for bone marrow production. The Director of the Cancer Institute told me that of all the cancers to get, Hair Cell Leukemia is probably the easiest to beat! I believe everything should work out well for your husband! If your not familiar with what Chemo does or haven't known anyone that's went on it I suggest researching Rush Limbaugh's timeline of Diagnosis to Chemo to Death & listening to his radio shows & you can really see/hear the decline. It doesn't matter if you like him or not, its just a crazy situation where a popular personality that you can hear 5 days a week is diagnosed with cancer that had no illness symptoms that decided to try Chemo & died a slow death. Rush was pretty healthy for his age & the cancer wasn't an immediate threat but I guarantee his doctors talked him into it. Chemo is poison. Its as simple as that.

Thank you for shedding light on this. I know far more people killed by chemo than saved. That doesn’t even take into account what it did to the people who survived. Their immune system is shot and “chemo brain” is horrible. The reduction in quality of life is significant.
My dad was “diagnosed” with Hodgkin’s lymphoma B by a doctor being paid by the pharmyseudical company that creates the chemotherapy ABOVE WHAT HE WAS PAID BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY UP FRONT.
He never had a biopsy that was positive for cancer, but the doctor told him his bones were covered in it in his X-rays and that his bones were “mossy” looking. He had osteoporosis. You can’t properly diagnose cancer only by X-ray, but he got away with it.
That doctor and corrupt hospital in north Phoenix got paid for the chemo treatment up front, the pharmaceutical company got to claim they cured him when he finally got a biopsy-it showed he didn’t have cancer (even though nothing changed on his X-rays). He had 2 treatments before refusing more. Could anyone seriously believe he went from “being covered in cancer throughout his bones” to being cancer free in 2 treatments within a month???
He went from healthy to brain dead in 20 days to completely dead 7 months later from the effects of the chemo- heart failure because that is one nasty chemo treatment. Cause of death on his death certificate-heart failure “age related”. It was murder, by a mercenary masquerading as an oncologist.
Upshot of all of it is they killed a relatively healthy man and got to claim they cured him of cancer with no long term side effects. Heart failure on their records was unrelated.

Outcome with his rats. They lived after treatment, and did not suffer any of the chemo effects, where as other rat group has death of every rat. There's been humans who've tried this pre chemo method and like the first rat group, did great. Study is available online.

Great point! I"ve read this before, by several different researchers and practitioners, but most people don't know this. It applies to all sorts of "remedies" that we're lead to believe are so miraculous when, in fact, it's simply marketing.

GCmaf saves people even with stage 4 cancer.
I have heard baking soda in molasses also works.
I had a skin cancer fall off within 2 weeks just by ignoring it (ie no fear of it).

My mother has been diagnosed in dec 2016 with pleural cancer, the first two years she took chemo and I saw her body getting weaker and weaker, the tumor itself just stayed de same, never better, then we talked about immunotherapy and the doctor said she was going to suggest it to the medical council and fortunately they agreed, I can’t tell you how much of a difference that made, after 2 to 3 treatments we SAW with our own eyes her returning to her old self, better looking and the disease did shrunk!!! She’s taking it every two weeks and I’m starting to believe that she’s not going to die from the disease. Just a note... the doctor has no idea why the treatment is working so well on her... so for me it would be better to give this option FIRST instead killing people with chemo.

chemo = $ + depopulation thats why many "therapies" are immune to lawsuit compensation etc.. cos they are aligned with the depop agenda.
i witnessed many "medical misadventure" many victims got disabled after their "adventure" "therapy" and no compensation no compassion!!
in the name of health, allopathy killed and harmed more people than cured. when all these allopathy patients who recovered believe the therapies help them, never credited to self-heal ability and nutrients etc........ the power of brainwashing!!

Standard of care against Cancer isn't science but a gamble. Doctors HOPE patients will RESPOND well to it...
For it to be science, it has to be able to repeat the scenario over again. If the mortality rate is so high, why are they still using it instead of throwing all of it out?

By Law alternative doctors have to say consultant your MD & I'm not offering medical advice. Dr. Lorraine Day is a Diplomat on the board of Orthopedic Medicine in Virginia. In the 80's she got breast cancer and very openly discussed how Every MD knows Chemotherapy causes cancer. Dr. Day went to the Creative Life Institute in Union City MI and learned how to heal herself.

Dr Berg,I'm currently living in a small town Helensville New Zealand supporting 1 supermarket who has my daily shopping receipts. To move into a much larger small town will give me the confidence to scramble the freely given shopping receipts across a number of players. I have my personal daily records of what I eat everyday written down and recorded in grams and the times I sampled my results in spreadsheet. For me to continue my system I'd like to spend just two weeks with you together living in the apartment I own and the chance to just spend two weeks with you as equals. Depending on Igor's reply to my last question I will forward my historical spreadsheet measurements to you.

Sad truth is that 99% of doctors are not open to alternative therapies. Spirit of any student of science is curiosity to know, evaluate & continuously learn. Sadly this spirit is largely lacking in students & practitioners of medicine today

Chemotherapy with surgery for localized/resectable esophageal cancer in Stage 1 can extend life span of subjects younger than 20 years old well over 5 years but for esophageal cancer Stage 3 or 4 for a subject older than 30 years old ..the value is much lower ...maybe from 1 month to 12 months... Chemotherapy nor surgery nor radiation therapy can repair tissue damage caused by cancer. Chemotherapy normally works by stopping the metabolism that supports runaway tumor growth - but unless its localized or targeted chemotherapy ... surrounding healthy cells are affected by chemotherapy as well. as the tumors... targeted chemo bind only to a particular genetic sequence while localized chemo is applied in only a small local region in the body.
