2 years of updates for a phone costing 350-500 more is even a harder pass. Rather buy S25 Ultra or Iphone 16 pro max at that price point. Better camera, better network connectivity especially with US network bands. Both 6-7 years of software updates. Vivo, Oppo, and OnePlus has 5 years. External cooler can be bought for gaming like the aeroactive cooler.

You could've at least use the RedMagic Cooler 5Pro if you're using an external fan on the ROG9Pro though. Try comparing them with the Rog 9Pro just relying on its passive cooling and RM10Pro with its builtin fan and that's where we will see the difference in thermal performance and which one is better too.

For the updates in RedMagic as a former ROGphone user and now an RM user for a few years now: They're offering 2-3 years of OS and security updates. My old RM7(2022) is still being updated until now. While my RM8Pro(2023) has just received the second latest RedMagic OS.v9.5. might get the last RMOS10 update soon too. Pros of Redmagic that ROG phones doesn't have: - Console mode + low latency wireless cast and desktop mode. - Auto mapping when on game console mode (via C to hdmi) - Builtin fan does wonders when traveling - Very tanky battery believe me lasts me 1-2 days as my daily driver. - No punch holes too.
The 24gb Variant goes over 3 mill for Redmagic, and its gpu is clocked about 250mhz higher (1.1ghz vs 1.25ghz) and has better cooling and stability....

The truth is the only reason why the cpu did better is because the rog 9 pro is 1080p the red magic 10 pro is 1.5k which means there’s a slight performance drop for a flashy display the rog 9 pro is limited to 720hz and red magic 10 pro is 2,500hz meaning that the screen is more reactive, the battery is bigger with faster charging which means everything when you’re grinding top 5,000 for cod mobile the winner is red magic you didn’t even put a external cooler for red magic cause you know it would’ve buttfucked the rog phone it may have a brighter display but the rog 9 pro doesn’t come with enhanced color mode and honestly the rog 9 pro being stuck at 1080p is just boring people are honestly gonna have more fun with that 1.5k display the refresh rate for rog 9 pro 185 fps but for what cause cod mobile just got 144fps I highly doubt that they’re gonna use the 185fps for a mini game, winner should be red magic of course rog 9 pro is gonna have better cpu scores cause there’s literally a big ass cooler behind it and the red magic 10 pro fan isn’t a big fan with a cooling plate on it so I believe you should’ve used both external coolers for both devices and I would bet you that the red magic 10 pro would have higher scores than rog. I do willing to buy it for a High Price like ROG9Pro ... I see lots of hype over the red magic internal fan, but having owned self built desktop PCs since I was young. I know how much 1 broken/faulty fan can cause more trouble than it was ever worth. What happens when the fan innevitably dies? Would the passive cooling sustain the phones life? Especially if it happens unnoticed and you continue gaming. Half the price is great. But it's not expendable.
Join the community and you will know how many years long the red magic fan will last.no problem at all. If the fan goes dead when gaming, you definitely can know the temperature because your hands are holding the phone not your friend's hand😅. Plus red magic has a temperature overlay to display the data. You can use external fan cooling if you really care about temperature.

If you can afford it, the ASUS is the easy choice to make. However, if you're on a budget, then the Redmagic is a no-brainer. Just make sure it doesn't get wet, or else you'll be buying another one, and probably could've saved money going for the ASUS from jump. *Also...* Price is hardly an option anymore when you can pay in installments via Klarna, Affirm, etc. Basically like the way you would pay a monthly bill to a carrier after you upgrade through them.

My red magic 9s pro running 12gb ram but it can boost to extra ram plus 12 total of 24gb ram . All redmagic phone has this ram booster.

I see lots of hype over the red magic internal fan, but having owned self built desktop PCs since I was young. I know how much 1 broken/faulty fan can cause more trouble than it was ever worth. What happens when the fan innevitably dies? Would the passive cooling sustain the phones life? Especially if it happens unnoticed and you continue gaming. Half the price is great. But it's not expendable.
Join the community and you will know how many years long the red magic fan will last.no problem at all.
If the fan goes dead when gaming, you definitely can know the temperature because your hands are holding the phone not your friend's hand😅.
Plus red magic has a temperature overlay to display the data.
You can use external fan cooling if you really care about temperature.

Price wise no competition redmagic wins easily + all completly flat brick is great. But everything else is rog phone win.
If you can afford it, the ASUS is the easy choice to make.
However, if you're on a budget, then the Redmagic is a no-brainer. Just make sure it doesn't get wet, or else you'll be buying another one, and probably could've saved money going for the ASUS from jump.
*Also...* Price is hardly an option anymore when you can pay in installments via Klarna, Affirm, etc. Basically like the way you would pay a monthly bill to a carrier after you upgrade through them.

None of these phones are the best because no microSD card slot in it it's not worth buying at all. Im a tech enthuast and Loves both of them But the fact that RM10pro only has slightlt better display experience and more hrs energy and slightly faster 120w (like Bruh I have rralme GT5 240w 24/1tb) it doesnt matter to me 65w and 120w is just as almost the same slow time to full😂
and again RM10Pro is not worth the Price for its Absolutely low Quality Protection (even the Glass is just unknown normal glass wtf?)😂 also less Features and OS and even AI systems (PEOPLE make mistakes sometimes thats why no matter how you Protect XM10Pro there will be a time that it will slip out and will have DENTS, DUST, DROP DAMAGE, WATER or MOISTURE DAMAGE😂

My personal take is the Asus might have a very small edge over the red magic as as a whole package but the price gap is so large that all advantages it has are completely redundant as I can almost buy two red magic's for the price of one Asus phone :P
