@@jagdishgulyani5217I mean, to be fair to other artists, they aren't known worldwide and earning millions like Taylor. Alot hardly get paid at all. They have to make ends meet, and sometimes that means sacrificing your creativity for survival.
The first time I heard this was when she sang it on SNL and it gutted me. Just gutted. Even though I've been happily married for over 20 years. But the emotion and description was so strong that I was suddenly standing in the kitchen again while my ex-fianceé called off our engagement. Now, I'm glad he did, but, then, it was devastating. The memory has never been stronger than hearing this for the first time.
Seeing her perform this on SNL was my introduction to non-pop Taylor. Previously, I wasn’t a fan, wasn’t a hater…she was just another pop star to me. I watched it live and literally couldn’t believe what I was watching. I’ve never been as blown away by a live performance. A few years and her whole catalog later I’m transfixed by everything she does.
This version feels like post crying after breakup stage. The part where you're done crying so bad for nights. The part where you still feel that searing pain but your eyes can't produce tears anymore. You're tired but your heart never stops from swearing your ex's name. And in this part you're asking why you're still into him when you've already realized all the pain he caused you.
This is the second time I've posted a similar comment about Taylor Swift: No one can ever deny this woman's talent. I've not listened to any of her songs for like 10 years but just listening to this took me back to those few moments in my life and made me remember how painful it was in a way that I could never express with the level of clarity she has in her song. Imagine someone who's never met you can tell you how you felt in your younger self. That is talent to use music to connect us through our common humanity, which is the talent of a musician and an incredible artist. I am not your fan but you are an incredible artist, objectively and unequivocally.
How Very Honorable beautifully written . This girl is beyond her years in age!!! I Love Her Music and that fact that she writes and composes her own music is astonishing in it own right! Thanks for sharing your opinion !! KW can suc an egg !! Jk!!!
5 minute version: emotional/anguish, perfect for angry crying in the floor of your bathroom. 10 minute version: nostalgic with a hint of hurt & anger, perfect for blasting loudly while driving under the autumn trees. sad girl autumn version: crumpled-up-piece-of-paper depressed, perfect for crying on cold, rainy nights.
Watching this in August 2024, and I am still crying this song is incredible all versions. It’s my favorite Taylor put so much time in her days just to make in different versions of songs for us. She is incredible.❤❤❤
As if the 10 min version wasn't earth shattering enough, this is like Taylor said "ok, now lets do a version that's like me and the listeners are sitting on the floor, forehead to forehead and i'm singing it softly just to them."
Taylor is such a talented artist. You can tell she knows exactly how to annunciate, pull away, I appreciate her songwriting but her performing has also reached new heights. Bravo.
This is song give the feeling of closure. While the old one was angry, sad, frustrated, lonely, confused, messy. This one give you the feeling of closure, the story is over and you don't want it back anymore. Perfect. The ending with all the quotes from the beginning who repeat give exactly that feeling. Taylor you are art. I'm honoured to witness and enjoy this amazing work
It definitely doesn’t feel 10 minutes long, thats why it’s a masterpiece you get lost in the emotions it’s so beautiful. I’m so glad she gave us this version, this feels more like healing and nostalgia. Taylor always sings with so much emotion, her music will always mean so much to me and I will always be a fan of hers, not only talented but a kind, beautiful person. Thank you Taylor for giving us this, it means a lot
You can really HEAR all the shades and colors of her voice, like she's there whispering next to you. And you FEEL every shade and color of this super song!
This is so vulnerable and transparent, the original recording sounds like anger and frustration rooting from confusion and betrayal. The TV sounds like recalling a bitter memory but being able to move along. This sounds like the night after it happened, so miserable and sorrowful, almost empty, almost in denial of the loss of your lover. Taylor is amazing.

It's art, poetry, beyond a pop song. The lyrics are a lesson in how to write well. its also non linear at times, displaying another innovation. Just brilliant. Inspired. Contemporary. Relatable. Emotional. Clever. Smart
It’s the ultimate young love breakup song. The short version was one of my favorites when it was released, but the new long versions put that one to shame. She just knows how to make her music tug at our heartstrings.
This would have fitted perfectly on folklore. The theme of folklore was nostalgia and looking back at the past and after ten years have passed its definitely was she's doing with this song. The piano and guitar kinda sounds like champagne problems and it also has the same chords.
The Long pond studio session think she did was incredible I would pay to see that every time she comes out with an album it made every song feel so much more personal even more than they already did.
8:18 ~ absolutely beautiful the way she says “All Too Well” in this spot. It just hits different. Cuts you to your core. Extreme sorrow…yet so ethereal.
@@CLousse13 I just listened to it again after I read your comment. It brought tears to my eyes. You can feel the anguish. Yes, it is definitely more reminiscent of her earlier music and sound/vibe. She sounds a lot more “pop” these days. I like the crossover and marriage between both genres that she has mastered.
In the music industry, where the length of the song is getting shorter and shorter just for streaming, she was willing to release 10-minute music purely for her fans. She is a true artist. And this long song will evoke a big direction. Taylor Swift is the music industry
This song is perfect for when all the rage has passed, and the only thing left is sadly remembering the past. She's not belting as much here, it's all sung softly. Lightly. As if on the verge of tears. And she infuses every word with emotion, a wistful smile at "getting lost upstate", a longing at "anytime now he's gonna say it's love" etc. I think it's amazing that she switched the notes every here and there, to make it more sad than angry. I absolutely love this version ❤️
I think Taylor deserves everyone's respect. She has always been kind, went through so much and was bashed for writing songs about her own life. Nobody talks about how beautifully she turns her pain into art, I don't think that's easy. I love her, she's such a strong woman but most importantly, I respect her.
@@robinskull The only thing that’s trash here are your hate comments, instead of criticizing you should probably work to accomplish everything that she has
@@robinskull Yea that is why she is so famous and you are probably just a hater who has such an absurd profile picture If you don’t like her music don’t listen stop spreading hate for no damn reason
This version sounds like sitting on the floor exhausted when you don't have any tears left, just a sad ache all through your body. You can't bear to look at any more photos but you can't bring yourself to close the album either.
I don't think they will ever stop working together to be honest. Kinda like what happened with Jack. When Taylor loves working with someone, she never gets tired of working with them!
I'm listening to a lot of Taylor Swift for the very first time tonight. She's quite the talent and this song is amazing. The line "Casually Cruel" paints the person she's singing about in a more clear light and I can understand the hurt she felt or is feeling. Been there, long time ago. Takes awhile, but the river of time washes away many a pain.
She’s literally giving us everything we could ever ask for 😭 this is beautiful, I didn’t think she could make it more sadder and beautiful, but damn she did.
This version sounds like if Red and Folklore/Evermore finally meet. It’s got the angst of Red and the simplicity/indie vibe of her era. Love this version.
Red version: refusing to get out of your room crying pure emotions, remembering everything Taylor’s version: finally going out with friends to vent out, free to say all the things you have left to say while also starting to feel closure This version: sitting on a park bench watching the leaves fall, feeling empty yet all my tears have dried
The “its supposed to be fun, turning 21” knocks the wind out of me each time. The grief for milestones passed, with nothing but a bitter taste to remember them by and the wasted potential of what could’ve been something wonderful
I felt it because I spent my 21st birthday heartbroken. I’m in a new happy relationship now but the pain of past heartbreaks never really goes away no matter how much you are over it
The way Taylor keeps making our day by dropping singles, but it's basically just me crying into my pillow after listening to most of them. Anyways happy sad girl Autumn era, y'all
I am old at 63, but this song took me back to 18. Standing in the rain on a corner next to the stop sign, where he dropped me off. After using and taking ALL of my confidence. He just callously shoved me out the door. Standing there soggy and defeated ITossed the ring he made me in his art class in a ditch. Years later he says how he remembers that day and regrets it. We both "remember it all too well". Taylor is not just a songwriter and singer, she is a mage. Her music transports us back to similar situations vividly with the swirl of her wand. She deserves all that she gets and then some.
Her vocals on this are delicate and gorgeous. Definitely the most beautiful rendition of the song. Working with Aaron Dessner may have been the single best decision of her entire career.
Now there's an All Too Well: 10 Minute Version for every mood we may have: sad (original), introspective (SNL performance), and super-duper sad (sad girl autumn version).
I agree with everything everyone wrote. I just write here because I am in awe. I've been listening to the 10-minute version on repeat for months now, and now this version just hits me like it's a completely new song and every line still carries so much meaning.
she literally drove there, recorded it, and then released it. that’s amazing. the way she listens to her fans and even surprises them is unheard of in this industry!
She does it for us tbh. There’s no other reason given that she barely benefits from doing it ❤️ also hi! I sang “All Too Well”, mind taking a listen to it?
Like other hundreds of thousands of people, I absolutely love this very version. Minimalistic, stripped down to what's absolutely essential, it touches me each time. The piano supports her voice gently as if knowing that she in her fragility can barely go through the sad story yet again. This is a masterpiece. 💔
The way she has 113% control over her voice is just so magical, you can hear how she plays with it, making background vocals, doing lower parts and all of this with the most perfect delicacy. She will never stop surprising me👏🏻🥺
@@marina.chayka Definitely agree, evermore is the perfect album to experiment with and with the perfect control she has over her voice it would be absolutely beautiful 🫂
@@holdmeslowly If you listen to the Lyric Video 10 minute and then watch/sing the Karaoke you can see what her voice does to the delivery of the songs. She holds the tune all the way through the song. Perfection.
@@ZacharyTay There is a possible problem there though, and that is over saturation insofar as the general public is concerned. Never be enough Taylor for Swities, but may not want to look too greedy in the general public eye. Maybe Evermore Long Pond Sessions as a Birthday drop from her ??
same. I always told everyone how proud I was of him, of being his girl.. and then I was only a secret for him, when he hid that other girl he cheated with from me :")
The little silence after "its supposed to be fun turning 21" adds so much. It leaves us listeners with some time to process how painful the words she just said and that moment is just so emotional. Brilliant ;)

Hmm right I love Taylor Swift I covered love story on my piano hope yall will watch and subs me
It’s the ultimate young love breakup song. The short version was one of my favorites when it was released, but the new long versions put that one to shame.
She just knows how to make her music tug at our heartstrings.
Everyone: "Daz enough, Taylor.. we're literally out of tears"
Taylor: "I'm gonna put some dirt in your eye"
Gonna cry
taylor x tobey
Peter Parker?
I love that everywhere I go, I find Bully Maguire memes/jokes
There goes the maddest woman this town has ever seen, she had a marvelous time releasing 20 version of All Too Well
And we had a marvelous time listening and watching 🤣🤣💔❤️
Bahahahhahaahah
She had a marvelous time taking back everything
@@ebtrollfan ooooh this one is genius and im so happy for her 🥺
This would have fitted perfectly on folklore. The theme of folklore was nostalgia and looking back at the past and after ten years have passed its definitely was she's doing with this song. The piano and guitar kinda sounds like champagne problems and it also has the same chords.
I totally agree! And I think “keychain on the ground” sounds soooo much like “meet me behind the mall” in august 🥲
@@roosterbear1018 IVE BEEN SAYING THIS EVER SINCE IT CAME OUT
The Long pond studio session think she did was incredible I would pay to see that every time she comes out with an album it made every song feel so much more personal even more than they already did.
@@roosterbear1018 I THOUGHT IM THE ONLY ONE THAT KEEP THINKING ABOUT THIS
@@roosterbear1018 omgg, yess!! I literally thought of that and was like wow ✨folklore vibess✨ 😭😭 yay
8:18 ~ absolutely beautiful the way she says “All Too Well” in this spot. It just hits different. Cuts you to your core. Extreme sorrow…yet so ethereal.
Right?! It’s very country. I love it so much.
@@CLousse13 I just listened to it again after I read your comment. It brought tears to my eyes. You can feel the anguish. Yes, it is definitely more reminiscent of her earlier music and sound/vibe. She sounds a lot more “pop” these days. I like the crossover and marriage between both genres that she has mastered.
someone: How many perfect versions of All Too Well do you want to have?"
Taylor: Yes
100% Accurate
In the music industry, where the length of the song is getting shorter and shorter just for streaming, she was willing to release 10-minute music purely for her fans. She is a true artist. And this long song will evoke a big direction. Taylor Swift is the music industry
After releasing Lover which is basically a 2,5 min songs album. I haaaated her for that 😂
@@damiendubois3899 😐
ill be streaming her songs 24/7
This song is perfect for when all the rage has passed, and the only thing left is sadly remembering the past. She's not belting as much here, it's all sung softly. Lightly. As if on the verge of tears. And she infuses every word with emotion, a wistful smile at "getting lost upstate", a longing at "anytime now he's gonna say it's love" etc. I think it's amazing that she switched the notes every here and there, to make it more sad than angry. I absolutely love this version ❤️
Hmmm
She is the most whimsical, gracefully beautiful, angel sent to this earth and brings us joy and sprinkle us with the confetti of beautiful ballads.
I think Taylor deserves everyone's respect. She has always been kind, went through so much and was bashed for writing songs about her own life. Nobody talks about how beautifully she turns her pain into art, I don't think that's easy. I love her, she's such a strong woman but most importantly, I respect her.
Taylor Swift is tra$h, my music is better
@@robinskull The only thing that’s trash here are your hate comments, instead of criticizing you should probably work to accomplish everything that she has
@@robinskull can’t even take your music seriously with that logo. Get with it homie, needs an update.
@@robinskull Yea that is why she is so famous and you are probably just a hater who has such an absurd profile picture
If you don’t like her music don’t listen stop spreading hate for no damn reason
"how beautifully she turns her pain into art" i love the way you put it. itʼs so true
This version sounds like sitting on the floor exhausted when you don't have any tears left, just a sad ache all through your body. You can't bear to look at any more photos but you can't bring yourself to close the album either.
Hmmm
Hmmm
I love that she's still working with Aaron. They really love working with each other
@SillySanta ...boy? Go sleep
Go listen to Better Man. Her version and the version Little Big Town sang (she wrote it and gave it to them)
She’s literally giving us everything we could ever ask for 😭 this is beautiful, I didn’t think she could make it more sadder and beautiful, but damn she did.
Hmmm
This version sounds like if Red and Folklore/Evermore finally meet. It’s got the angst of Red and the simplicity/indie vibe of her era. Love this version.
Hmmm
didn't know this could get even sadder. Taylor is a genius
Hmmm
people who don't understand how sad All Too Well actually is should listen to this version, I can't stop crying😢
I still can’t believe all of this is real. We really begged for 9 years for the 10 minute version and she has went above and beyond 😭
Hmmm
She can sing a 60-minute song and I would never complain about it. Never!
Hmmm
I was never a big fan of her, but holy shit. This doesn't feel like 10 minutes song at all, what a wonderful voice she has. She was made for this.
More like this was made for her 😅 she's amazing! Tbh her greatest songs are rarely singles so people don't realize how great she actually is.
I agree
exactly this. anyways hello! I sang “All Too Well” from the pov of Taylor’s ex...mind giving it a listen?
If you like this, I recommend Safe and Sound, Tolerate It, and Happiness.
I love your name, it reminds me of my cousin queti mporta
"Call me up again, just to break me like a promise...so casually cruel in the name of being honest..." 😭😭
Brilliant. You kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath ... also breaks me a little
Freaking brilliant.
Red version: refusing to get out of your room crying pure emotions, remembering everything
Taylor’s version: finally going out with friends to vent out, free to say all the things you have left to say while also starting to feel closure
This version: sitting on a park bench watching the leaves fall, feeling empty yet all my tears have dried
Swifties: “So how many versions of All Too Well do you want release?"
Taylor Swift: “Yes”
Yes!! This is gonna be just like when she released the 20 versions of Willow
welp I know I ain’t complaining 👀 anyways hey! I sang “All Too Well”, mind taking a listen?
@@ZacharyTay wow this is a really smooth advertisement...I ain't even mad
@@kaispilled yeah its not like any other people where "her music is trash, i made a cover its way better"
Oh please All Too Well 10mins version elvira remix
The “its supposed to be fun, turning 21” knocks the wind out of me each time. The grief for milestones passed, with nothing but a bitter taste to remember them by and the wasted potential of what could’ve been something wonderful
Yes, this part also chokes me up each time for this reason.
And “you never called it what it was”
well put!
My boyfriend of three years broke up with me 2 months before my 21st (shortly before she rereleased this song) and let me tell you… I SOBBED
I felt it because I spent my 21st birthday heartbroken. I’m in a new happy relationship now but the pain of past heartbreaks never really goes away no matter how much you are over it
My All Time Favorite version. The length, new lines, her voice, the intimacy. Beautiful piece of story-telling. 🌟
nobaody cares
Taylor with a guitar, Taylor with a piano, Taylor with stripped down or acoustic songs just sounds so magical
really showcases her artistry and vocals - I love it too 💕 also hey! I sang “All Too Well”, mind taking a listen?

00:10 and crying
The way Taylor keeps making our day by dropping singles, but it's basically just me crying into my pillow after listening to most of them. Anyways happy sad girl Autumn era, y'all
@SillySanta so if she is the worst why are you here? literally 2 min
@SillySanta Ended who?
Oh what a heartbreaking story :(
Just remember all the swifties are there to support you including me!
Sending you my best wishes 🥺🤗
Hello Theresa, how are you doing?
He regrets it? So you two are back together again?

She is nd will be an icon for me my entire life...
artist of the decade for a reason ✨
Her vocals on this are delicate and gorgeous. Definitely the most beautiful rendition of the song. Working with Aaron Dessner may have been the single best decision of her entire career.
TAYLOR SWIFT LITERALLY GIVES MORE THAN WHAT WE EXPECTED EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME.
FOR REAL!
@SillySanta yet here you are lurking in her comment section
Now there's an All Too Well: 10 Minute Version for every mood we may have: sad (original), introspective (SNL performance), and super-duper sad (sad girl autumn version).
I call that last one my make a guy in his 40s cry version. That song on the piano and stripped down is musical magic.
snl is more a rage one
This version would fit well on the iconic and masterpiece “folklore” album.
I think it would fit better on evermore
@@shaunacardwell it does sound like the song evermore itself
I agree with everything everyone wrote. I just write here because I am in awe. I've been listening to the 10-minute version on repeat for months now, and now this version just hits me like it's a completely new song and every line still carries so much meaning.
her vocal maturity is much more apparent in this one & she’s really coming for blood with all these atw releases this time 🥺😭
ugh I LOVE her low notes as time goes by. Also hey :) I sang "All Too Well", mind checking it out?
Yeah her voice is so soothing
She really wasn't joking when she named it “Sad girl autumn”
Hmmm
she literally drove there, recorded it, and then released it. that’s amazing. the way she listens to her fans and even surprises them is unheard of in this industry!
I agree she is an angel🔥
She will never stop surprising me👏🏻🥺
I've never seen her sing like this before. Imagine if she ever makes a Evermore Studio session.
Perfection.
I feel like the evermore live version has been teased several times 👀 anyway hi! I sang “All Too Well”, check it out?
@@ZacharyTay There is a possible problem there though, and that is over saturation insofar as the general public is concerned. Never be enough Taylor for Swities, but may not want to look too greedy in the general public eye. Maybe Evermore Long Pond Sessions as a Birthday drop from her ??

“so, how much tears do you want swifties to cry? ”

The little silence after "its supposed to be fun turning 21" adds so much. It leaves us listeners with some time to process how painful the words she just said and that moment is just so emotional. Brilliant ;)
