tbh if it was longer it could be even better but hanamichi destroying his back for basketball was super important for his character and I love the way it ended
you know what i also love about reading comics/manga/manhwa/etc.?? the artistic evolution. it's so *evident* and it lowkey makes me tear up looking back to how they used to draw the character vs now.
@@elputamadre7771 I think Inoe understood how much he had to do to continue the series Haikyuu continues Where Slam dunk left and it shows what you have to do . I have read haikyuu and its 200 chapters more than Slam Dunk because it continues after the point slam dunk left off The story not just had to Be Around the main cast they also would have Need to hype up other teams + Resolve the established plot threads I Guess it required around 130 more chapters or something to land if he were to continue it
@@billymaguire5769 yeah but Inoue himself said that he didn't want to continue with the story and lose passion. He saw that happen before him with Fist of The North Star and Dragon Ball and decided to end the story on his own terms. Plus every major character arc was fulfilled. I would've enjoyed it if it continued but the ending is not only very hard hitting but also very realistic.

Yeah i agree i like the ending but i wish there was more... At least one more chapter.
@@ashitanozak yeah but if there was more i think i would want even more.
It makes more sense cause he is aggressive and hustle player

Yeah man. Some Mangas show it very evidently. Mashle is a recent one I noticed.
I really wish this amazing manga got a proper end
It has good ending but could be even better if it was longer

So basically it’s like vagabond but with basketball?
no its really different, its the ending was really unexpected, a lot of people think its bad but actually its perfect to me but its sad
@@ashitanozak True. The back injury was so sad, but it was just so in character for Hanamichi to do that I wouldn't have it any other way.
