The V12 is a boat anchor. And those rubber baby bumpers on 1970's cars in general and specifically at minute 4:12, is what ruins true aesthetics. They put those rubber baby bumpers on everything: Porsche, MG, Cheby, Triumph, Alfa's, Ferrari.....it's the mark of the Beast!
Yes indeed. Glad my MG is a 64, and one of the most egregious wastes (personal opinion) of good aesthetics with the rubber bumpers were the Mercedes R107 SLs of that era.
@@TheHypnotstCollector yeah I think those were a nationwide epidemic - fortunately avoided it with my 928 (1980) but the 82s-86s were all sold with them as well, if memory serves. Gov't meddling at its stupidest and most ineffectual

@@lenslr It's a messed up world !! In Calif we had 85 mph speedometers and even Ferrari had one
