Have you ever considered a sweat band or one of those wristbands they make to keep water from running down your arms when you wash your face, instead of a rag? They’re smaller and take up less space? I’ve also heard someone suggest those compressed towels that are the size of a washi tape roll that expands when used as a great space saver or emergency back up too. 😊
The little palette is actually my unicorn food palette and the little pans are some of my homemade paints. Mine are fun, but If you want to expand your search you can look for "travel" or "field" watercolor tins!
Another artist on here who's name has escaped me (older man, did 60 days studying the greats and that one sketchbook all about hair) uses the professional windsor and newton one, but they have a cheaper line for like 25 dollars that's just as good!
Love this! My travel palette is plastic - never thought of how useful magnet backs could be! Would you mind telling us more about the travel brush and the pens you bring? Would be v interested to know! Thank you!
Yes! That's why I love metal tins! The travel brush is actually one I had made and sell. The waterbrush came in a watercolor set and is not anything special, but super useful for travel. The pens are a waterproof Tombow pen and the other is a papermate flair felt tip pen!
I love that it helps protect the bristles. I should be getting more soon, but in case you were interested in one, you can get bc an email when this particular one is back in stock- www.rebelunicorncrafts.com/product-page/woneder-brush-travel-light-brush
No adhesive, there's little metal prongs to help hold them in, but I have definitely hot glued little magnets to the bottom of pans if I've had the need
@@RebelUnicornCraftsOoohhhhh those were tiny rounded magnets at the bottom of the pans of the middle row! 😅😅😅😅 I thought it was a dot of some kind of glue!!! 😅😅😅😅 My magnets are square!!! 😅😅😅 I feel so dumb!!!😅😅😅😅 Thank you for answering me! My sight is not what it used to be and watching from a cell screen doesn't help! So after reading your comment, I looked it up at my laptop, and yes, they are CLEARLY magnets!!! 😅😅😅😅😅😅 I need new glasses and a bigger phone! 😂
I am trying to find a left handed watercolor artist to watch closely! I am just starting to paint & need some instruction. I see you start to paint with your left hand, but when the camera is overhead, it looks like you're painting with your right hand. Am I confused?🫤
I brought watercolor with me to the hospital when I had surgery. It was so relaxing and helpful while recouping alone. ❤
I hope you're doing better now. Glad the watercolors helped!

That's a smart idea!!!
What is a gouache pen?! I want to try that!
Ditto I've never heard of them and search brings up alcohol based markers...
Think she means those gel pens… I see a white pen, they are typically used for white highlights… They cover like gouache does 😊
This looks so convinient! Could i ask where you got the mini paint pallet and how you made the cute little extra paint pots?

Your videos are calming☺️🌸
Awwww thank you!
I just bought the same travel case!! Bringing it with me to my road trip to California!! Filling it with tube gouache paints
The collapsible paintbrush is interesting.I have never seen one.

Where do you get the watercolours set plz I want to know because it’s such a good idea ❤
Put water in a hotel-size shampoo-bottle or mini liquor bottle , and secure with plastic under the cap
This video reminds me ALOT of Scott Christian Sava
So true bro-
Wow tysm
On the other hand, my pouch is sized 2/3 of a pen and I end up buying everything else to fit in it.
Hello there!
Could you be so kind to tell me what kind of adhesive you're using to hold those pans downs? Thank you. 😊

Me and my family are going on a trip. I’m bringing a bag full of watercolor supplies! 😁😊
Yay!! Enjoy- both the trip and the supplies!
How is your watercolor palette so clean?
If you look closer in a more every day moment, I promise it’s not 😅. Occasionally I’ll get the top messy layer off with a brush though.

I’m right handed, but in the forward facing camera (so I can see what is in frame), it inverts the image
sharpener?
I usually just bring a mechanical pencil so I don't need one.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts duh, lol don't know why I didn't think that
