A Trio of Brightline Trains Pass Through Cocoa, FL - as Well as Most of a NB FEC Freight (1/17/25)

I was in Florida last month for a memorial service and luncheon honoring my late uncle. While we were there, we rented an Airbnb in Cocoa. It happened to be quite near the main FEC north-south tracks that pass through that town, as well as the Brightline tracks that branch off of the FEC and head northwest to Orlando (paralleling the Beachline, the main highway from here to Orlando).
Later in our first full day there, I was able to steal away for a little time at the tracks. Unfortunately, two FEC freights passed that afternoon but before I headed out to the tracks. Then, a third passed while I was enroute. I did manage to video most of that train, so I included it in this video (at the end). However, I was bummed that I missed a golden opportunity to see a liquid natural gas (LNG) locomotive and tender. Still, it was good to catch some Brightline trains in-person and see most of an FEC train up close.
