I loved their fans alot. I own a Japanese fan but it does not open and close so gracefully. Can you do a diy Kyoshi warriors fan video. Just to know how y'all made that fan
Thank you so much! The fans were a fair amount of work, so we appreciate that you like them! We may not have the time/funds to remake them for a video, but we're happy to explain how they were made! We bought blank bamboo fan staves, glued foam to each stick to create the paddles, then attached fabric to create the brown half Moon that holds the fan shape. We have some WIP photos and we're happy to share, if you're curious!
Absolutely in love with the choreography, all three dancers are perfectly in sync and using the ribbons for the bending is brilliant but having the fans underneath is even better :D Costumes and make up are an important piece of any performance as well, those are great too! Well done, congratulations on the win!
