Absolutely amazing. This is why I love SW. They legit have an endless amount of characters and events. Just wish they stopped going back to the time of the Galactic Empire. I know it’s an fan favorite and all, but it gets really old after a while. Love to see KOTOR on the big screen.
@@sawkman2092 Disney just sees it as cash cow and don’t really care what they do to the storyline as a whole. They legit have an entire man made galaxy at their disposal, but still stick to the same old time period over and over again. It gets really old after a while. Their sequels were complete trash and honestly, a big smack to the face for us fans. The Mandalorin is probably the only good show that they have. They even managed to mess up Boba Fett, which I didn’t think was possible. I’m enjoying Andor, but we know the fait of Cassian and that kinda ruins the whole show for me tbh with you. Great model designs in this map, I think my only real issue with it is how it blends KOTOR era elements (the Interdictor-class cruiser, Sith fighter, Herald-class shuttle, Aurek-class strike fighter, S-250 Chela bomber, and Inexpugnable-class cruiser) with SWTOR elements (trooper armor design, raven bombers, supremacy fighters, extinction bombers, etc). It kind of messes with the immersion though I can probably understand why, modeling an entire Harrower and making it playable is probably a pain though the Valor isn't too far from the inexpugnable. I hope the map maker does more, Battlefront 2 (2005) is lacking a lot of SWTOR content and I'd kill for it.
As the map author, I totally agree. I had a hard time getting enough assets to make a space map and wasn't totally happy with mixing KOTOR and SWTOR, but doing so gave me enough to make something cool. Maybe someday there will be enough that I can port more out. For now I just made my own head canon that some of the older stuff was either rebuilt or brought back into service during the SWTOR days.
@@GTTeancum I am uncertain of the procedure as to how to transfer models into the game, but I think you can export models directly from SWTOR's files to work with into Blender

I spent so much time playing and modding this back in the day. This reminds me of one of the older old republic mods - the complete faction / game overhaul that straight up added the KOTOR era to every single map in the game, even galactic conquest. It was at the same scale as battlefront extreme. I wonder what became of Maverichell and the others at gametoast. I moved on shortly after one of the community favourites had a child.
There are mods that include those silver smooth armours from KoTOR. I actually made a lot of videos today about them, but for some weird reason the models randomly started to stretch/glitch out. When I figure out what is the problem I upload a video of a sweet sweet Taris battle.
Might as well subscribed so that I don't miss the mods you've been playing. Btw, do I need to install all the mods in the description? All of them compatible?
You can install all at the same time. The only problem is with Heroes of the Galaxy. It is still has some problems when you play modded maps. Just remove it to be sure when you try out the new maps and put it back when you play the original maps of the game.
Even though I love SWTOR, this video reminds me how one of my major disagreements with it is some of the design aesthetic. Harrowers and quite a few Sith Imperial ships are way too similar to the Kuati ships that we see used by the Republic later on. Also the Republic equivalent in the game makes no sense in terms of design history, who the hell designed that thing? Republic uniforms of officers and some others look way too much like the Rebellion. For pilots it makes some sense, but officers should have the classic officer uniform similar to those worn by the Empire, because those are directly descended from Republic Navy uniforms dating back to at least 60bby, and these uniform trends don't just come from nowhere and aren't Sith related. It is also stupid that the Sith Empire uses the title 'Moff' for military officers. I feel like they don't understand what the word 'Moff' even means and just kind of threw it in there because it sounds similar to the Empire, because they gave the title 'Grand Moff' to an important Navy Admiral in one of their lore videos for no reason (when they could have used the title 'Grand Admiral' or 'High Admiral'). Moff is a political title denoting a regional governor, not a military one, and I feel like it would have been better if they had the aspect of Sith Empire governors being installed in recently conquered territory, and these governors have the title Moff.
Back when KOTOR 1 was new and I have first palyed it as a child all the vehicles and armors lookd weird and yet similar to whatt yet to come. I have grown to love it in time. How whould the KOTOR era look like to your liking?
Modded. This mode never existed. No space battle had this. Not even after all conquest modes were completed and additional jedi and sith were added like ventress and kit fisto plus a couple new maps. I must commend that you added this on the old model though. New versions just seem so much more inferior despite being “next gen”
