Derick: Dynion - A day with Derick and his realible partner | Ottobock

Derick never lost hope nor his positivity after losing his leg in a motorbike accident in 2017. His family has always been there for him and pushes him to do better and not seeing his amputation as a limitation. Derick also describes his work at an NGO as his long-awaited dream which only happend because he had to change careers after his accident.

I can say with all certainty that it was great speaking with him over the phone. Being an amputee myself and an OTTOBOCK user for 18 years now I had reached out to Derrick through OTTOBOCK for his contact details and when I did message him he called me up the very same day! Definitely a positive personality, delight to speak with and get his feedback on the Dynion knee joint. He’s a friendly guy and it was like talking to an old friend!
