I remember when the trailer came out and everyone thought it was Christa bc everyone thought Kenny didn't make it out of that alleyway, best character reveal of the season
In my play through Kenny sacrificed himself to save Christa in the most bada** way possible and I thought he die but when I saw him in this scene I was I freaked out and was filled with so much joy.

Kind of ironic that Season 2 places so much emphasis on the bond between Clementine & Kenny, despite having next to no interactions in Season 1... didn't stop me from hugging Kenny while screaming "KENNY!!! YES HE'S ALIVE!!! I KNEW IT!!! KENNY YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD!!! HUG HIM! HUG HIM! HUG HIM DAMMIT!!!"
Yeah but at the same time you could also look at the emphasis on the way Lee was to Kenny. Because that technically was you depending on what options you picked
Kenny was really the closest thing she had left to Family, and its the near exact same case for Kenny
@@spookubus yeah that is true but I can also see the parallel between Kenny and Lee because if you liked Kenny and agreed with him on a lot of things in the first game you're bound to feel that same relationship
Well that's on-screen, how about the literal 3 MONTHS they were together in the motel? Clem and Duck were friends and obviously played together every day, It would be weird if Kenny didn't interact with her even once lol
The emphasis is understated because the core of Season 1 was Lee interacting with the group, and Clementine. It wouldn't have made sense for the game to focus on their relationship, but ostensibly if you as Lee were on good terms with Kenny, then it would make sense that Kenny would also be on good terms with Clem. Lee saves Duck's life on the farm very early on, so it makes sense for Kenny to have that sense of loyalty to Clem

Kenny is one of my favourite “flawed” characters in fiction. He’s a good man bogged down by a bad world and even worse circumstances. The wellington ending perfectly displayed who he really was deep down and that’s why I always choose him over Jane.
