  • Trip into Goose Creek @ KINGS COUNTY ADVENTURES. Part 2
Link to Part 1 • 2 UTV's take the crazi...
Goose Creek, NB, a long forgotten thriving lumbering community of around 60 people 200 years ago. Evidence of the lumbering activities still exists by the remanence of the old boiler now stuck in the mud flats. Goose Creek featured a post office, a small general store, and of course the lumber mill. Located 4km NE of Martin Head in St.John County NB. not too far from St.Martins.
With the help of Gayle and Rachael, as a dynamic filming crew, they walked inch by inch capturing our every thump and bump as we slowly navigated the very difficult technical terrain as we made our way up the hill leaving the Bay of Fundy at Goose Creek.
This video is part 2 of the Goose Creek adventure.
The first obstacle we had to overcome was getting through the boggy mud hole at the base of the hill. We gave it all we had and got across the hole with little difficulty, then onward up the hill. I was extremely worried as the ascent begun. Turn by turn, rock by rock, my anxiety diminished as the Teryx grabbed each root and rock, pushing us very slowly up the hill. Gayle and Rachael walked up the hill capturing, once again some fantastic footage ensuring we got the very best action shots to share in this video, "The Ascent"

Hey man, great comment, thank you. Next to the Newfoundland trip, this was my next favourite. Once I stsrted editing, I thought I had something special on tape so I put extra effort into it. This was the first time I used music the try and grab some attention to some of the areas. Scott, with his family, madee it so much more exciting fo me.
Thanks so much for watchimg and the comment.

I've been watching your videos and it looks like your t rex actually tracks better through everything terms tighter and doesn't spin the wheels like that r max does, GO T-REX

Thanks for watching and the comment. I do enjoy my TREYX for sure. My buddy and I have talked about that very thing. I think both machines are fairly equal. The difference you refer to is I carry 7lbs in my tires as with him he has 18lbs. Also he has a harder rubber compound. I believe the lower pressure gives the extra gripping power. Then again, I could be wrong...LOL.

Great trail. These are the kind of trails that we like riding. Teryx is a great machine. Would love to come explore this area. Are you interested in being our guide this summer? I run a Teryx 4 seater. Love it. Great work

Hey, This trail was one of the most exciting ones this year. I probably won't be doing it again for a while. For next summer, I've already got two different groups I'm taking out. Where are you located? With all that I do, I'm pretty well busy. Send me an email or message closer to then and see where I am.

Wow it seemed like you were never going to stop going up! That looked like a fantastic ride! I know it would have been much steeper than the camera showed. Thanks so much for putting this together!

Just think.. We been taking our snowmobiles down in there since 1976. haha Although I will say this. The road did not get used for years and years Unless you lived out here... But now with everything online. The bike traffic has it even worse from chewing it up and tire ruts. MLA Should give some funding dollars and a small dozer brought in and fix the road up. The old Trail down into Marry pitcher falls lookout is a hairy one too. Not the side with the falls but the 4 mile side of the gorge. Another adventure is Falls brook to Mcfadden Lake if you find that trail. :)

Nice vid. This is one of the reaons (and cost!) I don't make the ATV to SxS transition. ATV would traverse this with no difficulty. Too bad video never really gives you a sense how steep a given grade is.
