Great to see KK full of energy and enthusiasm. When he mentioned the bands Priest toured with, I was hoping someone would mention Dokken and Heavy Metal Parking Lot.😅
I met JP in Toronto in 2006 and Ken was the coolest bloke in the band. He had a box of Chinese food in his hand yet had the time to chat with us for about 15 mins totally great fella no Rockstar BS. Wish KK and his new band the Very Best!👍👍
Great interview! Ken is my favourite guitarist due to the energy and passion in his playing style. I can't wait for the new album and hope to see KK's Priest on a USA tour. 🤘🏻🎸
It's funny the original version of British Steel in America has Breaking the Law as the opening track not Rapid Fire. Rapid Fire was the opening Track on the UK version. I have both.
I remember being bummed. I was going to see J.P. on the screaming for vengeance tour but we had a blizzard that canceled it. 😢 I remember when MTV first started before it ran all day. They would play concerts on the weekends getting to see J.P. on one of the shows. I remember coming across Unleash in the East and British Steel started it for me. Finding at my local record store. ❤
In England the first sentence of your message means something quite different; I believe you escaped lightly missing a gig as opposed to being 'bummed'.
Isn't KK simply the nicest, down to earth and chatty man you could ever hope to meet. I once had the displeasure of meeting Glenn Tipton at the Stourport canal basin, who was the most miserable, arrogant so and so you could not wish to meet. As for the 6 Pack. This is an impossible task because there are just so many. So, picking 1 track from 6 consecutive albums, starting with the one that really launched Priest in the UK, Stained Class: 6. Exciter, 5. Delivering the Goods, 4. Living After Midnight, 3. Heading Out to the Highway, 2. Electric Eye, 1. Freewheel Burning I love Ram It Down. The title track, Heavy Metal, Monsters of Rock and the best and glorious cover of Johnny B. Goode by anybody. All great rock in themselves, along with the rest of the album.
Its a great song but no where near their best for me, I prefer beyond the realms of death and even hellion electric eye although more simple. Love riding on the wind aswell and most stuff from vengeance album. Oh and how could I forget dreamer deciever.
ZZ top is awesome, just seen them last year, still sound great. Love the Running Wild / Spinal Tap moment of the show!!! Dont ever loose your rough edges!
Regarding the Dead Daisies, they were intended to be a revolving door band right from the outset. First time I saw them was in a small club in Perth Australia with Jon Stevens on vocals, Richard Fortus and Lowy on guitars, Tichy on drums, Marco Mendoza on bass and Dizzy Reed on keys…awesome show🤘🏻
Judas Priest was the first metal band I got into! All hell broke loose from there. 🤣 I have seen them live at least 5 times, maybe 6. Awesome show every time! Halford on the Harley, Marshall stacks 10 feet +. And Rob's voice (live) is like no other! 🎙 One of the loudest shows I have seen. Favorite six: 6) Heading out to the Highway (I know - not a favorite of many people, if any) 5) Pain Killer 4) Victim of Changes 3) Delivering the Goods 2) Freewheel Burning 1) Electric Eye/The Hellion. 🤘🎶👊
Buc-ee's is definitely NOT only in Texas. We've got one in South Carolina in Florence, the lower part of the state and they're working on another here in the upstate that I wish would hurry along cause I've never been to one and I really wanna visit one! Great show guys! 🤘🏼💙🤘🏼
It was the Defenders of the Faith tour when the fans ripped out the cushions from the seats at Madison Square Garden. The giant Metallion stage set makes it kinda obvious. My first and favorite Priest concert and tour!!
Agree with Jim - saw them in Tinley Park IL, ZZ Top closed, individually great shows but the emotional run of Skynryds set made it a harder build up to get back into a concert mode with ZZ Top. It seemed like a fair amount of people left after Skynyrd as well, more open chairs visible.
Talking about Billy Gibbons shopping at Bucee's and only being in Texas they have branched out the last several years we have one here in Kentucky in Richmond and one in the process of being built near Bowling Green off interstate 65 going towards Tennessee,I've never been but want to take the family on a Saturday and make a day of it cause a few coworkers have been and said it's worth the hour drive
KK rules ! It’s a huge loss for what is left of jp which is a cover band now . Had they had any sense and cared for fans , they would have begged him to come me back .
It's funny that Eddie named every song from Screaming to make his argument but I could name every song from Defenders to defend that! Both great albums but it's Defenders for me.
Did he say kinda like GIRLFRIENDS at beginning?? Didn’t think he was into women like Rob. Or is that what they call their lovers in general?? Just curious. 🤔🤔. Still one of my heroes! 👍🎸
off the top of my head and in no order...screaming for vengance...beyond the realms of death...the sentinel...run of the mill...victim of changes...dreamer deceiver
Don't like how gibbons showed very little respect to dusty and acted like he never existed. Even said his death was like a blessing in a way, on an interview with Eddie.
It would be a lot easier for KK and Ripper to have the sound man just push the play button among the other Judas tricks to entertain. That's how the corporation has been doing it for years.
@eddietrunk bit hypocritical to bash on Kiss for playing to tracks when you had John 5 last week and loving on Motley Crue who do the same thing. You have to stay consistent and not make exceptions for your friends.
Painkiller and Freewheel Burning. best two Priest songs in existence I agree with Jim about Skynyrd going before ZZ....too much energy and very hard to top Free Bird. Saw them and Bad Co. in 2013; they went first and played the longer set. Bad Co. was great but they weren't even close to what Skynyrd brought to the show.
Long long time lover of Asmith just drop dream on for one they've more then proved they could do it let Tyler coast on some tunes he's got nothing to prove he's stayed in amazing shape this long
It was funny at first.. Now just pathetic.. with the lame producing. Can't believe there is not a streaming network that won't bring back that metal show!!
Just heard KKs band, strike of the viper, great sound!
Soo goood to see KK again instantly puts a smile on my face and warmth in my heart! Nothing but love for this legendary man!🤘🏼😃🤘🏼
He's so happy that it's infectious!
No doubt!!! A LEGEND AMONG LEGENDS!!!
The true driving force if a legendary band.
K.K.s Priest is a killer band and totally blew away the band now going by the name of ...
KK IS THE MAN!!
I loved that first album, K.k is the fucking man. Can't wait to hear the new one!
The loudest show I've ever been to was Priest. I'll never forget how much the venue ROCKED during the entire show. It was awesome.
Same.
Great to see KK full of energy and enthusiasm. When he mentioned the bands Priest toured with, I was hoping someone would mention Dokken and Heavy Metal Parking Lot.😅
Stained Class is a fantastic album.
Fantastic song too. Wish they would play it live!
I met JP in Toronto in 2006 and Ken was the coolest bloke in the band. He had a box of Chinese food in his hand yet had the time to chat with us for about 15 mins totally great fella no Rockstar BS. Wish KK and his new band the Very Best!👍👍
Nice job as always! That man is so high up on the metal pyramid, he’s obscured by the morning fog!
Great to see KK and looking forward to the KK's Priest album!! I have to go w Don's 6 pack on top 6 Priest tunes🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
He’s a cool guy
One very underrated song from priest is RAW DEAL
Grinder from British Steel is number 1 in my book. My first Priest show, Santa Cruz Civic Auditorum 1979 Killing Machine Tour. Been a huge fan since🤘
Love Priest 🤘
Love Santa Cruz 🤙
Defender of the feath is amazing ! So manymelodies on each
song !
Great show!!
A shot of tequila every time that KK says "You know"
No u will die from alcohol poisoning you know.
KK is a class act. Much success in the future to him and the band.
Great interview! Ken is my favourite guitarist due to the energy and passion in his playing style. I can't wait for the new album and hope to see KK's Priest on a USA tour. 🤘🏻🎸
Awesome show!!! So glad you guys are back in the public eye!!!
The beauty of this show is that Eddie is definitely a few drinks in and much more loose than his daily show.
Please have Mikeal Akerfedt from Opeth as a guest sometime soon! Thanks guys, love what you do!
My thoughts exactly - Opeth rules!
It's funny the original version of British Steel in America has Breaking the Law as the opening track not Rapid Fire. Rapid Fire was the opening Track on the UK version. I have both.
KK should be back in JP
No kks priest is way better band now.
The new song Strike of the Viper is KILLER! Hell yeah! I saw Judas Priest in Biloxi Mississippi in 1986
KK rules! He sounds like a cross between Paul McCartney and Lars Ulrich :)
I totally thought of McCartney when first hearing KK here!
holy crap he does!
I remember being bummed. I was going to see J.P. on the screaming for vengeance tour but we had a blizzard that canceled it. 😢 I remember when MTV first started before it ran all day. @@dgs931 let me change that to disappointed 😞 🤣
@@golfrick007 Hahahha LMAO
We saw ZZ Top last month it was awesome 😎
God I love this man 🙏 seriously he really is the f’ing BEST 🖤🖤🖤
Thanks gentlemens for bringing the MAN on the show. KK rulzzzzz
KK seems like the coolest guy (even if he really likes “Nostradamus” lol)
Jims joke went right over Eddie's head about Stanley blowing lol.
Yeah he went right into whether or not Paul sings to tracks lol. “Hey he said it, not me!”
I agree with Don about Alice…I saw him last night and it was AMAZING! He is better now than ever 🤘🏻🤘🏻🖤
So, picking 1 track from 6 consecutive albums, starting with the one that really launched Priest in the UK, Stained Class:
6. Exciter, 5. Delivering the Goods, 4. Living After Midnight, 3. Heading Out to the Highway, 2. Electric Eye, 1. Freewheel Burning
I love Ram It Down. The title track, Heavy Metal, Monsters of Rock and the best and glorious cover of Johnny B. Goode by anybody. All great rock in themselves, along with the rest of the album.
Dios del metal y la guitarra!🎸💪
Great Show Guys! Can't wait any week for the next episode. Wonder why not more Rockfans watch it. Cheers from Germany
6. The Ripper
5. Take these Chains
4. Turbo Lover
3. Blood Stone
2. Love Bites
1. Rapid Fire
The first time I saw Priest was the Stained Class tour. They opened for Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush!!
Kick Ass! 🤘
I could actually HEAR your comment! And it was loud - Stained Class ( fav Priest album ) with Frank Marino......you've lived a good life! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@treff9226 lol, indeed.
old enough, and lucky enough to have seen some good gigs back in the day.
have a good one treff 🤙
Judas Priest with Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush, what a fucking awseome show!!
Man!!! I saw frank Marino & Mahogany Rush shows and Judas priest shows as well. but together man I would love to seen that.. Tour!!!
So many greats to choose from.

Metal God !
You FN KNOW IT
KK n the bunker!.. 😁...thank u for doing the death metal logo..much thanks! 82 seemed like the year for metal releases then
Cool this just popped up without me knowing !!!!🤟🤟🤟🤟
Eddie looking good with the start of a beard! 👍🏻
Doing a Judas Priest top 6 songs list for me would be difficult. They have many amazing songs, but number 1 for me is definitely Victim Of Changes.
Its a great song but no where near their best for me, I prefer beyond the realms of death and even hellion electric eye although more simple. Love riding on the wind aswell and most stuff from vengeance album. Oh and how could I forget dreamer deciever.
Artwork is superb on the new album
Victim of Changes is probably my favorite as well.
ZZ top is awesome, just seen them last year, still sound great. Love the Running Wild / Spinal Tap moment of the show!!! Dont ever loose your rough edges!
Regarding the Dead Daisies, they were intended to be a revolving door band right from the outset. First time I saw them was in a small club in Perth Australia with Jon Stevens on vocals, Richard Fortus and Lowy on guitars, Tichy on drums, Marco Mendoza on bass and Dizzy Reed on keys…awesome show🤘🏻
Another GREAT show guys, would love some blues on the show, how about getting the great Joe Bonamassa for a chat, many thanks.
KK needs to be back in the band
Judas Priest was the first metal band I got into! All hell broke loose from there. 🤣 I have seen them live at least 5 times, maybe 6. Awesome show every time! Halford on the Harley, Marshall stacks 10 feet +. And Rob's voice (live) is like no other! 🎙 One of the loudest shows I have seen. Eddie you are spot on!! Bloodstone is my number one
KK's the man. I love JP, but they really disregard the fans by not bringing him back after Glen's setbacks.
Cool interview. And now play Cathedral spires.
Dreamer Deceiver/ Deceiver should have been on all the lists.
Buc-ee's is definitely NOT only in Texas. We've got one in South Carolina in Florence, the lower part of the state and they're working on another here in the upstate that I wish would hurry along cause I've never been to one and I really wanna visit one! Great show guys! 🤘🏼💙🤘🏼
Beyond The Realms of Death! Blood Red Skies! ♥🔥🔥🤘
The whip sound on Metal God's was actually a chord a microphone.
It was the Defenders of the Faith tour when the fans ripped out the cushions from the seats at Madison Square Garden. The giant Metallion stage set makes it kinda obvious. My first and favorite Priest concert and tour!!
Miss the boys from That Metal Show
Painkiller the best album and their best song
6. White Heat Red Hot
5. Riding on the Wind
4. Halls of Valhalla
3. The Sentinel
2. Painkiller
1. Stained Class
Great interview
Solo on "The Sinner" from the screaming tour in Memphis🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
6. Steeler
5. Ram it Down
4. Sinner
3. Victim of Changes
2. Dreamer/Dreamer Deceiver
1. Beyond the Realms of Death
Painkiller is amazing but don't forget Metal Meltdown, that song is right up there.
Best part of the episode was Eddie dropping Dio stuff & Jim sayn “You dropped something”
I love this show! Y’all keep the content coming!
Another grate show U Guys \m/
Great show
Agree with Jim - saw them in Tinley Park IL, ZZ Top closed, individually great shows but the emotional run of Skynryds set made it a harder build up to get back into a concert mode with ZZ Top. It seemed like a fair amount of people left after Skynyrd as well, more open chairs visible.

Very difficult assignment !! 6. Desert Plains 5. Hell Bent For Leather 4. Genocide 3. Riding On The Wind 2. Electric Eye 1. Dissident Aggressor
KK rules ! It’s a huge loss for what is left of jp which is a cover band now . Had they had any sense and cared for fans , they would have begged him to come me back .
Perfectly ,well said .
Completely agree with You.
Long live our KK !
6. Ram It Down
5. Painkiller
4. Dissident Aggressor
3. The Sentinel
2. Saints In Hell
1. Rapid Fire
I like that list a helluva lot! You ain't fuckin' around, I respect that!
"You Know" KK Is The Man' "You Know!"
Come on guys Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver, no one got that also on that rocks you guys got to hear Pyramid Theorem and give them a shout out🤘👹🤘
Don screwed up on best song "Victim of Changes" and "Screaming For Vengeance" over "Defenders of the Faith".
With young upcoming guests like these who can say there's no future in metal?
off the top of my head and in no order...screaming for vengance...beyond the realms of death...the sentinel...run of the mill...victim of changes...dreamer deceiver
You are now officially renamed kk's you know priest.
Don't like how gibbons showed very little respect to dusty and acted like he never existed. Even said his death was like a blessing in a way, on an interview with Eddie.
If KK is still out and about.... how about Mick Mars??
Sorry, misspelled Mikael’s name
It would be a lot easier for KK and Ripper to have the sound man just push the play button among the other Judas tricks to entertain. That's how the corporation has been doing it for years.
Top 6 Priest songs? Cant do it
@eddietrunk bit hypocritical to bash on Kiss for playing to tracks when you had John 5 last week and loving on Motley Crue who do the same thing. You have to stay consistent and not make exceptions for your friends.
So what ever happened with Les Binks??
Painkiller and Freewheel Burning.
best two Priest songs in existence
I agree with Jim about Skynyrd going before ZZ....too much energy and very hard to top Free Bird.
Saw them and Bad Co. in 2013; they went first and played the longer set. Bad Co. was great but they weren't even close to what Skynyrd brought to the show.
Long long time lover of Asmith just drop dream on for one they've more then proved they could do it let Tyler coast on some tunes he's got nothing to prove he's stayed in amazing shape this long
PLEASE GET MIKKEY DEE ON FOR A LEMMY TRIBUTE SHOW!
KK rules. I wish priest asked him to come back. I love priest but they could use him.
How come joe dirt is not talking
I totalled two cars to the track Painkiller 🤕🤘👍😂🚘🚘💩
It was Point of Entry and screaming for Vengeance that Iron Maiden opened up for Judas Priest. Not British Steel. Jim made a mistake.
DON'S RIGHT FIRE JOE! THIS GUY DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE! PLENTY OF TALENT THAT CAN PRODUCE YOUR SHOW THAT ARE METAL HEADS!
It was funny at first.. Now just pathetic.. with the lame producing. Can't believe there is not a streaming network that won't bring back that metal show!!
