- Traveling to Japan for the Kendama World Cup has become a right of passage for players around the world. In "the Japan Experience" Kendama player and film maker Oscar Ealand packs up his kendama and camera and sets out on the adventure for the first time. From Joining Missu on Oki Island to linking up with kendama players from all over the world at KWC Oscar documents the details that make the trip so special. With every trip there are obstacles and challenges. This trip was challenged with extreme heat illness, and more. Even with the challenges, the kendama energy and drive could not be defeated. Oscar paints a beautiful picture of the journey through the eyes and wonder of a first time visitor. Enjoy the film and hope to see you at KWC soon!
