Towards the end of our 2000km road trip around Tunisia, we had the pleasure of visiting the popular Tozeur oases: Chebika, Tamerza and Mides. These famous oases are beautiful, but our experience was somewhat different from what we expected.

To be completely honest, we ended up paying her. We're both not very good at dealing with remorse for not helping others which then leads to scams like these working really well on people like us. And definitely! Some countries have a lot more of this than others - I remember seeing this in Jordan too. And glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! ☺️

The hustling and scamming in Tunisia was a lot LESS than I expected, I thought it was pretty relaxed actually compared to other countries 😅 Best is to just go with the flow, perhaps learning some words in the local language to respond them in can help.
