I am an atheist turned Christian and happy to be a Christian. I have a liberal outlook on religious issues. I believe the Bible was written by ordinary Jews using their own linguistic skills, scientific knowledge and in the prevailing socio- political situation. The authors may or may not have been inspired by God to write but the prophesies regarding the coming of the Messiah were most definitely inspired by God.However God did not dictate the verses verbatim. From 4000 BC to 1500 BC the Biblical verses were transmitted from one generation to the next by word of mouth.Arround1500 BC the Jews developed script to the Hebrew language and produced transcripts of their oral traditions. Because of the human element associated with the Bible it is perfectly understandable that it does contain inconsistencies, contradictions and scientific errors .But to reject it in toto is to throw the baby along with bath water. Besides Jewish history, beautiful psalms and prayers, the Bible does teach lofty religious values such as love of neighbor, forgiving your enemy, feeding the hungry, healing the sick, sheltering the homeless, giving to God what is God's and to Caesar what is Caesar's. My point is that the languange we find in Scripture was written *figuratively* by the Sages. The above examples are just a handful of *allegories* ; (two obviously from the Koran.) But the Bible itself is an allegorical text. There is no evidence that any of the characters existed, i.e. Moses, King David etc. And yet the *allegorical* interpretations reveal a code for Humanity, in their health, wealth prosperity and abundance. Quran has its challenge for anyone to produce a chapter like smallest chapter in Quran which is just three verses. This challenge exists to date. You can see why it is impossible. (Faridul Haque) Surah 29:27 mentions that Prophethoodand Scriptures came uniquely through the seed of Isaac and Jacob. It speaks of the prophetic office as having been entrusted to Isaac and Jacob and their descendants. And Allah also declared in the above Qur’anic verse, that the prophethood would “remain” in the lineage of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, anyone claiming to be a prophet of God must be born in the Prophetic Race. Since the Qur’an states that prophethood belongs exclusively to the lineage of Isaac and Jacob, we must then ask whether Muhammad was born in the line of the prophets. In other words, was he born in the Prophetic Race? Muslims scholars claim that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. But Ishmael is entirely excluded in the prophetical line in Surah 29:27. If Allah intends to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac, as he was older than Isaac by fourteen years. But as it can be noted, Surah 29:27 completely omits any reference to Ishmael, raising the question as to why he was totally ignored if he was as important as Muslims claim him to be. Thus, the Qur’an clearly teaches that the prophetic line came through Isaac - not Ishmael. *If Muhammad is a descendant of Ishmael, then he cannot be a descendant of Isaac at the same time, given the fact that Ishmael and Isaac are half-brothers. I have a liberal outlook on religious issues. I believe the Bible was written by ordinary Jews using their own linguistic skills, scientific knowledge and in the prevailing socio- political situation. The authors may or may not have been inspired by God to write but the prophesies regarding the coming of the Messiah were most definitely inspired by God.However God did not dictate the verses verbatim.

Because of the human element associated with the Bible it is perfectly understandable that it does contain inconsistencies, contradictions and scientific errors .But to reject it in toto is to throw the baby along with bath water. Literalism can only lead to confusion, given the contradiction to human sense. The literal traditions struggle with these contradictions to our senses, (unless one can appeal to "blind faith"). Personally, I'm comfortable with the allegorist tradition.

My point is that the languange we find in Scripture was written *figuratively* by the Sages. The above examples are just a handful of *allegories* ; (two obviously from the Koran.) But the Bible itself is an allegorical text. There is no evidence that any of the characters existed, i.e. Moses, King David etc. And yet the *allegorical* interpretations reveal a code for Humanity, in their health, wealth prosperity and abundance.
Now I'm not in denial of history itself, that would be absurd. But it is evidently clear that the Sages used the *backdrop of history* to "superimpose" their knowledge for us.

I disagree but also understand why you believe what you believe. That is why it is important that our fundamental belief comes with 100% confidence.
Just likes Moses, Abraham and Jesus had miracles; Muslims believe Quran is a miracle. The difference is that miracles of all other prophets died with them and since we have not seen them, we can question if they were real or fairy tales. However, Quran is a living miracle and I can try to prove only if you are open to see the reasoning.
If Quran is proved to be a miracle, then everything in it must have comes from God and shall be truth.
Let me go over some miracles to illustrate what I mean.
Linguistic Miracle:
Linguistic miracle of Quran is very well know. In every generation there are millions who memorize Quran cover to cover if though 90% of Muslims are non Arabs. This alone is a big miracle because it makes it impossible to make any change in the text as these millions who have memorized it can pick the mistake in now time. If we ask all religions to burn their religious book all together, Quran can be reproduced in hours because it is in the heart of millions. Same can't be claimed for Bible.
Miracle of Numbers:
Quran was revealed on Prophet Muhammad PBUH but he could not read or write. Every time a revelation will come, he will ask his companions to write down the verses. 1400 years ago there was no computer programming to make sure certain things (as mentioned below) line up proportionally.

Let me mention two miracles here just for your consideration and you can search online for the rest or I can provide more description if you are interested.
Expanding Universe:
At a time when the science of Astronomy was still primitive, the expansion of the universe was described in Quran:
“And it is We who have built the Universe with [Our creative] power and keep expanding it.” (Quran 51:47)
The fact that the universe is expanding was discovered in the last century. The physicist Stephen Hawking in his book ‘A Brief History of Time’ writes, “The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of the 20th century.”. The Quran mentioned the expansion of the universe even before the invention of the telescope!
Sun's Orbit:
In 1512 the astronomer Nicholas Copernicus put forward his theory that the Sun is motionless at the center of the solar system, and that the planets revolve around it. The belief that the Sun is stationary was widespread amongst astronomers until the 20th century.
It is now a well-established scientific fact that the Sun is not stationary, but is moving in an orbit around the center of our Milky Way galaxy7.
The Quran mentions the orbit of the Sun:
“It is He who created night and day, the Sun and the Moon, each floating in its orbit.” (Quran 21:33)
The Quran would have been wrong according to astronomers just a couple of decades ago. But we now know that the Quranic account of the Sun’s motion is consistent with modern Astronomy.
Quran has its challenge for anyone to produce a chapter like smallest chapter in Quran which is just three verses. This challenge exists to date. You can see why it is impossible. Each and every letter has been mentioned in a certain number and there is a pattern and design just like we see in the creation of universe. Addition of even a letter will disturb the balance.
Look up numbers miracles of Quran and it is mind boggling. Impossible to do even in time and age of ours.
So if anyone see such a miracle, it becomes easy to believe in everything else inside it. Remember Quran is a book of guidance and is not focused on science or numbers.

However, her ordeal did not end there. After marrying her First Husband again, Shabina was again given DIVORCE and this time she was being forced to marry her Brother-in-law. But this time, she decided enough is enough.
She approached Nida Khan, who had married into the influential Dargah Aala Hazrat family, and the two went to the media to highlight their plight. Nida Khan had also met the same fate as that of Shabina. She was also a victim of triple talaq and has been fighting against it for quite some time.
Both Nida and Shabina have now lodged a case in the local police station against five individuals after receiving death threats.
The Two alleged that the local clerics have said that “People who do not follow Shariat are automatically considered out of the Islam” and those who raise their voice against Shariat will face ““dire consequences”.

However, since the lives of more than a billion Muslims are at stake because of their *erroneous believe that Muhammad is a prophet of God,* we will use the Qur’an itself to prove why Muhammad simply cannot be a true prophet. *It may come as a shocking surprise for Muslims to learn that both the Holy Bible and the Qur’an disqualify Muhammad as a prophet of the true God.* Vital evidences will be provided in this article to show as to why according to the Qur’an itself, he simply cannot be a prophet of the true God. A prophet of the God of Abraham, he certainly is not. Consider now the evidences.
Centuries before the Qur’an came into existence, the Holy Bible speaks of the *Covenant of YHWH (YaHWeH) with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob:*
*Exodus **2:24**-25:* *_“…and GOD remembered His Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. So GOD looked on the sons of Israel and GOD took notice.”_*
*2 Kings **13:23**:* *_“But YHWH (YaHWeH) was gracious unto them and had compassion upon them and turned to them because of His Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.”_*
*Psalms 105:7-10:* *_“He is YHWH (YaHWeH) our GOD. His judgement are in all the Earth. He has remembered His Covenant even forever, the WORD which He commanded to a thousand generations, the Covenant which He concluded with Abraham, And His sworn statement to Isaac, And which statement He kept standing as a statue even to Jacob, As an everlasting Covenant to Israel.”_*
In harmony with the above stated Covenant, *_Surah _**_29:27_* affirms that the *Prophethood* will remain in the *lineage ofAbraham, Isaac and Jacob.* Given below are four different translations of Surah 29:27.
Surah 29:27: And (as for Abraham), We bestowed upon him Isaac and (Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused prophethood and revelation to continue among his offspring.(Asad)
And We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and We established the prophethood and the Scripture among his seed. (Pickthall)
And We granted him Ishaq and Yaqoub, and caused the prophethood and the book to remain in his seed. (Shakir)
And We bestowed Ishaq and Yaqub to him, and kept the Prophethood and the Book among his descendants. (Faridul Haque)
Surah 29:27 mentions that Prophethoodand Scriptures came uniquely through the seed of Isaac and Jacob. It speaks of the prophetic office as having been entrusted to Isaac and Jacob and their descendants. And Allah also declared in the above Qur’anic verse, that the prophethood would “remain” in the lineage of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, anyone claiming to be a prophet of God must be born in the Prophetic Race.
Since the Qur’an states that prophethood belongs exclusively to the lineage of Isaac and Jacob, we must then ask whether Muhammad was born in the line of the prophets. In other words, was he born in the Prophetic Race? Muslims scholars claim that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. But Ishmael is entirely excluded in the prophetical line in Surah 29:27. If Allah intends to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac, as he was older than Isaac by fourteen years. But as it can be noted, Surah 29:27 completely omits any reference to Ishmael, raising the question as to why he was totally ignored if he was as important as Muslims claim him to be. Thus, the Qur’an clearly teaches that the prophetic line came through Isaac - not Ishmael.
*If Muhammad is a descendant of Ishmael, then he cannot be a descendant of Isaac at the same time, given the fact that Ishmael and Isaac are half-brothers. Thus, it is evident that Muhammad is not a descendant of Isaac. As Muhammad was neither a Jew nor a descendant of Isaac and Jacob, this automatically disqualifies him as a PROPHET of GOD.*

From Luke 19:11--27 it becomes clear that THESE WORDS WERE SPOKEN BY THE NOBLEMAN in the parable narrated by Jesus. Ahmed Deedat projected Jesus as a man of extreme violence and insignificant as a frog.
