Maybe when it comes to shoulders and arms. But what about climbers? They are the strongest pound for pound when it comes to finger strength. And weightlifters definitely have stronger legs. Powerlifters have probably stronger pecs. Strength is specific, saying athletes in any sport are the "strongest" is stupid because they specialise in a specific kind of strength. Not trying to put down anyone, gymnasts are amazing. I just found sport comparisons to be stupid

Jury Chechi is the only Lord of the Rings: 5 times w champion, 1 gold and 1 bronze at the Olympics (and he missed his second olympic game due to a broken Achille's tendon, otherwise it would have been another easy gold).

@@Peterpan-ok hey, we are talking about world championships, here, that's what makes you a legend in gymnastics. Chechi won 5 and Petrounias only 3,. And Chechi had a broken tendon in 2000 and another injury in 1992 which stopped him for years , otherwise he would have at least one olympic gold more and european and w championships. I realize you are greek, but 2 world championships more is a lot. Most of all, when there is another athlete who's been given the nickname "Lord of the rings" 20 years before you, who is better than you, that nickname applied to you is immediately laughable. @@Peterpan-ok don't even talk about injuries because Chechi missed 1992 olympics due to a broken Achilles tendon and 2000 olimpics due to a broken bicep. Facts are that in the european championships a lot of champions from the rest of the world don't compete, in fact Petrounias has been beaten often in the world championships: he wasn't the best.
Facts are that any mentally sane man will tell you that a world championship is 10 times more important that a european championship. And Petrounias is still 2 gold short from Chechi . And also 2 bronze medals. So write back when petrounias wins 2 golds and 2 bronzes at the world championships.
