Menu button (in the center of the touch screen). only on or off state with selection or de-selection of the button 2. Softkey button at the bottom of the touch screen. Using the rotatory knob below the soft key, one can adjust it to 1-5 levels. Hi Arthika, thank you for your question. On the iU22 the trim line can be moved up and down, but you cannot curve the trim line on this model. This function became available with EPIQ and Affiniti. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.
We are interested in performing Carotid Atheromatous plaque imaging with our Affiniti 50 US system and VL 13-5 Volume probe. Request information regarding the settings for 2D image optimisation: XRES, Wide scan, SonoCT, Hormonics and AutoSCAN; XRES (1-5), 2D opt (Res or Gen), Res/Spd, Dynamic range (50-60 or at the lower or higher end), Gray map (1-5), Autoscan (db level) and persistence etc; and for 3D optimisation - Angle (15 or 30 degrees). Is XRES (1-5) unaviable in 3D imaging?

@@PhilipsHC Is it possible to forward my query to Mrs.Johanna Maack. She should be able answer our query. Our main concern is -- if the carotid lumen is too dark, echolucent plaques will be missed. If the lumen is more grey, GI3D and VPQ softwares may overestimate the plaque size / detect plaque(s) when none is present.
Hi there, MrVeer58. Yes, it is possible to forward your query. However, to do that we would appreciate it if you could send us your contact details (country of residence and email address) and the product details. We hope to hear from you soon. :)
@@PhilipsHC We are using VL13-5 probe along with our Affiniti 50 US system for Carotid Atheromatous plaque quantification. The Resolution of the image is low in both 2D and 3D modes (much lower than that of L12-3 probe). Therefore, we are having difficulty in carrying out plaque quantification as the plaque is not clearly visible with VL13-5 probe. Please note that the same plaque is clearly visible with L12-3 probe.
This is in continuation of my yesterday's post. In Affiniti 50, with VL13-5 probe option, XRES soft key at the bottom with options 1-4 is not available. I am not sure whether this is one of the main reasons for the poor quality of images in 2D and 3D modes with VL13-5 probe. Kindly help us in improving the quality of the 3D images with VL13-5 probe.
Cant stop eye tears. Amazing
