“BLOWN BUDGET” 5.0 331 BUILD UPDATE

Update on the 87 5.0 Roller engine I got a while back. Originally I wanted to hone the cylinders and replaced the ring and bearings but once I tore it down I realized I wasn’t going to be able to reuse anything and the block needed to be bored. Now we have a Scat 9000 331 kit balanced and installed with a Trick Flow main girdle, a Victor Jr. intake and some aluminum SVE 185 cylinder heads on the way hence the name “Blown Budget”. Today we had to do some clearancing on the oil pump and main cap bolt to get things to fit right with the girdle.
