JBL and Edge are my favorite heels in WWE. They did such an amazing job with their characters.
Old edge maybe heel....
Yeah definitely
Remember you paid to see me I didn't pay to see any one of you . JBL quote
@@brandongard2835 I used to get so mad whenever he would say that.
Politically I don't agree with the guy but you can't fail to be impressed with his articulate and intelligent performance
It's hilarious that people are saying they will stop watching WWE over this. No you won't.
I still watch wwe for the legends that still wrestle like Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, etc but it doesn't feel the same as 8-10 years ago when Randy Orton, HHH, Undertaker, Edge,Y2G, Batista, RVD, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Hardy, Cena, CM Punk etc, use to run the place and on every 1 or 2 months there was a different wwe champion, or world heavyweight champions, now they shove in people's face only a Brock Lesnar or Roman or Seth back then wwe was better attitude era and ruthless aggression and the first pg shows when randy punked vince was a good story, and cm punk on mic
WOW, this went a lot better than what I expected, this was really good insight!
JBL was one of the greatest heels ever..I HATED that man growing up lol
Very well spoken on the Saudi-wwe issue, even if i dont agree 100 percent. I dont know where his political ideologies are (probably swings conservative), but he explains all of his stances and opinions coherently and cites actual legislation or current events to be the basis of his answers, which i cant help but respect. Thats just my humble opinion
JBL has mastered the art of spewing an endless stream of vomit and bullshit when he speaks. He knows how to dance around questions enough that dumb fucks don't ever catch on. I can never trust a person that can't sit back for a second and think about their answers. He's has an
immediate response to everything like a politician. JBL sounds like he never left the commentary table and it's disingenuous.
@@LaptopmenaceMTK youd rather someone never thought about the questions and then answer? He knows why hes being invited to different shows, to talk of this issue, i dont see why its a knock on him that hes prepared for the questions he may or may not receive. Perhaps he does sound like a politician, but it might be necessary to have this confidence while speaking on a divisive issue, any signs of second guessing himself will come off as tho he doesnt believe what hes saying , in my opinion
@@mikechevelle2703 Fair enough. I personally think he sounds like any other corporate shill who used to work for wwe. He's known to be a real
asshole and bully when he was in the locker room, There is audio of him talking normally without the facade, which is why i know he's full of shit
He's only saying these things to please Vince & Linda McMahon. He has a lot of stock invested in their company, and this whole deal with SA means big money for him.
Don't be foolish, greed is solely at the root of this.
@@AdolphSaxOfficial oh i dont doubt that at all. Simply pointing out that he makes a compelling argument as to why an entity like the wwe could SOMEHOW garner change in the middle east, as well as lays out motives besides monetary. That being said, i whole heartedly agree this is a money grab, and to go over after all these facts are widely known is a clear indicator of moral bankruptcy. Thats my opinion, but i can appreciate his attempt to save face for the wwe. Perhaps i appreciate it because im trying to cling on to a version of wwe that DOESNT still go to Saudi Arabia. If crown jewel is carried out, i think my subscription to the wwe network will be cancelled. But again, just my opinions
lol reading Bradshaw's name and the word bully in the same screen never gets old lol
One of the best WWE Champion during Ruthless Aggression Era
great interview.
you know the World is becoming a Dangerous Place When JBL is Talking Smart & making sense
I find Bradshaw's remarks intelligent and well thought out. I think he's being a little optimistic in how much WWE could influence positive change in a country that will kill someone who critiques them, but I agree there is some value in the interaction. There's a lot of different facets to it.
I think the biggest thing is the point has to be made that killing Khashoggi was not okay, it was not acceptable.
And while they could go to Russia and China, their tech is inferior and they would have to marry them to decades of already extant US Military equipment that we've already sold them.
JBL President 2020 w/ Ron Simmons his Vice
15:00 - 16:25 Great Words from a Great Heel.
Why did you hurt The Blue Meanie? Blue Meanie never hurt no one. XD JBL WOOOOOOOOOOOO!
JBL and Meanie are really good friends now.
Yeah keep going on about something that happened 14 years ago. You're really showing how much of a loser you are.
People are only going against WWE on this because they're the most public about it because they need attendees for the event. This isn't other companies to make their dealings in the dark outside of the public eye.
Also, the hardcore fans are outspoken by the casual fans who barely watch the show and WWE caters to them because they're easy to please.
"You can't change things by not going." Except that's EXACTLY how folks got the "bathroom bill" repealed in North Carolina...by not going there.
Thanks JBL! Love from KSA! 🇸🇦
I don't know why Saudi Arabia control America
Everyone bitching about JBL on here proves why he is one of the greatest heels of all time and a WRESTLING GOD!!!!
And a Bully
oof one year ago
"Everything is through the roof!" Except ratings and house show attendance.
JBL for president
"You look at whats happening in...."
He has one of thee most antiquated and out of touch understandings on life I've seen in the last few years, so smart, but smart in his own draconian bubble, when he said he has a new show on fox, I was like, of course he does. He said it was called bulls and bears, so I assume it's about trading and investing, and being a trader and investor and a massive fan of pro wrestling, it's minds like his is what truly has the world of politics, government, foreign policy, trade and social issues in such fucking disrepair
Joey Styles scrambled his brains, what did you expect him to sound like?
John "Bully Ray" Layfield
Say what you want about JBL has a person (even though none of us here actually know him) but you can tell he is very educated. Even if you don't agree with him, you can't deny that he knows how to get his point across.
He's clearly a politician and a bullshit artist. Just doing a simple interview and he sounds like never left the commentary booth. JBL always has a preplanned answer for everything that is asked to him, It's the same bullshit in every interview he does. He's never against the wwe about
anything, but will make it sound like he sometimes rides the fence.
@@LaptopmenaceMTK That's just a laundry list of assumptions, though. You don't know any of that as fact and to state it as if it is a fact is pretty ridiculous as you simply don't know.
Maybe he does defend the company, or maybe it's his actual opinion. Neither of us are in his head, so there's no way of knowing. It doesn't change what I said either way, though.
AntiPatriotsFan don't mind him...he obviously has a hatred for intellectual speech because he blindly associates it with politics (and thus feels like he's being manipulated or whatever). The points he made in another comment are even more delusional (like him not needing to think for an answer, when that's just an obvious trait for him to have as a professional speaker/commentator)
@Laptop Menace: That's something many people teach themselfes at some point in their life because it really helps you in countless situations for the rest of your life. Your brain is capable of so much more than you think it is. If you think he talks in a way that's hard to follow, then maybe (and don't see this as an insult) you should train your brain a little.
Every point JBL makes in this interview is well reasoned and explained, and if you have hatred for such a way of expressing *an opinion* (which he clarifies numerous times), well then you're objectively on the wrong side of a one sided battle. And spewing hate through comments won't rally the forces behind you...in a fight against windmills, nobody wants to join you. Even that one like on your comment is coming from a guy fighting his own windmills
@@AgeofJP No one is saying that JBL is not an intellectual you half wit. Many wrestlers have claimed that JBL is a huge bully and an
asshole drunk. There's audio of him speaking a lot differently than he does now. That's why he is fake in my opinion. He has a generic
response to everything he is asked. While he may sound like a reasonable person to you, after listening to many JBL interviews, it's all the same nonsense. If you did some actual research on him you would find out more about who he really is as a person. So forgive me if I
know just a little more about him than you do because you clearly don't know a fucking thing about who this guy really is. So next time you try and defend someone you clearly know nothing about. Maybe "train your brain a little" and do some actual research. BTW since you
have diagnosed me and broke down my issues. Maybe you can take a page from your own book, and work on that passive aggressive
sociopathic behavior of yours
@The Devil's lost Brother It doesn't take a rocket scientist to fact check someone's past. Multiple wrestlers have come out in interviews that not only say JBL is a piece of shit, but back up the claims of him being being violent with many wrestlers because he's a drunk moron. You clearly don't know what the fuck you're talking about because you're probably a smooth brained mark.
I wish Josh Matthews would pop out and get roast by JBL
Jbl and Benoit had classics smh
JBL era was best
Comparing 911 to this issue in Saudi Arabia has everything todo with timing.
WWE did an awesome job after 911 supporting our troops.
However, there’s nothing wrong canceling an event & possibly reschedule another time.
Well think about this one. WWE does the Tribute To The Troops show every year for the Holidays. How do you think the troops feel about WWE now being in bed with the same country that was involved in and financed 9/11?
DeadmanInc336 you know that is a real good point. I didn’t think about that. Excellent point!!!
You do know WWE is not the only American company in bed with Saudi Arabia the U.S, British, governements are in bed with the Saudi's WWE is just being scapedgoated because of the timing of Crown Jewel. that said it should be rescheduled
JBL for Prez !!!!
Wow if JBL is the smartest person who’s been on their show then that’s an extremely low bar to clear.
Rebel, cricket and rugby, tours of South Africa didn't change anything.
the not need to listen to fans just make show better
Can you grammar-check your sentences before sending it through?
Bradshaws my mom not jbl
Their views on being heel and not being liked is so dated it's ridiculous. Back in the day yes it was easy to be hated because a lot of people thought it was real. These days we all know it's an act, we can boo the heel on TV but still appreciate the person, just like an actor who plays the bad guy in a movie.
What about Stone Cold? The Rock? Triple H? Jericho? Undertaker? Lesnar? they've all had heel moments in their career, boo'd on TV but loved by fans. This just shows how stupid their take on being a heel is in the current climate.
Craig I have too differ with you on this sentiment. I myself am an Old School type fan, who remembers when the wrestlers lived their characters 24/7. It was a good time to be a fan I have been following pro wrestling for over 40 years and can tell you, even in today's social media tuned world, there are still some characters who are living the gimmick 24/7. If you so wish I can give you the name Rhea Ripley, who while competing in the Mae Young Classic was involved in the match that destroyed Tegan Nox's knee, not by anything she did, but just by a freak accident. Since that has aired this week now it is no longer spoiler stuff, Rhea has since made the whole incident part of her heel character on twitter and she is working it great. So you see the old school way is still the best way some time.
It can sure work yeah, but again we all know it's a work because the publics knowledge of how the business works now. I think when it happens like with Rhea or even Tommaso Ciampa, we see many fans who love them for it, which is not what JBL wants from a heel, but I don't think we can ever see the "heel" that JBL mentions in this current era of wrestling.
Everyone loves an anti-hero these days.
If we talk about the days when folk believed it was all real and we had wrestlers being genuinely verbally abused or physically attacked outside of the workplace because of their persona on TV, I don't think that works anymore. We probably get tongue in cheek abuse like "Hey Miz, you suck" but nothing like JBL is looking for.
You could say the wrestler with the biggest heel reaction these days is Reigns. But I bet if the WWE actually made him heel there would be a bigger amount of cheers for him every week. Elias even tried mocking peoples home towns, having the oversized ego and making WWE stand for Walk With Elias, he fights baby faces...but people love him lol
That mofo just said wigger at 5:49! 😂
He was talking about Uyghurs in China, which is pronounced as "wiggers".
ironic seeing as jbl is done with wwe. if hes so ok with it why dosent he go?
Randy Orton said the same exact thing. They gave them all the same script.
I wish someone would ask him about the time Joey styles knocked the shit out of him
JBL no character needed
New day prancing round throwing pancakes.. Rollins' nasally geek voice.. Roman forced week in & wk out The Business is Embarrassing
SALVIA'&TOAST ؟ this is how I see the product in a nutshell lately
Yeah but the fact that you know all of that says you still watch!
@@ronfrank09 Everything i've described has been the same for over 4 years
Rollins nasally geek voice 😂
@@goldenserenity2385 Its Horrible these days 😆
But for the record I think WWE should go because I think politics should stay the fuck out of my wrestling fucking hate politics all politics and religion does is divided
JBL come on if you go off script you get esp now you get in deep shit with Vince.. Also lowest raw ratings ever say that Vince don't listen to the fans.. Wasted Dean an ruined Seth's momentum just to prop up Reigns.
So I can't have an opinion on who I can like and cant like ok cool
@The Devil's lost Brother 2 years late sir
Shill level over 9000
Well jbl the World Cup in Russia and quatar are a place for it to happen I don’t watch Russian propaganda in the uk watching World Cup games. Watch wwe crown jewel and Micheal Cole saying over videos of Saudi Arabia ‘ look at this progressive amazing beautiful tourist destination ’ that’s the difference mate
How much Maybelline does he keep in his dashboard when he gets ready to pucker up and kiss butt again? He's like listening to a politician with his fake put-ons.
He's a WWE shill and he's huge in the politics he damn well knows this is wrong
You JBL are à big liar😥😥😥😥😥😥
What he lied about? Paul hayman said the same thing about vince... vince loves a debate and very much dislike yes men.
Did he just compare wwe, I say again wwe with the world cup and the Olympics? Don't get me wrong I agree with him on his political opinions but under no circumstances can you compare wwe with the world cup or the Olympics for any reason ever. EVER!
SJW JBL.
Bradshaw defending the WWE relationship with SA here is pathetic. Comparing the economic despair in Cuba with anything currently going on in Saudi is a flat out joke. Then, he runs to 9-11 to obfuscate the issue now with the kingdom torturing and beheading a journalist for criticizing them. Again, PATHETIC.
This guy's banner should always just read: 'Was knocked out by Joey Styles'. No one will remember anything else about this guy, except that he mistreated his coworkers and got knocked out by Joey Styles - that's it.
Man, Billy Ray is insufferable, So annoying
I kinda think the same thing, but, in what way is he insufferable to you though?
He makes valid points about Saudi Arabia but I still think it would be wiser for WWE to not go for their public image. About heels: I have to disagree. I think it's OK to tell a guy that he's doing a great job as a heel. We aren't in 1989 anymore. I don't want a guy (or a girl) to be in character 24/7. We're so over that stupid kayfabe bullshit. Please, stop insulting the intelligence of people...
