That belly through thought/move has been a game changer for me, experiencing much improved ball flight and distance with irons and driver. Thanks so much Alex!

Alex thanks, you just unpacked a Ben Hogan quote, someone asked him how he balances during a swing and he said "the swing balanced him".
Rythm, speed, balance, timing all in one drill, I've used this drill without a ball for warmups & during rounds to get back on track many times

Dr. Kwan has shown you can have amazing results with this. What a video! I know both drills but have been making a swing change and this has tied it up in a really nice all-,in-one package. You really know your stuff. Thanks again.

Grat drills and presentation. In a world where so much golf instruction is geared around swing positions these two classic drills will get you swinging and not pausing your swing looking to feel perfect positions. Your swing and rhythm remind me a lot of Trevor Immelman's effortless looking swing!

Excellent to hear that as it was the goal of the video to display that can be possible for all. Cheers!

Thanks for the reminder on this one. Struggled last week and couldn’t find my rythym, a few swings with my feet together, letting my body lead my arms - just thinking “turn [away] turn [through]” and I was back on plane and striking out the middle. Result was -3 on the SIM this morning, looking forward to taking this out on the course. Sometimes you just need the simplest reminders to get “it” back!

I have been working on my impact position with greater distances with driver and irons too. I'm hitting the ball with authority now but sometimes I over do it. I pull shots and sometimes pull hook them too. Maybe my impact position is overdone a little. Maybe I should be more square at impact...I will try thus at the range today. Thanks for the good tips !

Try it out. The arms are overtaking perhaps in the release. Do feel like quiet hands

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf

Ah, that’s the laser from the launch monitor. No glowing tees here I’m afraid. Just those basket tees are good for indoors.

Most of us make the same errors, not enough rotation and rush to hit the ball with arms instead of waiting for our body.

Alex you'll know what I mean when I say you've really dumbed it down. This is your best video ever. By far. There is only one way for the less talented player to play well. To simplify it to one basic thought. Almost zero complication. Most of your students have average ability. Your drills work for everybody. You should be proud of your work. That and the super positive attitude you bring as well.

    • @bruceford9413

The most difficult part i have found is the drop of the hands. Its an up and down flexing of the wrists together with equal pressure, stretching them up and Down not a hit at the ball and passive at impact with the turn itself providing face alignment at impact. Awesome. Its not been easy because it at first seems like a cast. And the forward step of the step drill is tricky also for me but you have just given me what amounts to a private lesson.
