This is a masterpiece dude. Thank you for including me in it also . I just came across it and saw the whole thing . This is one of the reasons I became disappointed and bored with gta online . You no longer feel like you are role playing as a criminal . I have started playing the older gtas again and I am having much more fun with it . GTA4 is such a more serious atmosphere. It’s hard to believe sometimes this is the same universe as gta 4 .
i like how lester gets mad at trevor for stealing a nuclear bomb from a cargo ship but doesnt mind when the player raids a goverment facility to steal an even bigger bomb
I mean, in the GTA Online context you do it because goverment itself told you to do so. And by the time that the government and Lester discover that they've been foold the government already gave you a chance at redemption and even paid you. Lester was mad at Trevor because they were gonna be the most wanted man in the country, but you can't be the most wanted man when you're working for the goverment

It basically is. In FF1 they were jacking TV/vcrs off big rigs and in FF8 they were stopping a rouge nuclear Russian submarine with the help of the government and a rocket car.
The fact that you CAN'T steal a 100,000 Porsche off the street but you CAN own a space cannon that can kill anyone almost anywhere on the map is just mind boggling.
Yea. If there were actually supercars on the street that you could steal and drive into you garage to claim would be awesome. But we're stuck with having to grind the same missions over and over again to get such cars

Don't act like the title of the game encourages you to steal high valuable cars. Jokes aside, that's why I play GTA RP. No futuristic BS, no explosives, a lot more players and way less cheaters. Unfortunately, RP Servers are an even bigger cash grab than GTAO. But I just can't stand the toxic griefers that you find in GTA O's PC lobbies.
I mean, you can take NPC cars and put insurance on it to make it yours, but not only are the cars hot garbage, but there's barely ANY customization variety besides the basic performance upgrades and paint resprays
I'm pretty new to the game so you can completely ignore my opinion. But I like the futuristic stuff. I know people think it's op. But the stuff I've seen is not like this. It's been pretty peaceful in the server's I've played. And I'm pretty much ignored by these people who own the futuristic items. It's really cool seeing Rockstar taking an odd but very interesting approach to the GTA Universe. But like I said, I'm new so my opinion probably doesn't matter
exactly. that and the fact that you have to BUY them every single time instead of making them obtainable from our own hard work (i.e thru a job or a rare collectible)
@@aliathif7778 exactly (using myself as an example I would most likely collect the vehicles (for example I have an Albany emperor that I use as a Daily driver In game) and use them to drive about In like the Weeny Dynasty or The Vulcar Fagola (using the actual name of the latter car there) as for me Driving around and seeing the beautifully crafted world is more fun than speeding all over the map (heck I obey traffic laws in it when I can) when I have something to do (Like collect special cargo and do jobs for the nightclub) I use my faster vehicles to get the job done then return to driving my regular vehicles (I mean I will be honest I Kinda wish they did an era mode for GTA Online where You can choose the era (from the 50s to current in game era) if they did that I assure you I would be playing/driving around in the 1970s era mode most of the time)

i'll be happy when they finally allow us to play setups and heist without a full crew that decides to quit after a bunch restarts and time wasted. i could see why shark cards are attractive at that point, gee, you would think rockstar allows this to entice people to spend REAL money. but nah thats probably just a coincidence.
After replaying GTA 5 story mode and then going back to GTA online I realized how alive the world is in single player. I don’t know why rockstar decided to take out animals and other things that makes GTA single player feel so real.
Now look at gta 4's single player world and compare it to gta v's. Rockstar is making backwards progress in atmosphere in the gta while moving at the speed of light in right direction for red dead.

GTA 5 is a representation of the fast & furious franchise. It went from pretty normal, to completely fucking absurd for no reason at all, and nobody really understands or knows why.
Wanna know how they could make it realistic? You fail against the police, you get arrested and locked out of your online account for 12 hours. You drive too long without stopping for gas, you get stranded. You run a red light or speed, you catch stars. Basically if you ran it like a RP server, it would be realistic for sure, and about 90% of people would stop playing because it's no longer a fun escapist fantasy game.
The first mk2 griefer I encountered was when I attempted to get back into gta online. He killed me once then I killed him with an smg. They are always so bad at the game lol
I remember back in the days getting home from school and doing the swing set glitch in gta IV, as well as fucking around at the airport. Or doing the underwater glitches... and pushing NPC’s down the stairs in the suburbs😂

Back in the early days of GTAO.. I just loved to customise my car n meet people to go cruise around with.. some drag racing, who can drift best etc. So simple yet endlessly fun.
@@marqijackson6103that is not true, every lobby has those hover bikes, hover cars and laser guns: the whole feel and atmopshere of the early days, fighting you way up as a low level criminal to your first house, is just... Poof. Gone. I remember vividly how i played Online the first time and spend HOURS and DAYS stealing from small shops and fighting with other players in FAIR firefights. Its such a shame.
Once they started people off who just bought the game , with 8 million, that hard grind was over anyway. I didn't grind that hard to get my first house I just played the game. Maybe it was a "grind" but it was new so it was just me making just enough money to get house weapons and the best super car for racing. Then once the gun running dlc came out my broke days was over for good. I never bought much stuff with my money anyway. I have so much stuff now I forget about crap. I don't understand why people were complaining id stop playing for years before they bought all the new stuff in the game and that's what keeps me playing

The main problem with the futuristic stuff is it makes everything else pointless. Why would I buy a car that can glide or an armored car when I can buy a flying car or bike with missiles? Especially when every lobby is basically a deathmatch.

Ah, yes, when the Adder was by far the most expensive car that everyone was grinding to get at a whopping $1,000,000. Now practically every basic car costs at least that. Back when everybody was spamming that one mission that had the highest payout/time ratio where you took out some dudes in a parking garage and stole a package, then had to drive to that guy's house in the hills. Paid like $9,000 I believe.
if rockstar didn't outright say they were abandoning red dead online i would seriously expect laser firing unicorns, inventory usable peyotes that turn you into fast animals, and Pegasuses
Effort went into editing, but not the script seeing as he makes major errors (e.g the timeline, communication) and spends more time being a boomer and complaining about the game being unrealistic (ignoring all the other unrealistic stuff you did before in GTA Online)
Remember having to do a glitch on the website to unlock the tank as I wasn’t high enough level yet lol around the same time Online was hit with money droppers still remember where I was given money.
The biggest facts I've seen on this game yet. Like when you're driving perfectly for 10 minutes straight then they just spawn/drop cars directly on you so you have to crash.
@@ncshuriken it´s the reason why hackers are everywhere, the game takes someone online session and the other players are conected to him trought rockatrar servers (only think the servers do), that´s the reason why there are some really shit sessions and no anticheat whasoever.
Honestly having a flying vehicles like the Deluxo and the Oppressor wouldn't have been as bad if they didn't weaponize them. Like I must have missed the part in the Back to the Future movies where Doc Brown needed missiles in his time machine

The game desperately needs a new grounded freemode with the classic GTA style of gameplay. Cars, guns, thats it. Freemode has been ruined these days by the constant gas they keep pouring onto the fire and the lack of care to balance anything.
There are amphibious planes so you can drive them like boats and fly them and you can use off the radar or ghost organization to be invisible on the map
A game literally called Grand THEFT Auto riquires you to legally BUY cars to be able to keep them in your garage... I can't even measure the size of this irony...
DL Butters? I think you unintentionally solved the problems for GTA Online and its futuristic weapons,vehicles and locations. And it actually gave me some ideas. Either 2 or 4 things: ▫️Take away the futuristic weapons,and place them in a new island where only the futuristic stuff exist and players who like it would stay on that island and of those who don't like the futuristic stuff can stay on Los Santos ▫️Have the futuristic stuff to be only used on a different military island after you steal them. Think of it like an event for players to participate in or not if they want to. Like a Gang War,or a Battle Royale. 😅😂 ▫️Create 2 freemodes that one side have futuristic stuff and the other that doesn't: *"GTA Classic"* & *"GTA Modern"* ▫️Or have them as cheat codes with a time limit 😂
Actually you can store most vehicles you find on the street, just not the expensive ones. The problem is that 99% of the content in the game is obsolete compared to the opressor and the other new stuff. I remember when the sultan or the phoenix where very sought after cars because you couldn't buy them, they had to be found in freemode

As someone who's new to GTA online I really hate how nearly everyone has the oppressor MK2, I keep getting blown up as I try to make my way around the Los Santos, it's just not fun to have those kind of vehicles in freemode especially on a public session
I remember a time where everyone was asking to be able to buy police cars, emergency vehicles, and police uniforms. Instead they took away the glitchs that allowed the players to aquire the uniforms and vehicles and gave us flying cars and motorcycles that could shoot homing rockets. Thanks Rockstar, that's no where near what players where asking for.
People also asked for dedicated RP servers too. And no-kill servers for being social. And no-cop servers for mindless chaos/PVP. Yet, when 5M makes all this possible, R* throws a tantrum.
@@Collin212 well first they removed the ability to put anything in the back of a natural spawning Titian by putting in an invisible wall in the back forcing you to buy a titan and a hangar to get the ability to open the back door just to later drop its hp so low that it could barely take off with anything inside punishing all the people who bought the titan and hanger cause let's be honest no one bought a titan for its speed.
One of my problems with Rockstar is that they take away realistic features, such as being able to go to the gym and gain muscle or going to a restaurant and gaining body fat, and add unrealistic features, like buying a ray gun that blasts people 10 yards away.
They won't add supercars with missiles or flying bikes in Red Dead. They'll add Pegasus horses and Unicorns. This will start as a joke, but watch it turn into reality

Since the mk2 got the missle lock on nerfed my only issue is when one hovers near you and you have to quickly hit their tiny hitbox while they can just hit your general area.
Honestly, the way that griefers try to hit you on the ground, combined with their speed, agility, and countermeasures, a nerf to take away free firing missiles would be the best solution. Either lock on, or no firing at all would be a good place to start. Then you still have a decent vehicle, and it still has downsides to it, instead of an end all, be all.
@@Dark-Pikachu1 The jet isn't really a joke. Sure, it has off radar capabilities, and is pretty tanky, but it still needs to uncloak to fire, can only fire two missiles like a Buzzard, has to be collected at an airport, and it's guns are just explosive MGs, all of which still make it less OP than the Oppressor MkII.
The problem is that each of the op vehicles are the same; they can jump or fly and shoot seeking missiles. That’s pretty much all there is to car battles, shoot seeking missiles over and over.

The fact you like it or the fact I hate it doesn't make it more or less broken mate. And if you say "oh it has counters" like what? Vehicles that have to do 10x the workload of it to score a kill? I personally really liked the M1 Oppressor. It is actually somewhat realistic as it doesn't have sustained flight and actually requires skill to use. Past that, everything else either needs to be removed from GTA 5 or never added to GTA 6 Online.
When GTA Online launched, Me and my friends rented a limousine, bought expensive suits and pretended we were some sort of Mafia. We drove around and killed everyone that stared at us for too long. Simpler times.

I feel like some of the things you mentioned like arena war and bunkers are still somewhat in the boundary of realism, it’s just the facility that is way out of place in this game really.

@@johngurwitz5203 7 is most definitely the cut off for me, fast five could of been, but at the time I was really into them, and didn’t want my fav movie series to die, I really wanted it to move on, so 7 i think was enough. After 7 it’s no longer fast and the furious that we know.
The best days were when GTA Online was brand new. Aside from the 6 minute loading. Everyone were broke, driving around in their shit cars robbing liquor stores, classic UZI drive-by's on anyone you saw, doing any mission or challenge possible to earn some cash.
Does anybody remember the good ol days of ground fireworks, sniper battles on the beach, drag races at the airport and almost 4 dlcs in a year with just cars, clothes and guns........ Good times
Once I had a sniper battle on Palomino Highlands back in the last gen. Sadly I dont have the footage of it but this battle stood out for me as one of the fondest memories I have of playing this game because back then there was no sniper strafing and the Marksman Rifle was still overlooked by everyone. So how did it went down? Essentially there was about 6 players in what's probably the most remote part of the map where not even the cops would go annoy us, we could see everyone on radar but thanks to last gen's console limitations they wouldn't render because of draw distance, we hid in the bushes near trees with only the tip of our rifles poking out of the bushes, no thermal goggles so there was no way to see where they were. And thanks to last gen's limitations, the name above the players head wouldn't appear too again because of limited rendering. Essentially our sniper was an actual sniper battle, all the 6 players were locked down in their positions, sending their muggers to go and mug the other players and hoping that the mugger could give away their positions, some would fire blindly at the bushes in Hope's of hitting any player, I remember getting two kills like that before being taken out because another player might have saw my muzzle flash or just paid attention to where the shot sound came from. The players who died would run back to bushes as soon they would respawn while the other players would stay where they were because leaving their positions would risk being shot by other players, so relocations was not possible. Our battle lasted for THREE HOURS, I walked out of there with 10 kills after summoning a Meryweather helicopter lift as a decoy and making a run for it, some other guy was crazy good and got 11 kills on me + the other players. Nowadays having this kind of battle is simply impossible.
It is depressing because it doesn’t matter how many of these videos we make, how many people complain, nothing. Rockstar will never do anything for us.
Sadly that's true, but it's all thanks to people buying these flying bikes, underwater cars, laser weapons and all the other bullshit that would belong in Saints Row but not GTA.
I don't like the fact that they would patch harmless glitches that doesn't affect other players, but leave GODMODE that makes you invincible in the game...
I really enjoy cruising around in freemode. Back in the day when someone got on my tail, a hectic car chase began. It was plenty of fun trying to shake someone off your tail. Nowadays I am still doing the same cruising, but all of a sudden, I'm dead and my personal vehicle is destroyed - by a MK2 Oppressor. Ruins the game for me tbh.
Who remembers the days when all we wanted were yachts and mansions?, The roosevelt valentines day car that was super rare to get?, The zentorno being the fastest vehichle? Good times
@@MolinariDC2 Yeah. Carmeets still happen. But I genuinely have never seen a carmeet or been to one where no orbital cannon or oppressor mkII was present.
Rocket cars, flying cars, even hoverbikes are all fine to me, the only and real thing that bothers us is that Rockstar insists to put missiles on every single vehicle
@NICKYROO Honestly, I didn't realize this issue until I saw this vid, then I stop using Oppressor or other exaggerated vehicles. However, I can see that Rstar is trying to fix that according to the (relatively) recent update. Ex: The Casino missions, Casino work(my favorite), Yatch missions, Casino/Perico heist, and more. These missions have good balance between traditional crime and the elements of fun. If you want to go back to the OG criminal lifestyle, try Casino work. It have some realistic contents.
This is an amazing video my bro. I haven’t played this game in about 3-4 years, and I wasn’t aware all of this was actually in GTA Online. They really “jumped the shark”.
That experience is way better in single player imo, more NPC's and cars around that make things feel more alive and you don't have to worry about a twelve year old who stole his Mum's credit card to buy a nuke and flying rocket bike to blow you out of orbit.
Or even having a way to balance out griefers. Opressor Mk II is a godsend for anyone who wants to enjoy grinding and buzzing around, but it's too perfect for griefers. It gets to the point that I can't even fly my OpMkII around without people taking potshots at me because there's no way to tell if I'm just minding my business or if I'm going to swoop down and fuck up someone's day just for the lulz. I personally like the future tech, because I always felt that the Online version of GTA was more a playground than a canonical entry in the GTA series. It's not bad for them to go for OP super fun stuff, it's just bullshit that you can get those without earning it or even playing the game; you can just purchase it whenever. I can't buy certain guns at early ranks, but I can buy a flying death machine right off the bus. That's really the biggest issue I have with it.
@@JossCard42 I only started GTA online couple of months ago and the Mk II is completely game breaking. They can zip around the map, lock on and take out most cars easily and even with a car like the duke the can spam 7-8 rockets and blow me up. Hopefully with the anti lockon tech from the agency it will help with random attacks.
@@stephenramos2824 Lock on jammer is a god send but unfortunately if the no life griefers are determined enough to get a "Kill" on you they'll just orbital cannon you instead. Legit have had griefers accuse me of hacking or say that the lock on jammer is overpowered and should be removed from the game because it's "Unfair!". GTA Online's PvP is so mind numbingly boring and excessively toxic thanks to these vehicles like the MK2. Game has an identity crisis thanks to R*'s greed and catering to kids.

This game legit makes you rob a casino but can still live in it, rob an island but they let you visit it, rob a grocery store then the whole swat team gets on you.
If players could trade items and money between them, cars would organically get way less expensive, because buying from players would become way more profitable than buying from rockstar, and that's something rockstar doesn't want. An alternative game is Warframe, a free game where you can trade with other players, making some items 10 times less expensive than the devs decided, but the devs don't mind because they love their community.

Met my first gligchers or hackers whatever you call them one had god mode and the other one wasnt appearing on the map everyone in lobby got mad and tried kicking but they booted one guy off so we all just left or atleast me and my friends

relax. rdr2 took 7 years to create, and that game simply isn’t as complex at the GTA series due to its time period. it’s no surprises that gta 6 is taking this long.
im happy that tuners didn't go down the same path, sticking to a car themed update with some mini-heists similar to that of the origianal heists update. They even made it so that heist finales were required to be done with a tuners car. However, to my knowledge, the flying cars are still there, being overpowered, and only thing they've patched was the cayo perico door glitch. Edit: there seems to be a new glitch where if the same person swipes one keypad and then swipes the other one really quickly, then the door will open. You still need 2 people in the heist for it to work though and the person swiping needs both keycards.
yeah I noticed that too, the guard around the south east now jumps the fence and goes in a circle instead of going toward, and we can open doors without needing 2 people as you can activate both keypads by yourself
@@michaelfan6449 I haven't done it solo but the guy opened them just by swiping the card I was taking bearer bonds while he was stuffing his bag with gold I was confused another time my friend and I timed the swipe wrong Pavel told us to do it again and it opened either way
This is why I distance myself from all the futuristic stuff. I play in private lobbies with friends, doing races, driving helicopters, doing heists, having shootouts.. all the lot. This is what GTA is supposed to be. Not just buying a floating bike and shooting homing missiles at people, not using any skill to just grief people and letting their futuristic weapons do it for them.
@@SlipknotBub Not as far as R* or T2 are concerned. 98% of the work done on the game at this point is to squash money glitches when they can and ban people for getting money with them. Shark Cards are their primary development concern.

Funnily enough, the most realistic of the sci-fi guns is the railgun. The main issue is that we currently have no good enough energy storage to make them work good enough to be viable weapons as opposed to typical balistic weaponry.

Missions used to have depth.... they weren’t these outlandish heist missions. they could’ve been the simplest missions, but I always felt enveloped in them completely in gta IV. Sorry I rambled. But. This is a masterpiece dude. Thank you for including me in it also . I just came across it and saw the whole thing . This is one of the reasons I became disappointed and bored with gta online . You no longer feel like you are role playing as a criminal . I have started playing the older gtas again and I am having much more fun with it . GTA4 is such a more serious atmosphere. It’s hard to believe sometimes this is the same universe as gta 4 .

I'm pretty new to the game so you can completely ignore my opinion. But I like the futuristic stuff. I know people think it's op. But the stuff I've seen is not like this. It's been pretty peaceful in the server's I've played. And I'm pretty much ignored by these people who own the futuristic items.
It's really cool seeing Rockstar taking an odd but very interesting approach to the GTA Universe. But like I said, I'm new so my opinion probably doesn't matter

@@aliathif7778 exactly (using myself as an example I would most likely collect the vehicles (for example I have an Albany emperor that I use as a Daily driver In game) and use them to drive about In like the Weeny Dynasty or The Vulcar Fagola (using the actual name of the latter car there) as for me Driving around and seeing the beautifully crafted world is more fun than speeding all over the map (heck I obey traffic laws in it when I can) when I have something to do (Like collect special cargo and do jobs for the nightclub) I use my faster vehicles to get the job done then return to driving my regular vehicles (I mean I will be honest I Kinda wish they did an era mode for GTA Online where You can choose the era (from the 50s to current in game era) if they did that I assure you I would be playing/driving around in the 1970s era mode most of the time)

After replaying GTA 5 story mode and then going back to GTA online I realized how alive the world is in single player. I don’t know why rockstar decided to take out animals and other things that makes GTA single player feel so real.
Because online runs like garbage as it is with peer to peer, animals would probably crash the game and cause desync

GTA 5 is a representation of the fast & furious franchise. It went from pretty normal, to completely fucking absurd for no reason at all, and nobody really understands or knows why.
Wanna know how they could make it realistic? You fail against the police, you get arrested and locked out of your online account for 12 hours.
You drive too long without stopping for gas, you get stranded. You run a red light or speed, you catch stars.
Basically if you ran it like a RP server, it would be realistic for sure, and about 90% of people would stop playing because it's no longer a fun escapist fantasy game.

I remember vividly how i played Online the first time and spend HOURS and DAYS stealing from small shops and fighting with other players in FAIR firefights. Its such a shame.
Once they started people off who just bought the game , with 8 million, that hard grind was over anyway. I didn't grind that hard to get my first house I just played the game. Maybe it was a "grind" but it was new so it was just me making just enough money to get house weapons and the best super car for racing. Then once the gun running dlc came out my broke days was over for good. I never bought much stuff with my money anyway. I have so much stuff now I forget about crap. I don't understand why people were complaining id stop playing for years before they bought all the new stuff in the game and that's what keeps me playing

The game desperately needs a new grounded freemode with the classic GTA style of gameplay. Cars, guns, thats it. Freemode has been ruined these days by the constant gas they keep pouring onto the fire and the lack of care to balance anything.
Or feature a freemode mode where LockOn weapons don’t work. That already removes 90% of the grieving kids on the mk2.
The only armored vehicles I would be fine with are the Kuruma or Insurgent, or any other similar vehicles, like the Viseris or Ardent

DL Butters? I think you unintentionally solved the problems for GTA Online and its futuristic weapons,vehicles and locations. And it actually gave me some ideas.
Either 2 or 4 things:
▫️Take away the futuristic weapons,and place them in a new island where only the futuristic stuff exist and players who like it would stay on that island and of those who don't like the futuristic stuff can stay on Los Santos
▫️Have the futuristic stuff to be only used on a different military island after you steal them. Think of it like an event for players to participate in or not if they want to. Like a Gang War,or a Battle Royale. 😅😂
▫️Create 2 freemodes that one side have futuristic stuff and the other that doesn't: *"GTA Classic"* & *"GTA Modern"*
▫️Or have them as cheat codes with a time limit 😂
Actually you can store most vehicles you find on the street, just not the expensive ones. The problem is that 99% of the content in the game is obsolete compared to the opressor and the other new stuff. I remember when the sultan or the phoenix where very sought after cars because you couldn't buy them, they had to be found in freemode

Instead they took away the glitchs that allowed the players to aquire the uniforms and vehicles and gave us flying cars and motorcycles that could shoot homing rockets. Thanks Rockstar, that's no where near what players where asking for.
People also asked for dedicated RP servers too. And no-kill servers for being social. And no-cop servers for mindless chaos/PVP.

They even removed the ability so that you can put a car in the titan, a storage plane because people put their sell vehicles in it and sold it easier

One of my problems with Rockstar is that they take away realistic features, such as being able to go to the gym and gain muscle or going to a restaurant and gaining body fat, and add unrealistic features, like buying a ray gun that blasts people 10 yards away.

Since the mk2 got the missle lock on nerfed my only issue is when one hovers near you and you have to quickly hit their tiny hitbox while they can just hit your general area.
Honestly, the way that griefers try to hit you on the ground, combined with their speed, agility, and countermeasures, a nerf to take away free firing missiles would be the best solution. Either lock on, or no firing at all would be a good place to start. Then you still have a decent vehicle, and it still has downsides to it, instead of an end all, be all.

Sure, it has off radar capabilities, and is pretty tanky, but it still needs to uncloak to fire, can only fire two missiles like a Buzzard, has to be collected at an airport, and it's guns are just explosive MGs, all of which still make it less OP than the Oppressor MkII.
The problem is that each of the op vehicles are the same; they can jump or fly and shoot seeking missiles. That’s pretty much all there is to car battles, shoot seeking missiles over and over.

I personally really liked the M1 Oppressor. It is actually somewhat realistic as it doesn't have sustained flight and actually requires skill to use. Past that, everything else either needs to be removed from GTA 5 or never added to GTA 6 Online.

7 is most definitely the cut off for me, fast five could of been, but at the time I was really into them, and didn’t want my fav movie series to die, I really wanted it to move on, so 7 i think was enough. After 7 it’s no longer fast and the furious that we know.
The best days were when GTA Online was brand new. Aside from the 6 minute loading. Everyone were broke, driving around in their shit cars robbing liquor stores, classic UZI drive-by's on anyone you saw, doing any mission or challenge possible to earn some cash.

Once I had a sniper battle on Palomino Highlands back in the last gen.
Sadly I dont have the footage of it but this battle stood out for me as one of the fondest memories I have of playing this game because back then there was no sniper strafing and the Marksman Rifle was still overlooked by everyone.
So how did it went down? Essentially there was about 6 players in what's probably the most remote part of the map where not even the cops would go annoy us, we could see everyone on radar but thanks to last gen's console limitations they wouldn't render because of draw distance, we hid in the bushes near trees with only the tip of our rifles poking out of the bushes, no thermal goggles so there was no way to see where they were.
And thanks to last gen's limitations, the name above the players head wouldn't appear too again because of limited rendering.
Essentially our sniper was an actual sniper battle, all the 6 players were locked down in their positions, sending their muggers to go and mug the other players and hoping that the mugger could give away their positions, some would fire blindly at the bushes in Hope's of hitting any player, I remember getting two kills like that before being taken out because another player might have saw my muzzle flash or just paid attention to where the shot sound came from.
The players who died would run back to bushes as soon they would respawn while the other players would stay where they were because leaving their positions would risk being shot by other players, so relocations was not possible.
Our battle lasted for THREE HOURS, I walked out of there with 10 kills after summoning a Meryweather helicopter lift as a decoy and making a run for it, some other guy was crazy good and got 11 kills on me + the other players.
Nowadays having this kind of battle is simply impossible.

I really enjoy cruising around in freemode. Back in the day when someone got on my tail, a hectic car chase began. It was plenty of fun trying to shake someone off your tail. Nowadays I am still doing the same cruising, but all of a sudden, I'm dead and my personal vehicle is destroyed - by a MK2 Oppressor. Ruins the game for me tbh.

Honestly, I didn't realize this issue until I saw this vid, then I stop using Oppressor or other exaggerated vehicles.
However, I can see that Rstar is trying to fix that according to the (relatively) recent update.
Ex: The Casino missions, Casino work(my favorite), Yatch missions, Casino/Perico heist, and more.
These missions have good balance between traditional crime and the elements of fun.
If you want to go back to the OG criminal lifestyle, try Casino work. It have some realistic contents.

honestly of vehicles like the Deluxo and the Oppressor Mk II weren't weaponized they would've never been such an issue.
Or even having a way to balance out griefers. Opressor Mk II is a godsend for anyone who wants to enjoy grinding and buzzing around, but it's too perfect for griefers. It gets to the point that I can't even fly my OpMkII around without people taking potshots at me because there's no way to tell if I'm just minding my business or if I'm going to swoop down and fuck up someone's day just for the lulz.
I personally like the future tech, because I always felt that the Online version of GTA was more a playground than a canonical entry in the GTA series. It's not bad for them to go for OP super fun stuff, it's just bullshit that you can get those without earning it or even playing the game; you can just purchase it whenever. I can't buy certain guns at early ranks, but I can buy a flying death machine right off the bus. That's really the biggest issue I have with it.
@@JossCard42 I only started GTA online couple of months ago and the Mk II is completely game breaking. They can zip around the map, lock on and take out most cars easily and even with a car like the duke the can spam 7-8 rockets and blow me up.
Hopefully with the anti lockon tech from the agency it will help with random attacks.
@@stephenramos2824 Lock on jammer is a god send but unfortunately if the no life griefers are determined enough to get a "Kill" on you they'll just orbital cannon you instead. Legit have had griefers accuse me of hacking or say that the lock on jammer is overpowered and should be removed from the game because it's "Unfair!". GTA Online's PvP is so mind numbingly boring and excessively toxic thanks to these vehicles like the MK2.

Let's not forget the economy in GTAO is just terrible, all to promote shark cards.
If players could trade items and money between them, cars would organically get way less expensive, because buying from players would become way more profitable than buying from rockstar, and that's something rockstar doesn't want.
An alternative game is Warframe, a free game where you can trade with other players, making some items 10 times less expensive than the devs decided, but the devs don't mind because they love their community.

It has come to my attention that I mixed up names at 11:28. I didn't mean to say Lazlow Jones (as he left Rockstar for personal reasons) I intended to say Leslie Benzies. im happy that tuners didn't go down the same path, sticking to a car themed update with some mini-heists similar to that of the origianal heists update. They even made it so that heist finales were required to be done with a tuners car. However, to my knowledge, the flying cars are still there, being overpowered, and only thing they've patched was the cayo perico door glitch.
Edit: there seems to be a new glitch where if the same person swipes one keypad and then swipes the other one really quickly, then the door will open. You still need 2 people in the heist for it to work though and the person swiping needs both keycards.
The pathing of certain guards is glitched now and I haven't done perico until recently and a level 13 opened the doors on his own
yeah I noticed that too, the guard around the south east now jumps the fence and goes in a circle instead of going toward, and we can open doors without needing 2 people as you can activate both keypads by yourself

This is why I distance myself from all the futuristic stuff. I play in private lobbies with friends, doing races, driving helicopters, doing heists, having shootouts.. all the lot. This is what GTA is supposed to be. Not just buying a floating bike and shooting homing missiles at people, not using any skill to just grief people and letting their futuristic weapons do it for them.
Imagine just adding the ability to get in a gunfight inside a grocery store or something. Update the buildings, not the cars.

Funnily enough, the most realistic of the sci-fi guns is the railgun. The main issue is that we currently have no good enough energy storage to make them work good enough to be viable weapons as opposed to typical balistic weaponry.
And not forget the recoil which each blast can knockback the user violently. But at least the railgun is a decent add
