Lone Star Elementary students, staff, and the Charger community came together for the campus' 2nd annual Patriots Parade to honor the fallen heroes of 9/11 and celebrate First Responders. American pride was on full display as several emergency response vehicles paraded around the front drive of the school, and the excitement was unmatched as students waved and cheered on FWPD's Air One Helicopter during a special fly-over. Following the parade, a ceremony was held on the front lawn, remembering the events of 9/11, honoring First Responders in attendance, and hearing from a few special guests.
