What a hypocrite Michael Kors is, how many seasons of Project Runway did he constantly tell the designers/contestants they have to design fashion, wearable clothing NOT COSTUMES and his whole collection comes out looking like 70’S COSTUME PARTY. Where was the design? Never liked his style of “fashion” anyhow.

I disagree. Whatever you think of his clothes, they were not costume. In fact they were very commercial and take them out of the 70's theme catwalk they just look very basic current fashion - not trendy just very commercial.

Also, I was at the Phillip Plein show/after-party that the NYT journalist originally reviewed (the one with Teyana Taylor performing), and the entire experience was perhaps the most shockingly obvious example of misogyny and "blackfishing" I'd ever seen. To save some details, the one I will say that shocked me the most was to see his caucasian wife shouting the n-word during a rap song and to see her black "friend" cheer her on while she did so. Ever since that night, I've never wanted anything to do with Phillip Plein; his success is the symbol of toxic white masculinity.
