I have a 2014 Nissan NV200 with 36,000 miles. I bought a panel kit for the sides and had to remove the back door rubber gasket. I found rust starting on the spot welds. This vehicle has been very well cared for and I was surprised to see this.
+steven hessenius Yes, I did show it to the dealer. It is on the bottom part of inner body. It's the spot welds. If you pull the rear door rubber gasket, that's where it stays moist. I also had a problem with the VIN #. It took a couple of months for corporate to straighten out. Vehicle had wrong vin assigned. Never understood how the factory could assign a wrong vin. Overall I'm still happy with the vehicle.
Thanks for for the info Grant. Am looking at buying one of these for a single person camper van conversion. Being 6'1" tall it seems it is long enough for a bed! Cheers from the UK
I would to purchase this vehicle as a private taxi. My question is how much do you think it would cost for a second row bench seat and air conditioning to the second row ?
I don't know if you have this powertrain option available in america, but if the 110Ps Diesel is available - it's a very nice drive in the mountains. I drove it through the alps with 7 People and it pulled beautifully. And the fuel consumption is crazy low, 39 mpg average with 7 seats installed and permanent 100Kg cargo...
I was waiting for you to use that tape measure on the interior cargo area height. I believe Nissan claims 53" but it would've been nice to see a "real world" measurement. Decent vid otherwise. Thanks.
Why don't you actually use one for a while before you try and sell all the "good" points! These things are pretty much crap for anything but local delivery like flowers or something.
Why don't you actually use one for a while before you try and sell all the "good" points - Because he has a BRAIN and has experience of what a delivery van needs to be - J***A** x
Graham Hobbs because years of experience actually owning one and driving it daily on trips of up to fourteen hours doesn’t make me knowledgeable in the “actual” usage of these vans. Lmao!! It’s long gone now especially since the engine blew at less than 100,000. These were never meant to haul thousands of pounds of tools and equipment. The suspension can’t even hold up. Feel free to enjoy yours. I didn’t. And yes it was meticulously maintained on the simple fact I didn’t want to be stranded. And yes it did many times. Sorry you must have one and feel like you have to justify your purchase without regret.

I just bought a 15 nissan nv200. Have you shown that rust to the dealer?

+motordar There is a 5 year corrosion warranty correct? What was the dealers response? Sorry to bug you
+steven hessenius They said "We'll document it."
+motordar I'd be making a scene up in there lol.
5 star review....thank you for this....

Hi. I would like to know how well the NV 200 handle mountain roads and uphills? Thanks.

@@NameNaameNameeNaamee MENTAL - 7ppl in the Alps and luggage?????????????? :0 - really appreciate your input - think that I'll go buy one!
What's the title of song, the guitar intro at the beginning of the video?
Am the only one that noticed but, I'm thinking the rubber mat in the back is being used for one of his kidnapped victims.

2.0 engine - 24 mpg......... In Europe we zip around with a 1.5 oilburner - into the 40's for us..... but your Guys are excessive on everything ;)
How is a 2.0 engine excessive? Also gas is way cheaper in U.S. ; )
The camera should be on the van,, not the man
