Good video, Dheeraj. Thanks for bringing this topic into the public realm.. It’s important for us anaesthesiologists to make our hospital administrators understand our worth. I feel COVID brought out our multifaceted talents into the open.. For too long, we have stayed in the shadows- but there comes a time where we have to make it clear that we matter, and that our work matters..
Hospital admins of developed nations realised and they pay anesthesia one of the highest in the hospitals. In India still the hospital administration is maturing and they will become more knowledgeable to understand the risk we take to give the results each and every time. In a long run things might change if more doctors enter the administration of hospitals.
Sir, no of PG seats have already doubled in last 5 years. And will double again in next 5 years. 5 years back there were only 25k.seats. now seats, are almost 50k. This will increase to 80k+ in next years. How will this impact the salaries? MBBS seats have also increased by more than double. Now there are 93k seats, which will increase to 1.2L Earlier the same number was 40k per year
Sir, do doctors working in these corporate hospitals get holidays? Like in festivals and national holidays? I know it'll not be like government hospitals, but still are there any holidays present, or it's only if you take official leave?
@@DheerajMasapu Alright, that's quite less, Sir. I hope there's a day off given in every week at least😅 Btw Sir, love your videos. You're a real inspiration for young doctors😊
Except for consultants and super specialties, all salaries are almost the same equivalent in Pakistan. The equivalent salaries of consultant and superspecialties are significantly higher than those in India. They range from 8-10lakhs to 3.5millions. I think unit system is a good initiative for Indian Anaesthetists.

Sir ,what to do after DNB diploma in anaesthesia?? is it a good choice or should go for MD pathology? Can we start practice immediately in tier 2 cities? and how much a DA get paid?
A feedback.. Doctor.. Please use a good mike.. Many a times in the video your voice is not heard clear.. And a request.. Please make a video for the best countries( a minimum of 10 atleast) for a anesthetist to get in.. With all the pros and cons & salaries..u have a video under the same lines but it is for all doctors in general..it would be useful to have a video for anesthetists in particular as u yourself is an anesthetist.. Thank you.
Sorry I don't exactly know what's the doctor with out borders. Most of the doctors love their jobs except few. Please watch my next video on the anesthesia and untold truth
Fabulous and at the same time very informative video. Thank you sir. I have just 1 question..is this branch and as such the other branches in medical field coming to a point of saturation? India has a ratio of 1:960 doctors: patient, while globally a ratio of 1:1000 is enough. So are we approaching saturation?
It's practice impossible because the population also is increasing and the fitness level of people is coming down. All together more doctors are required in fiture
Sir got 10k rank general category in Neet pg 2023 . Can I get any govt college in Delhi ?? For md . Not dnb . Also , how is tata memorial mumbai sir ?? For md Anaesthesia
Sir ,I heard that its not legal to give anesthesia for serious cases if we don't do MBBS including with anesthesia and doing anesthesia course makes us as an assistant to a another anesthesian. Is it true sir?
Sir are these corporate salaries applicable for other specialties too? Is there a difference in the salary in a corporate hospital based on the specialisation
Yes, there are pockets in India where there are no pain specialists ( exclusively trained) . Aesthetists are doing epidurals but many opportunities if you consider smaller cities. Metros are having enough pain specialists. My advice would be to try in smaller cities and once established try to enter metros after creating a brand.
Critical care is a institution based practice You can set up an icy but the problem is you need some one to admit pts there which will be a problem For private practice, anesthesiology is a better option
Money is necessary but giving more than due is not wise. Rather effort for advancement of technique of surgery and medical treatment is more important In west bengal corrupt politician are accumulating money in crores better join them if so much hungry for money

Sir, do doctors working in these corporate hospitals get holidays? Like in festivals and national holidays? I know it'll not be like government hospitals, but still are there any holidays present, or it's only if you take official leave?
We get time offs which are limited to 15-20 in a yr. It depends on the hospital policy. More than that will be loss of pay.
