Thank you for the video. It was explained well. The only problem I had was that you took the alarm out of the camera frame when you turned it on and you were moving too fast for a slow guy like me. Thank you again for this video. It's the only one I saw for this product.
All I did to turn it on was putting a screwdriver in the switch in the back and flipping it to the "ON" position. Or you could just twist it on the mounting plate.
Agreed, at first glance, I was little confused whether to rotate the switch clockwise or counterclockwise. Aligning the screwdriver slot to the ON position makes sense, but then that quarter round part lands next to the "Permanently disable" text. So what takes precedence... the slot or the quarter round tab? Fortunately the video shows why, albeit quickly and somewhat out of frame. The written directions were useless in this regard.
The Canadian one is actually different with its language, as it actually is English by default and can be changed to French by holding the Test button for 5 seconds.
Thank you for your clear and translucent explanation. It helps me a lot👏
No problem!

Ah, so similar to the canadian P4010s.
@@cjelevators223 Essentially. Always thought these were kinda similar, considering they both have Kidde's favorite line: "AMBER = FAULT"
It's cool but interesting. When are you going to upload more videos?
Does green light flashes every 30 sec?
Yes.
Great job
Anyone else get the locking tab off to turn it on? Wtf
The tab is to turn it off.
