This song gives me such hopeful anxiety. It's 2028. You're alone in your bedroom, on your laptop, playing the game you played most back in 2000~2014. The TV from the other room is playing news. "65% of 2020's world population deceased from Coronavirus." You completely ignore the news and keep playing the game. You meet all the NPCs in that game, who are all very cheerful or quirky, and all your friend. They constantly cheer you up, unsettlingly so, but you enjoy it. You engage in more conversations with them and create a stronger bond, and you start having more and more memories with them. 4 hours after your gaming session and you're the mayor of your town and everyone loves you. You jump onto your throne of gold, waving to all the NPCs as IRL you slouches on your chair with a depressing smile.
