That CE-2w had a nice rich low end but maybe too much because when you turn it off you feel like you’ve lost tone, not just the effect. I think the Dimension waza had a better balance in that regard.
It's easier to answer which one would I not mind losing: CH-1 because the effect is very mild - it is useful if used with distortion for a mild chorus effect, but I don't use that much, and I find the standalone chorus effect to be very flat and uninspiring. The CE-2w is the most useful in providing a great generic chorus effect for any situation. I use the Dimension C specifically for Rebel Yell (together with an Octave pedal), and TC SCF for Eric Johnson clean tone (together with a Belle Epoch).
It repeats the exact same arpeggios I played throughout the recording, so the sound you hear is the differences between all the pedals, and not due to variation in my playing.
Using the looper for the shootout - genius mate. This is how every shoot out should be done
The Super Chorus was the first pedal I ever bought, way back in the early 90s. The Dimension is the most recent pedal I bought.
DC2 always sounds like its cutting high end. I like the SCF, similar to the CE2 but without the mids hump.
thanks man, your idea sounds so so great!
What a fantastic demo. Find the sweetspot settings, no talking, no annoying know twiddling 👍👍👍
The TC has the most natural sound to my ears. Is it an original or the re-issue out of interest?
It's the current re-issue, called SCF Gold. Great thing is that it uses a regular 9V power supply!
@@tzd thanks for the reply. Love the sound of it, hoping to order in a few days
@@seagers_studioyou're welcome. SCF Gold + Belle Epoch totally nails Eric Johnson's clean tone!
Dimension all the way

Tc electronic and ce2w win for me dimension c nice but doesn't seem very tweakable, but truthful any one is a good choice
After 40 year the boss ce2 still the best
Surprisingly, the CH-1 is not that bad!
CH-1 is less 'swirly' than the others. It works well with a dirty tone.
Many shoegaze bands are actually using the Super Chorus in their records & live sets
@tzd: Which one is your favorite?

Im curious, why looper first. I want one cuz they scare me, lol.

Dimension C is best. Other 2 boss have muddy top end and TC too much warble
Tc sucks: it has a weird tremolo effect that changes the pitch in an unpleasant way. I don't get the hype.
