I'm working on videos on how computers work. Are there any specific questions you would like explored? Should I cover how transistors work- as there are a number of other videos that explain them? Or what about gate logic which may get a little repetitive? Or are you more interested in a high-level overview?.
You may think like you've learned something, but a few hours later you won't even remember the intricate details (see Veritasium video on teaching science). It takes some effort on your own to memorize this, and it's even more beneficial to discuss the topics with someone knowledgeable in this topic, or have a good point of reference.
It's amazing what people with Blender and a bit of adobe Pemiere can create these days. The amount of work going into those videos is astounding, and the fact that a majority is done with open source, free software is just.. frickin amazing.

It's hard to think about, in 15 or 20 year time, this video will look so outdated. It happens over and over. Look back at clips from 2005 and not just the technology being discussed, but everything is 'old' : clothing, animations (even thought this channel really does it so wel, its a matter of time).
I went (briefly) to one of the top engineering uni in Switzerland, and not any single class come even remotely close to the quality of your videos. Just fantastic

Yes, machine code and how it relates to registers on a cpu is something that is very hard to understand and seldom mentioned because most people don' work with such low-level computing. I would love to learn more, and Branch Education would teach it well :)

Just search how microprocessor are made on yt!! It's pretty awesome and mindblowing. It's complex but feels easy when we understand the concept. The building part is kinda easy, it the part where RnD has to design the architecture, the hardest part.

It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around the immensity of engineering complexity at these nano-levels that goes into so many items I use and take for granted every day. About the only thing that blows my mind and fascinates me more is astrophysics. And with so many wonderful content creators producing videos like this it’s a wonder I ever fall asleep.
great explanation, but behind your potential. What would have been really good in my opinion would be: OK, you want a 5GB video from your hard disk. Your file system knows, it is on block 501,502,503,... and 1807 on your hard disk. Block 501 consists of the sectors 1003, 1004, 1005 and 1006. Your operating system asks your disk controller for sector 1003. Your disk controller asks the harddisk for sector 1003 and 1004, because it does read-ahead. Your SSD maps sector 1003 to nand block 5000 and 5001. This way you could later explain the difference between a file system block and a hard disk sector and a nand block.
