  • hi there!🤗
    im starting a new series called "not-as-short" where you will see the wig styling process of the shorts i've posted in detail. not-as-short as the shorts, did you get the word play? 🫢
    originally these videos are filmed for shorts so they are all in vertical format. it isn't a tutorial nor a guide but i hope it helps you to figure out what i did from start to finish~

    I appreciate the narration during the video. As a beginner, I have no idea what I’m doing so it’s nice to hear others thought processes

      Oh! That’s insightful!! I didn’t think of this but that makes a lot of sense

    I love these longer videos! Even if you don't want to add narration I love just watching the process at real speed. Thank you so much for showing us how you work!

    yay! so glad to see your process, i don't think many people know that when it comes to cosplay a great wig can take up just as much time as sewing/foam working does!
    maybe for editing getting inspiration from other creators you like and how they edit their videos, it probably takes a lot of time editing over wig making but might be a new fun skill to learn too!
    And maybe next time a video of how to be curls, large attachments, or how you do up do buns and ponytails cause they look so good!

    Love this format of video, please do more of this!
    I actually enjoy how slow it is (though I did skip just a little at the parts where you mentioned about skipping haha 😝).
    Your narration is super helpful and calming to listen too.
    Thank you for your hard work 💖

    This was a really cool video an I enjoyed seeing the process of making a full wig. Personally I liked your explanations and did not mind the longer Videos of you just working

    I love your video! Can you make a video tutorial for making bangs with hairline? 😊

      I have a video for bangs with hairline on my channel, or do you mean something else?

    I think you did a great job.
    If you want to condense it, you can speed up the video for some of the repetetive parts but i think this was a great video

    • @HanieComb
      @HanieComb  3 дні тому +1

      Yes, I was holding back on speeding it up because my shorts are all sped up so I wanted to show the true process of it here without doing so? But thank you for your feedback!!

  • @andtheneverythingchangedwh5234

    This is so fascinating! I like the narration explaining what you are doing. I have so many questions. Are these wigs just for you, or do you sell them? Where do you source your materials from?

    • @HanieComb
      @HanieComb  День тому

      Most of them are for my clients, I do wig commissions full time. For where I get my wigs from I have a blog post on it: www.haniecomb.com/blog/where-do-i-get-my-wig-base-from

    I love these longer videos! Which wig head and stand do you use or do you have any recommendations? I have a really cheap one so the head always falls off the stand but I don't know what I should get. Thank you!

    • @HanieComb
      @HanieComb  3 дні тому +1

      To stabilize the wig head you need to get a wig head attachment that fits the base of the wig head snugly. I don't use any particular brand, there's a lot of options on Ali Express for wig head and stands

    Do you always hairspray the wig after you use flatirons or it's unnecessary? I never customized my wig so I really have no idea what I'm supposed to do

    • @HanieComb
      @HanieComb  3 дні тому +1

      I usually only use hairspray to fix the styling once I'm happy with how it looks

  • @KiraLitchfield
    @KiraLitchfield 3 дні тому

    Do you use extra hair wefts to make the additional pieces of this wig?

    • @HanieComb
      @HanieComb  3 дні тому

      Yes I did~ I think I used 2 rows? One for the braid and the other for the rose
