When I first discovered Reggie, I had to go on a deep dive of his performances to figure out what his real voice sounded like. He had this thing where he almost never used his normal speaking voice for a couple years and it was wild.
Reggie thrives on making the audience feel uncomfortable and clueless about what they are witnessing, and then hitting them with some incredible harmonies, so good!
Reggie: “…you know what I’m saying,” Everyone: “maybe?”
I love watching people come fresh into this kind of absurd comedy and just be so confused.
I’ve said it for years and I still believe it. Reggie Watts is not of this world.
Got like oatmeal... Y'know what I'm saying. And it's delicious. Know what Imma sayin. Some people don't like it. Some people don't like oatmeal. That's too bad. Real good, put some butter in there brown syrup...sugar you know all of that, stir it up so it's not too hot so you burn your tongue and not enjoy the rest of your breakfast regret it later have a sore tongue for the rest of the week hope that it heals take some zinc.
Being from southern Louisiana, this is beyond hilarious. Reggie is NAILING it.
What I love about this (and Reggie) is that there's barely any understandable phrases in this song, and yet I know all the words and it feels like I've heard it before.
I didn't know James Harden could sing.
I watched this clip live on TV. Reggie watts looks exactly the same. And it’s crazy how time flies. I’m gonna miss Conan.
Reggie is so unbelievably talented.
This is one of my favorite Reggie performances! Everything he does is enigmatic. I hope he makes a special again soon.
