About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

Baby as it is an infant for her but as Helen told her that her daughter is the hope of their people she gave a name to her daughter as HOPE before she gave her daughter to Levi and the father

This scene actually hits saddening close to the real world. Especially nowadays parenting methods, where you make it hard on your child without realizing. Making it unable to fight the hardships when it has to and unable to survive and instead be "eaten" because it's too weak..
Exactly. Forcing such a strong attachment means your child is unable to fend for themselves. Then when you aren't around, they don't have the ability to survive in this world.

I think they should have continued the series. Even if the ratings weren't that high. The series was very good and really nice. Different from others. It has real potential and they just canceled the series. I don't think that's right. And I'm sure a lot of fans see it that way.

@Hugo Correia And that I can work with because he'll gain some advantages. Turning fully it way too far but getting some advantages like advanced healing, lung capacity and some heightened senses make sense realistically. I truely hope the show sticks with that great balance of realism and fantasy/supernatural. It's something I admire of this show so I really hope they dont disappoint me. Having a little less faith in it than last season though. Also due to the forced/OOC behaviour of Maddie this season. It erks me so added to Ben's storyline, lithe faith in the series is a bit lessened for me now. We'll see💁♀️
