About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

Siren Season 2, Episode 10 | Studying Ryn’s Transformation | Freeform
ua-cam.com/users/siren?sub_con... - Розваги
This is the most realistic transformation from mermaid to human...now i dont ask anymore where did the feet came from...and to noticed there is a tail left behind every transformation that turned into dust everytime been touched...such a nice transformation detail
So her feet reformed underneath the scales and skin I guess
Yes her body tissues reformed to form feet
Hands down the best mermaid transformation in history
Nifon Khall yasssssssssss
Looks more natural than the other mermaid transformations
Blue my mind
C Albeit considerably more gruesome.
Wacth syrena transformation POTC 4!!
Mako mermaids and H2O : **cries in basic transformation**
Atleast, h2o tails are the best i ever seen.
Hahaha so sure
Its for kids 😅
Stop they never shower because they fish
@@daniel_black7264 yes, very realistic
Love how the transformations aren't like a drop of water and then a full tail just sprouts on your legs. Love the detail. The fact that they portrayed it as almost very painful
It seems just as painful if not more painful to go from mermaid to human than it does human to mermaid! Poor Ryn! And the fact that she feels that same pain EVERY SINGLE TIME SHE TRANSFORMS! All I can say is that Ryn definitely has a higher pain tolerance than I do! I couldn't go through that!
It is said in the show that not all mermaids survive the transformation. Some of them die due to the huge pain they feel.
@@StoryGirl17 I can understand why they would die. Even Ryn sat there for a while after the transformation while the pain stopped.
the story of this series is s++++
Yes I think Ben was in the right to intervene. That not only looks painful but it’s also inhumane that Ryn is being put through this just in the name of “science” if you want my opinion
L Gaines what are the heaters for?
@@khilamothe8693 to dry her so she can transform
Khi Lamothe it’s to simulate sunlight so she can dry up and hasten the transformation.
at the same time, do you believe that current science has developed without "inhuman treatment"? knowledge has a price, sometimes disgusting.
@@efaristi9737
Shut up.
It's so realistic
is very good
Their CGI and Editing is very good then.
Proof that life finds a way
@@Silentprincess360 jurastic park
Yeah
I wanted to scream myself for them to stop torturing her. Almost had me in tears to see her in such pain. I know she wants to help, but this is just wrong.
Tawnie Torturing her how? As far as the scene showed, no one or thing touched her. All they did was transition her from the water and increased her body temperature through heat lamps that they were also exposed to, then documented the transformation as it occurred naturally.
Solkard The transformation is painful to them. Every time. That’s torture.she has wonderful intentions, but dang! Watching her go through that..I side with Ben. That’s enough. They got what they think they needed. The study should end. Though I know it won’t. It’s part of the storyline.
@@tawnie9204 Ben said "That's enough" when the whole thing just ended... ¬_¬
How is it torture if that’s how they are in the wild that’s how they transform without human activity which nun was taking place but recreating the heat of the sun
@@therealx.snoppyy9263 - they're FORCING her to change - that IS torture.
i love how protective maddie and ben are of ryn. it’s been like that since day one. they really love her. it’s breathtaking overall
These mermaids look so realistic
*Siren
mermaid.
@@yosugarboo siren, she's a siren not a mermaid. there's a difference
@@bellazammit1814 sirens are half woman, half bird. Ryn is a mermaid. it is you who have the fanciful mind that mermaids are sweet and kind creatures.
ටිᥱꪮ Ꭵ᥉ꫝᥣ͠ᥲꧏ There are different versions of sirens and if the show itself is called ‘Siren’ how and why in the fuck do you insist on calling them mermaids? And please, don’t be putting words in my mouth that I have never said, thank you.
The cgi are mind blowing! You guys are doing an incredible job! Plus Elline's acting is impeccable she is true gem!
Love the amazing cgi effects for the tail. Better than season 1
I agree with you
they never cease to amaze me with the effects
Siren is one of the best shows I’ve ever watched and I am hands down obsessed with Ryn. Even though she can be a bit aggressive sometimes, she is hands down the best mermaid I’ve ever seen...I hope they make a season 4,5,6 ,7,8,9 and 10 if need be. Well done Freeform
Sirens and mermaids are very different
Painful but intriguing for the transformation, it’s like witnessing evolution in action
More like metamorphosis, like when you see a caterpillar transform into a butterfly or a tadpole into a frog.
Poor Be...he loves Ryn so much he couldn't handle seeing her suffer. Excellent transformation and the emotion from the actors was so realistic.
Kinda reminds me of the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale where when the mermaid becomes human, her body feels like a sword is slashing through her in half.
Factx
Yes me too
Yeah, intense, realistic.
In hans' version when the mermaid is human every time she walks it's like walking on knives.
Jakegothicsnake Except, that the sea witch gave the little mermaid a potion to drink that would turn her into a human.
I would think that studying mermaids must be a really high-budget project where you’re gonna need a lot of equipment and this people here are recording a fucking transformation in what appears to be ipads, phones and one or two cameras. Couldn’t they install cameras at every angle of that room so they didn’t take the risk of having shaky videos of this epic moment because of the researchers running around the fish tank like headless chickens? 😂😂😂😂
i think they got more laid back since they already studied like that a mermaid and now they know they can get another. plus this is to look as unintrusive as possible to Ryn so she would keep coming on her own
These are UA-cam scientists or worst TikTok scientists.
Now this is the more realistic transformation possible... the best I've seen from any mermaid movie/tv show
That scene made me hurt emotionally. I felt for maddie and ben.
i love the gills on the side of their bodies!! TRULY AN AMAZING DESIGN!!
Although it looks gruesome it's more realistic and what you would imagine a mermaid to look like and transform like, it's so good
I love watching the way she is as she's in her (original) mermaid form, the way she transforms back into human form, and as Ben and Maddie give her a towel to cover herself.
This has to be the most amazing mermaid scene to date. Haven't even watched season 1 yet so this is so exciting!
The part where her tail is severed from the rest of her body was pretty gory-even more gory than the werewolf transformations in An American Werewolf In London and the first Howling movie combined!
Not as gory as hemlock grove
Mae LaBelle I've never seen that one, what's it about?
@@maelabelle7584 the hemlock grove transformation was fucking intense. When i saw it for the first time i had to pause the show and take a moment before continuing
This is one of my favorite shows but An American Werewolf in London? No way this was worse, she screamed once for 5 seconds
Jo Smith I didn’t say it was better than American Werewolf, I just said it was more gory, meaning that we see more blood in this transformation than we do in American Werewolf’s transformation which hardly showed any blood at all in their transformation. But personally I agree with you in that no one can really top American Werewolf in terms of it’s transformation or it’s special effects
So this is what she risks every fvcking time she treads on dry land? Wow.

Lol I was laugh so much when Eline Powell said "If you click the subscribe button you can watch more and more , more more more Forever more so click the subscribe button" 😂 nothing I just laugh 😂
My favorite bit is that the tail fin stayed behind as solid flesh it freaking broke off amazing really nice detail i always hated how they always rolled the finns up to magically make them feet in othermovies and shows
I kinda feel that this is what Ariel experienced when she transformed into a human in the original story of Little Mermaid.
No Ariel just magically changed to human
Yeahh original fairytales are often very brutal
Not only is the most painfull and tortous thing. But is incredible belivebla. This séries is actually showing how could be real mermaids. Its also kind of horrofying thinking that Ryn is passing for this. Not only the pain, but the humiliation, I imagine that for mermaids being seen in this perspective must be desonerable as their show as Top Predators. But this series mythology and effects are amazing. Just great.
AGREEEEEE !!
It's kinda heartbreaking to watch Run screaming in agony and to just see scientists just taking pictures.... she's not a zoo animal like come on.😢
Yes, this is so sadistic!
I love how you can tell it's a extreamly painful transformation rather than depending upon the bone cracking noise they add actual painful cgi to it that makes you just cringe imagining it happening to u
I hope you all know that this is how all of the mermaids in siren transform on a daily basis, the scientists aren't the ones who make transforming painful. This is just a normal Wednesday for ryn.
The guy looked like a total idiot stepping in
The purpose of him stepping in is necessary, as they're unnecessarily putting her into seawater to force a transformation. This isn't something that they should just do willy-nilly, especially not since Ryn has even said it tires them and puts strain on their bodies. Plus, as we just saw, _it's painful._ That's why they eat so much on land, for energy to transform.
So yeah, it is "just another normal Wednesday for Ryn", but the underlying context of the situation is equally as important as some of the opinions.
If people think this is intense they should watch the werewolf transformation in hemlock grove. That and Ryns transformation in this video are some of the most intense/gory transformations I've ever seen.
nah thats one weird and stupid
I hate how this season they are turning her into this big experiment..hurts my heart
Well Ben and maddie are used to seeing Ryn's martial instinct and how she is humanly to her predator side.Of course No one outside of there relationship have no idea her kind exist so to them this is an new species arising so "YES" there going to take a lot of pictures to Examine her Also ryn Did not have to go threw this pain but she did it so that Ben and Maddie could be happy, and so took the sem cells so that Ben's mother could live on and get better. So She's not being forced into this for scientist at all plus When Maddie says: "She's not an zoo exhibit really does suprise me because Ryn is an never discovered species so YES to them she's another apex predator and she'll be studied not in an way that Donna was but in an safer way.To them Ryn "IS" an zoo exhibit
Fun fact about sirens: They are half bird half human, they sing and it gets in you're head and they somehow control you.
That's the Greek version of it
I wish real mermaids looked like this
Robloxpeaches Maybe they do?
Service Puppy Amber probably
So it means every time they transform their tails were cut from their bodies?
I wouldn't say cut but mostly just torn/peeled off when they transform into the human state you can see it in other transformations that they have on the show x
Ni i think becuz of th chemical those scientists inject in her
Yeah kinda, more so like a snake shedding it’s skin or a gecko removing its tail to a escape a predator
like starfish Patrick Star
Yeah but when she becomes human, she's tail "falls out" from the body and is carried by the waves of the sea, when she turns back to her mermaid form the tail "grows" again, it is just cartilage
Ooof that tail part! 😱😬😬😬 i felt that through the screen 😂👏👏👏
oooh i always wondered how the transformation went now we finally get to see it
Yeah its so painful for her 😥
The cgi and effects all look absolutely amazing! I love how they did the effects with the spine
Ben was absolutely right to intervene. That looked painful in the utmost, and I honestly felt like it wasn't necessary for her to go through that.
I never thought that transformation will turned to be the best transformation of mermaid of all❤
The tail splitting and shedding the end of it is really haunting
Siren is one of the best show ever!! I can’t believe the show is end just season 3 😭
If mermaids were real, I would think this is what it would look like if they had to transform into their human state.
So sorry ryn. That was very painful and against your will. It's shame on them for hurting you like that.😢
Against her will??
@@ME.S.E how they dryed her fins that looked painful.
But she goes through this every time she changes, the only difference is that she is in a laboratory (and she is also there by choice)
@@kimolson4683 It seemed painful because she had started to transform, transformation is a natural thing that she goes through whenever she goes to land, that light was just helping her to dry faster to start the transformation
2:03 this is literally the cutest way yet to make ppl subscribe 😂👍
The reason that they show the transformation is what makes me love the show, usually they show what’s happening to the cells or sum.
What a great act! I can't even see her knees bent!
I would have felt the same as Ben and Maddie.. It'd be horrible to see someone you care so much for, love even, being observed nakid and afraid like in this scene :( I hope Ryn never has to go through such scrutiny again :(
But apart from that, it was so awesome to see in such details how she transformed :D Great CGI
Beautiful, flawless editing the effects were awsom! One of the many reasons i like this show
The tail melting away was insane I need to watch the show
If they're studying Ryn's transformation then hopefully they're not trying to kill her.
I can't wait for season 3....this series is amazing ❤️
Ben’s worries face pulled at my heart. He cares so much for her
THE CGI IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Imagine a werewolf transformation made by these people. 😱
Ben is in so much pain watching her😭
This brought tears to my eyes! He was right to intervene!!
The pain she suffered is not even half of what a normal human being would of felt if they're put through in their strength.
This is epic! But poor ryn!
Love this show...hope it comes back soon..🙂
I really wished they would of made a season 4, I miss this show.
My first time commenting on UA-cam video this part gat me in tears when I watch the movie.. love to watch it always
That looks so incredibly painful! Outch. But apart from that, the special effects are insane wow!
Sad to no that they're not going to continue the show was really looking forward to more episodes it would be nice if they start coming back on again
no they're continuing and it comes back in November.
This is the best mermaid series ever. Wow.
WOW 😱this is fascinating I love this series ❤❤👍
Damn I cried watching the agony of that transformation yo😔
OMG that's was amazing and love of how the change doesn't start straight away it takes a moment then it starts and love it how painful It is I wonder dose it get easier over time
Crywolf I completely agree! I love that detail too (the fact that they don't change right away), since it makes it even more realistic.
The show has shown that at least the turning INTO a mermaid gets shorter after they do it a few times. For example, the first clip of Ryn turning (S1E1) was really slow and painfully (she just kind of stood still in the ocean), but by the end of the season (last/second to last episode of S1) she was able to jump right into the ocean off the boat and start swimming as the quicker transformation took place.
However, from what we’ve seen of their turning into humans, it seems to take longer and be riskier. At the start of S2 they found several dead mermaids and merman and one nearly died from a collapsed lung.
You love how painful it is? What the actual fuck!
@@ME.S.E I don't think it's what Crywolf meant, I think she/he/it meant that it was very realistic and that the transformation wasn't 3 seconds long with bubbles covering your body just like from H2O
Beautiful, but painful
They did a great job btw~! 👏🏽👏🏽
The In and Out Transformation is really painfull as for the mermaid 😢
This is the first time we saw ryn turn into a human we have only seen her turn into a siren so this was really good if i was her I would of not let them do it only to save Ben
I loved it very much
I watched all episodes.
Please more
the comments are very interesting. people were crying watching her transform... naturally. odd. esp when she does this every time she goes from land to water and vice versa. this particular scene struck me bc it reminded me how weird it is that Ben and Maddie watched her transform from an animal/siren and stay laid up with her. very bizarre concept regardless of the folklore.
Cara essa é com certeza uma das melhores transformações de algum ser mitológico da história
Very hurtful to watch...
Poor Ryn, she’s obviously in a lot of pain
you don't know how much it hurt! the pain never goes away
ben and maddie r acting as if ryn doesnt go through this through every transformation
I still remember that Donna was caught in a fishing net and I think that's how they got her and study her.
Ben is there. I don't think so
@@ME.S.E yeah so what about it, we all know that Ben is here he could be studying mermaids because he's still a marine biology.
@@omarjohnson3805 Mmm hmm
Being that I know mermaids are real this show is indeed to graphic makes me think that this SHOW IS REAL
“It’s enough!”
At the end.
Sometimes my genius its... its almost frightening
Omg this is my favorite show!!!
Damn i don’t wanna be a mermaid anymore:(
Siren I love it is the best series, I encerio I love them all I like their videos I will follow them in Instagram!!!!
Siii
I wish I had I tail like ryn
Verry good!
I wish this show would introduce werewolves. With this cgi a werewolf transformation would look off the charts
Ikr, but i feel like werewolves would need their on movie or tv series.
@@jawbreakergito7154 i just need some good werewolves in my life
:(
Why, this show is called Siren, not mythical creatures
If you want to see things like that I recommend watching The Vampire Diaries and/or The Originals.
Here’s a clip from one of the shows I mentioned one video is an actual scene and the other is how they create that scene. ua-cam.com/video/DcakIDmdE-c/v-deo.html. ua-cam.com/video/vrzQxiuA9F4/v-deo.html.
This is just like they've been studying Donna ryn's sister.
I cried during this scene. That looks so inhumanely painful
Wow nice movie am waiting for next episode
That looks so painful😨
Sério..essa série supera muito. A transformação dela ficou muito desumana ^-^
Guy 1: So is this the place to study mermaids?
Guy 2: no. This is where you play god.
I liveeeeeeeee for this show😩👏👏👏❤️❤️
this is how a real mermaid supposed to look scary wild no a mermaid shouldn't be pretty realest mermaid show ever
I feel bad,Everytime a mermaid transforms their bones break and reconnect into a human body.ive heard that we as humans once we're mermaids but maybe we forgot how to transform back ;~;
I can’t imagine what it must feel like
😰😰😰
this is very well done
