I drove a taxi cab in the resort area of Lake Tahoe. Classical music was my secret weapon. It makes drunk people shut up. If you play rock and roll, they will get louder and talk over it. If you play country, they will sing along. Play Classical, and they will just shut up after a few minutes and listen. Works every time.
When I was pregnant I watched a lot of twoset. Since I have my daughter I was watching you guys with headphones, but I accidentally started this video out loud, and she automatically smiled when she heard Eddys voice. So I guess you have a new fan!
That taxi driver story gives me a game idea. Twoset should each research for very very rare and underrated music, and challenge each other to hums it. If one person manage to name a classical music that the others cannot hum, then he scores a point! And of course, winner gets bubble tea.
I mean, there is SO MUCH classical music out there…it can’t be that hard to find pieces the boys wouldn’t know can it? Or am I just a classical noob who doesn’t listen enough?
Once me and my family were on the roadtrip and in the evening my father, who was driving, got very tired and started to fall asleep, and none of the music that we had helped him to stay awake. But then my mom blasted some Haydn and my dad felt good enough to drive for the rest of the way. Since then when someone says that classical music makes them fall asleep, I just assume that they never listened to it.
My colleague likes to play very sad classical music at work. She's an in denial emo lol. I always get sleepy. But when she's in the mood to mix upbeat classical music in the playlist, we're good.
That's a fun story but it's very dangerous to drive tired. Anyone else in the car would be a safer choice and it's an urban legend that "blasting music helps you stay awake". Thousands of people die every year from this mistake. Don't do it. There is LOTS of literature and information available on this subject as it has been studied exhaustively so you can just do a search to learn more.

I can never tell if it's hot or cold in the twoset household. Sometimes Brett will be wearing 2-3 layers while Eddy wears only a tshirt (and shorts); other times it's the other way around, so???
It's summer in Australia at the moment and this year it's literally hot like hell everyone is trying to hideaway somewhere with aircon; so if their aircon is set too cold it kinda makes sense if one of them is wearing more while the other is comfortable. But I'm not sure they were in Australia at the moment......
My little cousin got that cat piano at 8:36 for Christmas. The microphone doesn't really work, and you can only play a couple notes at a time, but it has different instrument sounds, backing rhythm tracks, the ability to record yourself, and a bunch of music and children's songs sung with words about cats instead of the originals... like "How Much Is That Kitty in the Window" and "Meow Meow Said the Cat" (Row row row your boat). It's pretty cute! Oh, I forgot to say. When it came onscreen I showed it to her. She got this huge smile and pointed at it and looked at me like "That's my toy!" 😄
I was so worried for a second it was 1set violin again!! I missed Brett’s Shocked/horrified noise at the beginning 🤣 We need a 2Set branded Brettronome! And an Eddy Tuning system!!
Hmm 🤔! Perhaps there should be a couple of new “limited edition” items created for their TwoSwet Apparel online store. I mean, they already have a wrist watch ⌚️ for sale so why not a patented “Brettronome” & “Eddy-tuner”? Brilliant💡🧠🙌🏽 idea! 🤩😍
I would love to see twoset react to the only other genre that uses intricate melodies and almost exactly the same instruments: Traditional Music. In Crete we use violins and Lyres for very cool melodies like the pentozali. Would be interesting to see if they can play it. Edit: Twoset if you ever see this, hit me up for a dive in the Wonderful world of Traditional Greek Music!
I remember long ago the place i was working had buses for the employees. One day i was on my way home and the driver had the radio on with for once classical music. Another solid episode of lingling40hours. I know the worst part about that meme was the feet on keys, but for me the absolute worst was that the text on the picture did not match the image at all. Put yourself first means you should step on a piano? Like, huh?
In Taylor Swift's Cardigan music video, she does just that. She climbs out of a piano, barefoot on the keys with a close up on her foot like it was directed by Tarantino.
