@@purplegreenyurmom6789 ya but as a little kid sometimes you flinch and don’t look down. With a one peice you are less likely to get hit in the neck with it. That is why two peice helmets are banned in little leagues
A 2 piece helmet is too heavy!! I owned a Red Wilson Shock FX2 (2lbs 12oz) dependable and comfortable for a few years. It stopped many HARD foul tips but the cages bend and had to be replaced......The weight now affected my neck at 62. Doing a double at the plate was stressful. So I invested in an All-Star "Magnesium" 17oz with a matching skullcap. Game changer for me!!! ⚾😁⚾ This new All-Star mask visor/skullcap $510CDN from Ump-Attire was worth every penny...the mask will be cremated with me😇
2 Piece is where it's at.
Not after you try a Magnesium from All-Star
Ive always liked the two piece.
Thanks for making this video, it helped me a lot.
Glad it helped!

I got hit one time with the one piece mask and sounds like a train wreck in my ears, For me two pieces all the way
I’m a kid and I have both but for the youth sizes are small for me even with it as loose as possible but right now I’m using a two peace
Safety wise with will absorb more of an impact?
Hockey
2 piece masks will because they have an all metal protective bar around it and ive seen a hockey mask explode before after a foul tip on the forhead
Hockey can deflect better but two peice has more metal
What I have heard is that the two piece reveals the neck a little more so you have to be good at blocking, or you could get hit easier.
not really you have to tuck your chin down either way
When you block, you look down
Or get a throat guard
