That without an sbmm system most new players would get destroyed, have no fun and then leave. The idea you can't tell that you're getting better because the enemies are also better is dumb and would apply to every video game ever. The final boss is always gonna be harder than the tutorial bots.

Yo I know this is mostly a joke, but don't give up bro. If you find the right step you need to take, and you put the time, and effort into improving on it, you will improve. I know it can feel hopeless sometimes, walls can be really discouraging, I've been there, but if improving is really what you're going for, you just gotta keep on going. @@possibly_meta7389 i just play different legends and different load outs. inspired by one of Gaming Merchants recent video on how to deal with the sweaty matchmaking really inspired me to have fun!
The charged rampage can actually destroy doors.
The Lstar can actually collateral enemies as well, in its current care package form.
It also opens doors and is not a marksman or sniper.

Actually the punch to not get the fatigue from falling is still DOABLE
But it is really hard to time it bc u have to be midair crouched and u need a angled surface for it
Best scenario to describe it: u get respawned and fall crouched on a rock and u have to punch the rock in the super small timeframe before touching the ground and than u don’t get the fatigue plus u don’t even lose the speed from falling down and slide suuuuper fast in the opposite direction from the angled surface

You’re close but with heat shields it’s not if you’d take damage it’s as long as the heat shield is touching the ring so even if just a tiny part is hitting the ring you get the boost
if you put yourself in the mindset of constant improvement, WHILE still having fun and not taking it too seriously. you will continue to improve at a steady rate. you stop improving, because you get frustrated and stop having fun. the key is to have fun. not having fun? get off. take a break. play something else. you have options. the point is to give your brain some rest from trying to solve a problem it is struggling to solve. like when you struggle to understand something, and go to sleep, and suddenly when you wake up, it all makes sense. thats where the quote "sleep on it" comes from.

I feel like respawn probably considers a 1 or 2 kill 300 damage game a good game just because you finished top 10. When in reality you drop with one team and then can’t find anyone for 10 minutes, and then get wiped by a sweaty 3 stack lol so you just keep getting put in sweaty games even when you’re getting fried.
It's literally so ass. I have been put into master lobbies for the past week. I count about five predators in that time frame. I can't even play ranked rn because I've reached the level where I'm ass compared to everyone else, so I can't play
Do you think servers should be merged in to regions or sub regions rather than by city, i.e. NA East, NA West, Europe, Asia East, Asia South etc? Some servers feel absolutely dead and others constantly packed, it might make for better match making if the system can pull from a bigger group of players. Hmm, something to ask the Apex Devs at their next Q&A? 😅
Good idea but I don't think during peak times these servers will stand up against the load.
Is there a specific server you think is "dead"? Other than a few, most have the population. If a Q time is taking a while, its due to the new matchmaking.
@@TimProVision Bahrain 1 & 2 is absolutely dead. You can only play ranked or mixtape. duos and trios never fills up

I was really enjoying season 17 but in this season i cant play 1 hour without getting emotional damage from this game its now ×3 times harder
Knew a lot of this stuff but that point on frags bouncing people was new to me. Had no idea that’s how it works.

8:00 I found a spot at the core where if you throw your nade down the ramp going in to the middle then slide down the ramp jump and then the nade explodes and I flew to the enemy at 90000kph and pkd him to the face. May not work if you aint a movement god btw

The only thing I don't agree with is the matchmaking system. It's currently in a bad state. Even when the devs were introducing hidden MMR they said they will keep iterating on it. This is because even they know its not good yet.
Last part is slightly disingenuous. Apex is a live service game, things are always going to be tweaked.
I call bull on the matchmaking thing. I'm still stuck in rookie, and the lobbies aren't getting easier
There’s masters and preds in every rank and I’ve been paired with current diamond players while in silver and gold so I feel this in my soul

I got shot by a full team with 2 heavy and 1 light ammo using guns, and from sprinting, I got slowed to being stationary...so...its ridiculous, but they are probably stacking.
Also, about that matter, the answer I found was that they have no idea :"D.

I played my first game of apex in 2 weeks and got put into a game against a 45k kill wraith. I barely have 10k kills lifetime. Matchmaking does NOT put you with those of your own skill
I think Wattson's tactical recharge could be very slightly reduced. That is all.

Just mentioning the servers's thing. I've been playing apex for a month (Yes I'm new and lvl 53 rn), and I play on the Amsterdam server. But one time I accidentally went to the London server and weirdly enough it was much easier and I even got 5 Victories in one day. Usually I get 3 once in a full moon.

Hmmm I feel like octane needs a buff the stim is cool but I feel like jump pad should take place of the stim and just let him get a stim boost when running a few times per game and give him a bad ass ult all team players get stim boosted and like boosted damage

im calling BS on the nades through doors myth... i got stunned by an arc star that was stuck to a closed door today, granted the door had been kicked once so was fractured, but still id assume the arc shouldn't do damage still right?
it was just bad cause i popped a battery and then got stunned and 1 magged
I don't care what anybody says but bullets slow you down. I've had to many moments were I'm running get shot and my legend stutters, or getting shot while sliding causes a dead slide for me like 99% of the time.
If you play a fortified legend like Gibby or caustic you won't be slowed by bullets. Other legends do get slowed

I was thinking the longest jump in the game is rev off of a jump pad because you get an additional jump
One thing I disagree on is pathfinder catching up to Octane. Only in specific conditions, which are not always available.
I can even catch up as a loba withh er bracelet..... So I think pathy won't have it worse, if he's good🤷♀️

the servers are big problem, you cannot imagine playing game and server is stack and you are playing with minimum 110 ms and also get all types of warning. Because of your countries you are playing with 20ms or less, in 90ms at the best the game hits different imagine at 20ms with no errors.
How do people still think fortified legends move slower? 😂
Because they’re so high off the ground, their terrain is moving across the screen slower, which your brain translates to the character themselves moving slower.

I know they saud they made a matchmakimg change but i stg they never did, i will win a game with like 2 kills and then the next atleast 20 games i play im getting run over by 3 stack preds or a 3 stack team with 45,000+ kills between all 3 of them, sometimes its 45,000 kills just on player alone, i have 1,500 kills with a 1.08 kd and hit diamond 2, 3 times besieds last season i hit masters but i dont count that season it was easy af but like tell me in what world am i close to these peoples skill level?
They like to stop playing for a season or alternate between accounts so that one is alway put in lower ranks so they can feel better about being the douches they are farming the lower ranks
Agreed, I could have 0-200dmg games x25 times in a row then win once with maybe 1.5k dmg and the suddenly my next x25 games are exact same as yours

If it’s charged up then I think it works.
Surprised u didnt include "slide jumping every 3-4 seconds while traversing the map will get you around faster" u can outrun anyone that is just running the whole time with no slide jumps if u are slide jumping often. Ive tested it.

15:27 actually the heat sheild has to be in the ring. Itll still fast rev people in zone if theres a heat shield thats slightly in the ring.

Damn the second you said mirage is in your opinion the worst legend I just had to get in the comments. Gamed the hell out of this game in its early days when there were only 8 legends and mirage was by far my best. Even to this day I’d rank him #2. Gun skills are very important in this game but someone can be twice as skilled as me in gunfights but it doesn’t matter if I have the element of surprise once or even twice in a fight, I will win. Psychological fighting in video games is more powerful in games than just being better, hell that’s why teabagging was invented. That’s my opinion and I have the wins to back it up

@@TimProVision there’s more appealing legends that have easier abilities to use. The playerbase influences the meta and most people play as easier to use legends. For most people, abilities that physically do something for themselves or to an enemy is more convenient to use mid gunfight than an ability that relies on mind games. I’m just saying, people make stupid mistakes under the stress of a late game fight and being able to add a layer of confusion and always being able to get the first shot is huge

Tested this and your wrong certain characters are faster by about a step and some even get slower or faster with heirlooms. Bro I tried this for 5 min and figured it out da fuck
