Beginner rider on Yamaha YZ250 - Flackwell Heath Motopark

Second time going to Flackwell Heath, I'm more confident on the YZ250 and learning jumps now. I'm more aware of what it feels like to ride on off-road. I've also started putting weight on my outside pegs during turns so I don't wash out my back wheel anymore. Overall it was a great day of riding!

I wrote dirt bikes as a kid and early teenager but didn’t get back into it until I was 31 years old.
I bought a 2006 YZ250 with every Bolton you could ever want and that was my first bike on the track. I’m better now but it was certainly humbling getting used to that thing on a proper motocross track

It definitely takes a while to get used to a YZ250 as a first dirtbike! Though I’ve stuck with it for nearly 2 years now and I’m starting to really enjoy it

Great video it's nice to hear your thought process. Flaxwell was my first track in 17 years but I just went full balls out. Only a few jumps I couldn't clear. Keep it up. 🤘

Definitely try standing more, I can't fully tell from the angle but the way you were first hitting the jumps and riding in general , it looked like you could do with standing a little more. Otherwise nice riding!
