“Selling a lot of different product to the same customer” this has been on my mindset lately and you just help me validate that thought. Thank you excited to be starting soon.
I used to listen to your amazing seller podcast religiously and this video showed up in my auto play queue just now. I IMMEDIATELY recognised you voice 😊. Thanks for all the content you’ve created over the years
Hey Scott. Nice job on these videos. I love that they are short, and concise! My wife and I are currently researching options to setup an e-commerce business targeting what we believe to be a small, but profitable consumer niche. My questions relate to your knowledge of the research/tools: 1. Do you know if Everbee (or other) are able to provide volume and net revenue figures (actual or projected) at a category & cat segmemt level? (Not ours, but for example using soap…Total Soap Category, All Bar Soaps, All Bod Wash Soaps). This would help us size the market. 2. Can these tools look at trends? This will help us understand which segments have the most potential for future growth. 3. Is there a tool that can look at cross-purchase data? If I’m able to look deeper at what other things my target buyers also like to purchase, it could give good ideas for cross-promotions or bundles; as well as potential items to consider for my own new product innovation. 4. Any pricing models available to help understand category or item elasticity, critical price points, etc… 5. Any other ideas on ways to use data/consumer insights to identify ways to provide high-impact value propositions to my customers? Thanks very much in advance for any thoughts you ‘re able to share! Again, nice job with the content and delivery. I’ve watched 4 of your videos and have a MUCH better understanding of Etsy in a short amount of time!! 😊
That's AWESOME that you and your wife are doing this together :-) I would recommend watching this full training we did on finding and researching products. ua-cam.com/video/KD3PEMWL_Bw/v-deo.html
Love those 7 POD products you mentioned. But, maybe it's not for me this time because I just started my digital product shop on Etsy last 2 months. It's too early for me to ditch the digital shop. And in my case, I just found my bestselling product type(not a niche) with Everbee tool's free version. So, I'll just continue growing my digital shop with this one proven product type and test it with different niches and see how it goes.
I am in the same position, setting up a digital download shop. didn't think about it being saturated because I didn't want to see that. a digital shop is such a fantasy. create a project once and then make money on it forever.
This video is definitely my sign to get started, just last night I was thinking about what I could sell and I had customizable puzzles and cutting boards in mind, especially now that mothers day is coming around! Thanks for the great ideas. 👍
I avoided POD for years on Etsy, and only stuck with digital products, because I was a bit scared. This year about October, I had a dream that inspired me to just go for it. I decided to start a mug shop and it failed so badly with no sales. Instead of giving up, I thought about it as a test run. So, I did more research, changed up my store brand, and found another product to stick to. I now have about 32 sales across November to December. The product I have, I won't share 😉, but the next products I am definitely interested in trying is puzzles and maybe stickers, too. So, far I'm glad I tried something different from digital. The only tiny issue I have now is Etsy put my cash in reserve, but I am not too worried. 😆
@@alicia_nicoleHi. It is true that Etsy charges you 20 cents per listing I believe. There’s some sort of expiration on it, but you will eventually get charged. As far as eBay goes, I’ve been selling on there and am so frustrated with all the fees. I learned they charge a fee on the tax and shipping, in addition to the price itself, which I feel is a load of crap. So the more your shipping cost is, even though the buyer pays it, the more that comes of your profits. I sold an item for $40, but the shipping was close to $50. After all the fees, I got something like $25. Ugh. And I started at $75, but wanted to dump it, so I lowered the price. What a joke.
@@alicia_nicole The fees kind of suck, but yes there is a fee to post a new listing. $0.20 and there are processing fees, transaction fees and sales tax fees. 😆 But I'm not too worried, I am just trying to test the waters and see what this journey leads to. I invested about 150 bucks of my own money and I put in whatever I earned back into the business. My focus is to build some traffic, good reviews, and get my sales numbers up a bit to get customers to trust buying from my shop and the good thing about it is that it seems to be working so far. I am starting to get sales without ads now....oh! I am a woman by the way lol My UA-cam account is misleading lol 😂

Thankyou. Love your ideas. Good on you. Some beautiful examples too. Anyone know the right p.o.demand companies to approach for these type of products ? Just a small thing...as an Aussie that does not look like a tumbler. Is that a cup or a travel mug??? As far as I understand it, what we know as a tumbler is a glass.
There are different names for things in different places (flip flops comes to mind!) in the US this would be refered to as a tumbler, but if you're selling in Australia...you'd use your local naming.
@@brandcreators Hi. Yes, Im aware of that. Thanks for getting back. It just was a suggestion cause your audience is world wide, and Brits and Aussies dont know what youre referring to. Hey Scott! Glad to see your videos. I am one of you old followers from back in 2016 when you did Amazon FBA, I learned a lot from you and now I can’t wait to learn Etsy from you. God bless you :)
I was selling coffee mugs and it went horribly. I changed my store up and now sell many different products. My problem is the same though. I am not getting enough visitors and no sales yet. I would love to be able to speak to the Brand Creators of this video for some advice.
The shipping cost on those Teelaunch products is horrendous. Anyone who lives in the EU would have to fork over 70 bucks and that is before any profit is added! Both the price of the product and the price of shipping on many of these products need to come down to be viable outside the United States.
Glad I found your video! Question: Usually for beginner like me, hard to find product mockup that looks outstanding. Sometimes mockups that provided by POD services are not great enough. Especially with unique products like you said in the video. Do you have any services / sites that provide it? It's hard for me as well to buy the product first and create bunch of photos by myself as I am live outside US.
You can either create them yourself using Canva with royalty free images or hire a graphic designer on Fiverr or any other graphic service. Hope that helps
Hi Scott, thank you for the informative video. I have a question about POD. I am currently selling printables and looking to add some POD products in my shop, as I think it fits into my niche. However, I wonder if you need to do a sample of all of the POD products you want to sell? Say if I have 50 designs, does it mean I need to get a sample on all 50 designs to test them out first? As that's quite an investment. Do you have any advice? Thanks.
The shipping is so expensive for some products that I would have to sell for example big chopping board for 40$... Would anyone pay that much for chopping board?
your video is the greatest so far but etsy won't aloow the billing process out side some listed countries and also i am a designer my self and i want to put my works in etsy but isadly can't
Scott, I think I asked you this once before, but no reply…what software design tool does your wife use to make her blankets? I have canva and Kittl and Not being a PS person person can make it a long, time consuming process. Pritify said it would probably be best to upload each individual elements onto their editors and design there, but doing a custom one, adding personalization and not having any guide lines is not a good idea for me. I like the frames canva has that allows us to drag and drop an element or photo….and I know I can upload separately or even slide the bar to I tease file size to 3 -but there is so many steps to get one to download properly and ensure everything is straight and cot overlapping (for example if you were creating one that has “squares” all over it with images -you worry that may get cut off and that would be horrible especially if customer gets it and wants it as a keep sake and it’s NOT just a pattern-truly don’t want a boarder either. They said to make sure and cover entire template, but keep everything important inside the dotted small print area! When I spoke with Pic the Gift they actually said their templates aren’t true to size within what’s on Etsy!?! Kittls atboard is not the snake or big enough I have used Photopea to resize I’m design, increased the image size. I finally got how to do it. I know if I would take simple elements it would be easy, but if that’s all I would do I wouldn’t be adding value to try and stand out. To do that I have to have unique elements and personalization and as you said this works with every niche in one o. Anyway, as asked before are you able to design one for largest blanket and maybe give us a few tips I would be soooo grateful!!Also, have you two had any complaints regarding blankets. Ty Scot
I love your videos and you bring a positive vibes each time. But what about the Shipping? For the rest of us, the international users, who don't live in the USA. Do you have any video about the "Shipping to the customers" on these print-On-Demand Platforms? I am still thinking of what to start from all of these. I am a graphic designer with many years experience in my field. But I never sell anything online, I was afraid... But this year due to the Ai art opportunities I want to give it a try. As a beginner, I want to sell only digital downloads or images. To avoid the shipping hassle and responsibilities around it. I would really love to hear your suggestion on this. Can you tell me one website so i can start with? Do you think I would better start with Stock photo sites, to create vectors and illustrations? or with the POD sites? which are the most beginner-Friendly websites for someone to start in the Print-On-Demand field? Zazzle. RedBubble, Amazon Merch, or Etsy?
With these pod shops do you need to have money to pay for the product first because i have heard some say no money to get started and some say have money to get started so which is it. Thanks 😊

If I could give this more than one thumbs up, I would! Thank you for the great ideas and for sharing them with us!
Thanks so much :-)
I was selling coffee mugs and it went horribly. I changed my store up and now sell many different products. My problem is the same though. I am not getting enough visitors and no sales yet. I would love to be able to speak to the Brand Creators of this video for some advice.
Okay, what shop sells these for pod? I only have Printful so far. And a shop on RB.
Printify and TeeLaunch has them
One of the products was Yard Signs. Where or who offers ones for POD?
Printify does and I'm sure there's others. Just do a search for POD yard signs
The shipping cost on those Teelaunch products is horrendous. Anyone who lives in the EU would have to fork over 70 bucks and that is before any profit is added!
Both the price of the product and the price of shipping on many of these products need to come down to be viable outside the United States.
I wish POD UA-camrs would stop referring to pay out cash (after platform fees) as "Profit". It is NOT profit, it is your Turnover.
Hi Brand, would you be able to tell me what platform is best to integrate with the Etsy shop? which one do you use personally?
we use Printify and Teelaunch for POD right now.
Awesome information! Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Can u connect this to ur etsy acct?
Glad I found your video!
Question: Usually for beginner like me, hard to find product mockup that looks outstanding. Sometimes mockups that provided by POD services are not great enough. Especially with unique products like you said in the video. Do you have any services / sites that provide it? It's hard for me as well to buy the product first and create bunch of photos by myself as I am live outside US.
You can either create them yourself using Canva with royalty free images or hire a graphic designer on Fiverr or any other graphic service. Hope that helps
Etsy sells mock-ups of all kinds, I get them there
I love your video information. It’s definitely amazing. May I ask what is your Etsy shop
thanks for the great info. appreciate it.
Great video and thanks for the ideas; thinking of doing some things. But do I have to use etsy to sell them?
@brandcreators You didn't mention where to POD Blankets and Garden Flags! Where can I POD those?
Amazing video, I never thought about puzzles and the cutting board. Great ideas, and thank you for showing the websites to use too.
This video is about time. I have seen tons of videos about digital products but the market is saturated enough now. Thanks for the ideas
Thanks.
You don't have to get samples, but you do want to look at reviews from suppliers on Printify or whatever supplier you're using.
Hello, which POD company do you use to print all of this?
Printify and TeeLaunch
@@brandcreators
Is the quality nice? thanks!
@@henridusasca8077 When using these companies you are actually being connected to other POD companies, but the ones we have used have been GREAT!
These products are very interesting, I had no idea that we could sell these products through POD. Thank you for this video!

Is there any list of the POD webpages for each product?
We use Printify and their catalog. I'm not sure if that answered your question.
I really like the way you think outsidenthe box., ☺️ ☺️ ☺️
Could you tell us what stores sell each products?
Thank you Sir. A lot of Avenue opened for new people in the jungle like me. Appreciate this. Will definitely try and let you know the results!!!
Great info.!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I hear you I am on Etsy. Time to add something new 🥰.
Thanks Dude i'm watching from morocco thanks a lot please in this 7 POD products is no one digital ?
The shipping is so expensive for some products that I would have to sell for example big chopping board for 40$... Would anyone pay that much for chopping board?
your video is the greatest so far but etsy won't aloow the billing process out side some listed countries and also i am a designer my self and i want to put my works in etsy but isadly can't
Where do you get the metal signs and cutting boards? They are not mentioned in the video and I would like to add these to my store. Thank You
@ 10:04 in the video he talks about Teelaunch it shows cutting boards but he mentions the signs also. I hope this helps.
Metal signs and cutting boards from Teelaunch. Hope that helps
@@brandcreators Thank you!
Ty Scot
No we haven't had many (if any complaints) about blankets. She does virtually all of her design work with Canva!
I have been considering the puzzle thing, it's just I am hesitating because I don't know how to market it
If you know how to talk with ChatGPT and are somewhat capable at digital design, the examples you mentioned will take very little effort.
Zazzle. RedBubble, Amazon Merch, or Etsy?
thank you
how you can change the names and make it costum but stiil make it passive as posibell ?
Hello do you know a POD site that has all of them in one place instead of having multiple sites all over the place
Not that I know of, but usually you'll find that you'll use just a few.
With these pod shops do you need to have money to pay for the product first because i have heard some say no money to get started and some say have money to get started so which is it. Thanks 😊
No money to start. You only pay when the product sells. But, Printify does have a pro membership where you get a better price on the items you sell.
@@brandcreators thanks so much brand
What are some of the companies that make print on demand metal signs?
wow, great video. thank you very much.
Thses stuff can be digitally sold?
you're amazing! so glad I found your site!
