Side switching and fireball links are pretty standard for Nanase. Honestly she's pretty thoroughly routed. I'm usually blown away by these videos but this one of very few where I've consistently felt most of it isn't that hard - and it's not a knock against the combos. Nanase is just really easy to play, and once you understand her combo theory there isn't as much room for variation as a lot of other characters. But yeah there are definitely a few combos in here where I was surprised that he managed to hit confirm and was thoroughly impressed.

That moment when you've started Guilty Gear Strive for 2 days but Xiao release a combo vid with your unicl-r main... Did i just waste my money on Strive ? I don't feel like playing it anymore xd
It gets easier after doing this for a while. You can use a route in the combo trials for reference and try to switch moves in there. After trimming down your options you'd likely find something better than the original or something you prefer.
@@mtchillin4163 His advice is especially true of UNI. The combo trials do an AMAZING job of teaching you the combo theory for most characters. The more you learn, the more the pieces start to fit, and the more times you'll start to think "does this combo? Can I link x into y?" It's a matter of practice AND intuition, but your intuition will be furthered by practice. Hit the grind and you'll figure it out.
Never have played this game, never will till it gets rollback, but damn Xiao I can just feel you doin some crazy ass tech and Kara and like .5 frame links so I still gotta like, will you make some strive videos in the future?

I plan to give Strive another try maybe after a few major patches.
