【UNICL-R】 Vatista combo video (バティスタ·コンボ)

Making a combo video for Vatista is my fighting-game-related goal of this year and I am happy it is accomplished. I didn't refer to any other Vatista content, outside of the sequence on Seth which I learned from @Ral_0ne ( / ral_0ne ). This is my own attempt to see how much I could figure out using only the combo trials for guidance. I do not know UNI well enough yet to optimize things, but I do enjoy fiddling with it from time to time.
I wanted to show the virtual stick so I used OBS Studio for capture. Unfortunately it is a bit taxing for my crappy computer and caused some frame drop here and there. My button layout is:

Unfortunately, The online connection is horrendously inconsistent, so all we can do is hope for tournaments.

The fact that I grind combos in this game and get nothing this close is like, breaking me
I ground DBFZ combos for quite a while. I'm sure anyone with enough effort can get to where they aim for.

This is pretty amazing for not referring to any Vatista combo docs or guides!
In general for uniclr since they gave vat that new 2BBB move, you use that for ending the combo instead of ending in drill cause the yoyo vacuum's them in for some of the best oki in the game.

Poor Seth eating infinite pressure. I really like the layout with the stick in the corner, though it makes me anxious thinking about the focus it takes to get all of these charge inputs consecutively.
It becomes choreography after some familiarization. Less intuitive at the beginning but it helps a lot by imagining how the inputs need to the chained after one another in order for a combo to be possible, prior to actually doing it.

This is great, and this was even primarily just using the game itself to learn the ideas for them, too. I didn't know that you could use her stance to quick charge her mines like you did in that last combo.

Nice combos man! Would love to see what you can do with Eltnum but I know how difficult it is to make these videos so I understand if not

But I don't think I'll make a video for her now because I've watched quite a bit of her gameplay footage. It took away the joy of figuring things out myself.

She might be the only character I know at the moment. Started the game with Eltnum but I really haven't played much of it ever since. So yea, even if I'd want to make another video, it'll take a while for me to learn too

I don't even have plans for DBFZ, so yea I don't have any for UNI either... I was thinking maybe make one for Enkidu because I really like his theme, but so far I only have three recorded and it's been a while...

I don't know how you choose the chars you're gonna do a cmv on, if it's by "design" or combo possibilities.

@@danielwappner1035 There's like Mature in KOFXIII who could pile up that hit counter easily with her rekkas. There's Jack-O' in GGXrd who could barrage you in the corner with a bunch of normals and her summoned quad but for 1 hp per hit in the entire second half of such a combo...

How do you do the triangulum thing?
After exploding three crystals and upon exploding the third, release another crystal, and that release would become a Triangulum.

Yea playing different games and character types does help. Coincidentally I did a Venom video last year, who is a charge character, and that video was my FG-related goal for last year.
I loved that video, Venom definitely looked like he helped and had inspiration in this one too
