Man, you deserve to be more popular, honestly, cheers
I was born and raised in the south I’ve been told by MULTIPLE of people that I have a very northern accent like and that I’m not from here and I never could really believe them tell I heard this and sounded the vowels of each word and I realized I DO produce the “ah” sound with the “u” sound when I sound out words like “could” “would” and the phrase “shut the front door love.”
"Sound almost like a native"

Hey Matt: do you do voice overs? I have a job you'd be perfect for.
I was just wondering where the word "sarnie" comes from and the online dictionary said it might have come from the northern dialect or pronunciation of the word "sandwhich". I'm just wondering how you get from "sand" to "sarn" via a northern accent.
Interestingly, I rarely use the word, 'Sarnie', the word, 'Buttie' is far more common in many Northern regions. PS. The correct spelling is, 'sandwich' :-)
