Hi man, I have problem with right front low arm as the ball doesnt have so much free movement as the left one. So in the end the servo has troubles to return back to zero position and therefor its impossible to balance steering. But I have problem to remove the ball from plastic arm, Im affraid I will break it. Is there some trick how to remove it from the arm undamaged? THX
I wondered if the control arm would break too, but it hasn't happened to me yet. The best way that I have found is to use a pair of needle nose pliers to grab the pivot ball and then rotate the pliers against the control arm for leverage. When you rotate the pliers over, the pivot ball should pop out of the socket in the control arm. There is also a pivot ball/shock multitool available at a lot of RC hobby stores that would work for this too. You can also use a socket that is a slightly smaller diameter than the socket hole and tap on the socket over the pivot ball until it pops out. Good Luck!
Thanks for answer, I tried maybe every piece of my equipment 😅 just kid'ng. Finally I had to put french pliers under the lower arm, setup hole bigger than ball and used hammer to get it out throught the pliers. It held there as hell. 😂 but its out now...
