Wa'alaikum Salam, Al'hamdulilah. Me too, I reverted since 1989 and yes is true to learn the Arabic, so that we can read the Qur'an with understanding. Right now, I'm taking the Arabiya basic course. InsyaAllah, one day we can speak and understand the Qur'an.
Good.. Dont let know direct meaning of quran by learning arabic language. We cant understand the quran direct, we should try to learn from thafseer quran and from usthad. Quran is Kalam allah..

I just want to say that the efforts and the attention you are putting in to teach are praiseworthy! I am trying to learn Arabic too and this is very engaging to me, even though I am not a part of your class.
What do you mean when you say " I'm not of your clasd?"
🔴 I'm an Arab and very proficient in both my languages, as I'm a teacher of two languages: English in the American dialect and Standard Arabic. UA-cam suggested this video to me, and although I didn't know this teacher previously, I followed his teaching method, which seems excellent. It's great that the number of students, especially on Zoom, is limited to 5 people, so everyone can participate and ask the teacher questions. ✅
- However, I'd add a simple thing: every teacher should interact with students, inject humor or fun into the lesson to engage students more and make them benefit more from the lesson. This way, students will develop a deeper love for the language and immerse themselves in it. I've been following this approach for years. I've been teaching for 17 years, and I still teach both English in the American dialect and Standard Arabic, thanks to Allah. ✅

Akhi, please advise. Which dialect of Arabic is it best to learn after the Fusha? Is it Egyptian? They say that learning fusha is great but many Arabs don't speak it😢.
