I have been following them since the trap house days. And this absolutely broke me! I used to have a different opinion of Elton but now it makes sense knowing what happens BTS. I have never in my life seen a creator be so honest to let the people know the truth about not only what happens behind the scenes, but finances, and everything else involved. I 100% believe and respect Elton for doing this. It shows Corey was just acting like a friend and was in on it all for the wrong reasons.

Like you had said, I know Corey, Sam & Colby, Aaron, and Elton from vine. I've, like many others, were witnesses to all different eras for all of them. Corey leaving S&C because he didn't want to do ghost/paranormal stuff anymore, to him making paranormal content and other stuff with Aaron only to say once again he wasn't going to ghost/paranormal stuff anymore, to him doing paranormal based content with Elton was already such a wild ride to have witnessed. There's not just two sides to every story, but rather multiple different perspectives. It's one biased opinion of Corey's verses factual based evidence of Elton's, with fan based perspectives, and their friends whether as ex.friends or whatever perspectives that all tie everything in. As viewers, we may never hear the full story as some things, most def for legal reasons, should not be brought up. We also need to realize that there's multiple perspectives to just one single person. How you present yourself infront of your family, is not how you would in front of friends and vice versa. Same can be said with how you behave in a professional setting compared to a normal setting with friends or partner. I had rather recently, 2 to 3 years ago, started viewing Elton as a pushover and viewing Corey as someone who was using Elton as his own personal doormat to dispose of whenever. And that's just my own personal persepctive as someone who was been with them, as a viewer, for a long time frame.

The "proof" of how much elton paid him was only $61k - he had it cropped, he only showed the amount but no other info whether it was for the whole year or not. 3. If corey really wanted to quit so dking bad, why didnt he? Why did it take him 2yrs? He said he stayed because of us.. and then he says again he quitted because of us.. 4. He started talking about when he got sick during the livestream for the fundraising .. like elton just said, he knew this was being planned for 2 months, he needed to stay committed to it and he knows that, if he did indeed felt sick and was committed to what he is doing, like elton said, your first thought is to have a medicine.. but corey just talked about how everyone saw him eating and completely dodged the fact that he really couldve just had a medicine first.. 5. Corey says he is being paid a day rate to do his job and finishes his job - no he didnt, he leaves 2hrs early alot of time apparently.. 6. He also said last year elton said something that hurt him and he didnt see him anymore as a bestfriend.. -okay, to me honestly.. why didnt he say what elton said? If elton was so blunt about everything that corey did, why did corey not say what elton said to pursue us more to believe him? Is it because he knows he cant prove it or because there really was none of that? 7. If corey really is in the right.. wouldnt his first step be suing elton for defaming him? Instead he's making a tiktok just saying not true to all that elton said 😐 8. He is also saying alot that elton said this and that and " elton texted me 2 yrs ago from the gym that i dont deserve the merch anymore" -mkay, i personally wouldve went through the messages again JUST to prove to everyone elton said that, but he didnt.. its all he said he said.. I believe there is no right side of this all I saw from Elton he was just bashing. I think he is just upset for his friend leaving and Corey has every right to leave as a free person I mean he left Sam and Colby but he was just there as a support as his friends. Now he just wants to do his own things. And he is getting bashed for it. Hopefully Elton can chill and Corey can continue his channel in peace. And maybe just maybe friendship can happen again. They started this together I’ve been watching them for years even Jake left Sam and Colby to do his own thing. Elton says not to spread hate but he hated on Corey on his own video so he started this mess. I will still support all UA-camrs like I have been for years but there is a better way to settle this and it’s just not happening 😢😢😢

Elton didn’t bash anyone though. He presented his side of the situation and has the evidence to back up his claims and is willing to go to court over this. I don’t think he would just randomly do that knowing it could ruin his career and everyone that works for him either. There was no hate towards Corey, at all. Elton felt betrayed and expressed that. While I agree that this maybe could have been handled better, Corey also didn’t leave room for that option when he chose to leave the way he did. Corey didn’t even bother to explain himself to anyone until Elton was obliged to make his video in the first place. Corey can leave as a free person, but Corey also started getting low and started rumors that weren’t true and talking behind Elton’s back. He accused the whole overnight team of abuse and not being paid. Those are HUGE accusations to make against multiple people, and we all know Elton may be a smartass and can push people to do things they’re a little uncomfortable doing, but he’s not abusive. Elton also has all the pay on documents and can prove that Corey was in fact paid more than he made it seem. Every person on overnight made an agreement on that channel to what they were being subjected to, what the plan was, and Corey kept backing out, yet he was still paid for it. He was “too depressed” to ghost hunt anymore, but he turned right around and is now doing the SAME THING with his girlfriend. I’m sorry, but Elton keeps getting shit for the past, present and future, but no one seems to want to hold Corey responsible for his part in all of this either. It’s ridiculous to me. Corey isn’t innocent in this and that needs to be acknowledged.

And sorry for late reply it’s been a busy week I’ve not seen any further updates yet I spent like 2 hours trying to figure out what was going on and listening to both sides of the story. It’s just weird how Elton waited 7 months Corey hasn’t sad anything bad on his channel before Elton made a hour long video. His girlfriend probably suggested he kept doing ghost hunting which shows he is pointing out places and saying “hey let’s go here” Corey also showed proof of income through his tax information. Elton claimed he made more but didn’t show. On his side. The only thing Elton showed is waving papers that looked like a script so instead of planning his wedding that is coming up he wants to make a lawsuit and his peace treaty is going to be a live somewhere instead of facing it out themselves since they live 3 minutes away. It just feels like a more severe situation then Jake Webber and Johnnie Gilbert they break up on twitter like once a month for click bait views Corey’s account as well as Elton has gained a lot since this happened. So I don’t know. It’s starting to feel like “hey we’re still best friends just raising money or views for our channels.” Which is why I love Sam and Colby they do this as a team and they don’t break up weekly or on a monthly bases.
