    I only like to use thread conditioner because there's much fewer knots to deal with when using long lengths, which I prefer to do than adding thread. I almost always start my pieces in the middle of a very long length of thread, and then pick up the other half of the thread working in the opposite direction to finish my piece, or I'll use it to embellish. But I found that thread conditioners, including wax, can block up the holes of seed beads quickly - even on shorter thread lengths, but especially on projects like this where I need to go through them so many times, leading to broken beads when even a sz22 needle no longer fits through. I rather like to fill my holes with thread by reinforcing as many times as I can, even where not necessary because it not only gives strength to my work, but it pulls wayward beads in and makes it tight, and gives it more substance and longevity to my pieces. But it's harder to do that when using thread conditioner. I've also found that it can 'clump' on the thread after it's been through the beads a few times, so it definitely pays to have an extremely clean floor when using long lengths of thread as the conditioner attracts dust and fibres - particularly when working on carpeted floors. But I keep the beading room spotless, and always vacuum and mop my beading room floor between each and every project, and sometimes in the middle of one. Just my opinion on thread conditioners and wax.

    I absolutely love this whole collection! Thank you so much for bringing it to us - I know I’m not the only one who tells you how amazing your talent is and how thankful I am for you sharing your beautiful designs with us. But I wanted to tell you, and I think I’ve told you this before, that I became disabled 6 years ago and was forced to retire from teaching. Lately, I’ve been having a harder time with staying positive but your channel really inspires me and making your designs (and watching your channel) really help me to feel better. I can’t thank you enough for that and I’m hopeful that sharing this will help you to realize how much more your channel is then “just beading videos.” I’m sure I’m not the only one who looks forward to seeing what you create, but also to hear your wonderful instructions and enjoy your stories and when you share your experiences with us. I just wanted you to know how much you and your channel mean to me. 💜

    You are amazing, Stephanie! Another great bracelet and tutorial.
    I was trying NOT to make another bracelet, no place to wear, retirement with COVID on top. However I couldn’t resist all this beauty and collecting ingredients.
    I think it’s one of the most successful of your designers., not that the others aren’t. Every time I open Facebook, somebody else made it.

    I love this. I have gotten myself a recipe box with recipe cards to put name of your design, date and ingredients (materials). Then I have everything together when ready. I decided that I need better organization. This really has helped me to see what I have/need.
    This has helped me so much!

    Every time I think I've bought enough beads to do one of your beautiful projects I'm always missing something. I thought I had the right pearls but I have 6mm. Also Potomac Beads is always out of stock on most things I need. Sad... This is beautiful! I love what you do!

    As always, a fantastic clear and fun Tutorial. I do find, as others have mentioned, that finding beads in stock is a real challenge. I now add some basics to every order (gold and silver Miyuki 11/0, 3 and 4 mm pearls and bicones etc) to every order. I ran out of white pearl Miyuki 11/0 a while ago mid project and found them on Amazon...a surprise! seem to be the real thing and worked perfectly. And I do find myself shopping from 3-4 different places to get what I need for a project...and I hate not being able to see the colors to coordinate. No bead shops within 150 miles that carry seed beads of quality. But thanks to you Stephanie I have created some gorgeous pieces....and enjoy your soothing voice and clear directions.

      Thank you so much 😊🙏💝 I try to limit my suggestions of where to purchase the supplies for my tutorials to two websites (so you have a choice). There has been a high demand for crystals to replace Swarovski, so I think that is the problem. I’m sure it will get better as time goes on and the bead websites can get enough stock .

    Hi Stephanie, Naturally I also love this bracelet set. I couldn't wait to get some chatons. I tried to read all the comments but didn't find anyone else commenting that it absolutely necessary to use Miyuki 11s and 15s. So I struggled and struggled using tohos, and now that I'm using the Miyuki, the bracelet and rings are absolutely perfect. And because they are coming out perfectly, it's more fun, too. thanks to you!

Only thing that will Be missing is hearing your voice because part of the reason why you’re such an amazing teacher is how your love for beading and your viewers can be heard as you speak.Audiobook? This design is gorgeous, love it! Because Swarovski crystals will one day be scarce, I think I will use Chinese crystals or Czech glass (whichever I have ) for the bicones that get covered up with the Chaton. Excited to give this one a try!

  • @jazz2012
    @jazz2012 3 роки тому

    Swarovski and Preciosa crystal beads are smooth near the hole, meaning they are not abrasive and will not break Fireline unless they are chipped by the hole. Cheaper Chinese or other bicones are rougher and thinner around the hole and can be very abrasive. These beads are more likely to cut through any thread. I have used the black Fireline satin and as a tight beader I have had to stop using it as I can break it. After my first breakage I carried on as before but after I had broken it 7 times in one piece I used it carefully which resulted in loose beading. I did make a CRAW bangle with Fireline satin and I broke it putting it on. Maybe I had a duff reel but I am afraid to take the chance. I am making this bracelet now, it's flipping gorgeous 😊

    Gina. I get most of my Beading materials from Aliexpress. They are cheap but delivery I'd quite slow to the UK so if your not in rush you can find just about everything including the cabochons I saw that you has to buy from Etsy on another of your tutorials. They do some very pretty clasps too for that quality piece. On a lot of the items you can get free or combined shipping. Just a thought. You may get them quicker In the US. I have seen posts where they have arrived in the US in 2 weeks. If you haven't already take a look.

    Very beautiful!!! Question: why not substitute druks or fire polished beeds and seed beads to go underneath the chatons to save money? It seems like a waste to use 56 Swarovski bicones that will not be seen. If bicones are necessary, I will most likely use some other kind that will coordinate, of course. I am not cheap, but since Swarovski is difficult to find, quantities are limited. Just an idea 😅😊

    I have to ask this question. I’ve watched all the Anne videos. I want to make some of the pieces but I have a concern. I cannot seem to sew with bugle beads. Everything I make with them breaks along the bugle bead. Can I substitute seed beads for the bugle? If I can, what size do I use and how many of that size do I use? An example will a size 15 work with 4 size 15 beads substituted for the bugle? As I said, that is an example not actuality. Please help me. I have not as yet purchased any bugle beads. I gave away all my bugle beads years ago because of my stitching problem. Thank you your help, hoping you can help!!!’

      I put links in the description box under the video to bead websites that have the beads. You can find most of the supplies at these sites. I purposely do this so you can order everything from one or two websites 😀

    I've made many of your designs and they've come out perfectly, but for some reason, I can't seem to capture the swarovski 8mm chatons in this bezel. They were fine in the bezel for the queen Anne bracelet, but want to keep tipping and wanting to come out of this bezel. What am I doing wrong?

      This bracelet is made using the same unit as the crystal Anne bracelet so I’m not sure why you are having a problem? Message a picture to Bronzepony Facebook page and I’ll take a look. Make it a real clear close up of the bezel. .

    Can you do this with rivolis? Would I need to change any steps?

    Love Love your tutorials. Which seed beads do you prefer using? I find some brands the size of the beads vary. They could be thicker, thinner, etc.

      Thank you so much 😊 I used Miyuki seed beads for this project. Try to use the brand I list in the materials list under the video for best results.

    May I ask, what you did with your other threads ? The ones with the stop beds. I have threads every where. But I. Noticing yours are gone when doing the sample ☺️Thank you for this lovely design. I’m loving it. Starting to bezelnig now. Just attached all the units threads threads thread everywhere😳

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому

      You should have two threads per unit. You’ll use one for the bezel and one to sew the units together as I do in the video. Any thread left should be sewn in and tied off 🌸

    Hi Stephanie, I would like to ask if there is any way to salvage a project where you added new thread, snip off the old one and realised that you missed or added a wrong bead? Thank you

    • @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry
      @BronzeponyBeadedJewelry  3 роки тому

      Maybe! You could take out the new part and carefully take out enough of the original piece to get a long enough thread to sew in and add your next thread.
