I feel like I started watching jazza when he was a starving artist and now he's rich or close to it and I'm thrilled for his journey every artist should be able to make a living from their passion humans do their best work when they're free to explore their passions and work for themselves than working for someone else at a job they can't stand
I hopped on later (been subbed to Shad for longer, subbed to Tabletop Time since back when that original sci-fi campaign was being run, then it got resurrected), but having gone through a decent amount of his older content, I can see why it would feel that way.
Ya know now that I think about it, Jazza going for a huge sculpture might not be as backwards as you’d immediately assume. It’s really the tiny details that are a bitch with chainsaw art. They’re meant to cut huge portions of wood apart not be precision tools. You’d have to ask a chainsaw expert lol
Happy early birthday Mrs. Jazza. I love your videos. No real clickbait where you see the beginning and end and never the middle. So when people try to do it, they give up because they think this is instantaneous and don't meet their expectations. Your enthusiasm is contagious.
Its so cool how Jazza isn't afraid to work hard and try new things! He puts so much time and enery to entertain all the while having fun😁😂 Thank you Jazza!🤩
As a former forest and logging museum director I say kudos for getting professional assistance, and paying attention to direction, especially in changing blades. The trick to standing the sculpture easily upright would be to dig out and bevel a little space on the ground in which it would sit. Always keep safety in mind on your farm and enjoy the fresh air! Happy birthday to the Mrs!
I live super close to a couple chain saw sculptors and frequently find their art deep into hikes or trails. It's always exciting and amazing to come across the pieces. There's also a local chainsaw art festival, so we get to see pieces from lots of different artists there and scattered throughout the local areas in people's yards or porches it's an art form I'd never touch and greatly admire.
Mrs. Jazza is always grinning and nodding her head in acceptance when her husband comes up with his creative endeavors.😂 Have a wonderful birthday Kate (you’re doing a great job babysitting Jazza)!!
The twilight and water scenes are classic! Stitches Jazza, you have me in Stitches yet again. BTW does your wife need to worry about your growing bromance with Elijah? That glint in your eyes was beautiful to be part of. 😍 Can't wait for part two. I do hope you manage to get a horse out of that huge peice of wood, that's shrinking by the minute. I have faith in your skills with kinesthetic learning and hopefully your local log sculpter pro gives you the tips uou need to get to the finish line 😉 P.S. I love your "adds". I actually don't mind listening about products you promote, especially since they are decent quality and useful. Cheers Jazza, shimmer on. And congratulations on your new land. 👏
When I have seen chainsaw artists in person they have had a full table with multiple sizes of chainsaws plus other fine-tuning wood shaping tools. So they regularly changed tools during the process. The one time I saw an artist do everything with only one saw it was much larger and more powerful because it was gas-powered. Using a smaller, battery-powered chainsaw made this project a lot more difficult so kudos to you for the struggle. 🙂👍
Always love your dabble then do approach to art. I think too many people see a finished product, done by an artist who has worked with a medium and/or process for an extensive amount of time, and try to emulate it with their first attempt essentially failing to meet their expectations. Thus, they give up entirely out of frustration. Your videos really reinforce that one needs to learn and understand the process and limitations of the medium they are working in, then do some trial and error testing before taking on the real deal. Love your content and can’t wait for part two.
I just wanted to say, thank you for being willing to ask for help. It's a great influence on your audience that you don't need to keep bashing your head against a brick wall and asking for help is not a sign of weakness but a way to achieve more. Asking for help is important, especially amongst male Aussie culture where they tend to embrace a fair bit of toxicity, even if that gets in the way of what they want. "You can't do everything on the first try? What are you, a wuss?" It's silly to say the least, downright damaging at times, and especially when doing potentially dangerous things like working with huge heavy items, heavy machinery and chainsaws, some help should be sought.
yes! the collaborations with local artisans are great! first, pottery and now wood sculpting! i love how you show you can still learn new things even if you've already mastered a certain art style or medium; you don't stop there and you open yourself up to learning! it's the same with life in general, there's always something new to learn! happy birthday to mrs. jazza as well!
Two things I could do with from this video…a tractor, and a Jazza to chainsaw wood! :) I am really looking forward to part two of this, and Happy Birthday to Kate!

You can easily salvage the short face by modeling it after a przewalski's horse, Jazza! Super worth looking into the history of the breed as well; really heartwarming stuff! Would probably make for a really good message and story for the part two!!

Was at a Van Gogh exhibit this weekend and saw this quote “What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?” Definitely wondered why Jazza hasn't quoted that in every Art Challenge/new medium video ever.

I love when Missus Jazza is on cammera. She's so charming and makes everything look a little more cute specially in regards to the way they both look at eachother.
The landscape is beautiful jazza ‼️❤️
Can’t wait to see part two!!
Well played bud. Awesome project, looking forward to part 2.
Lol! The sparkly vampire reference! So hilarious! OMG 🤣😂 This project is awesome. 👍
I would love to see how it turns out!! What a great birthday gift😄
I often over or under estimate the time a project will take, too. 🤨
I really enjoyed this video, and your sculpture is looking great, I'm looking forward to part 2. 😊👍
✌
This is the only video I have watched in weeks without getting bored whatsoever. In fact I am disappointed it isn't longer.
I fully expect to see jazza doing full on blacksmithing projects and welding projects within the next year.
Who else wants to see that?
This is was amazingly different!! Looking forward to the next part!
Was at a Van Gogh exhibit this weekend and saw this quote “What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?” Definitely wondered why Jazza hasn't quoted that in every Art Challenge/new medium video ever.
Congrats on moving to the country! Sounds like a real positive change for you and your little family =)
Great effort on the sculpture so far! I look forward to part 2 whenever it comes =)
I like this enviornment a lot more than the usual backgrounds you have in your videos
