As someone who does cosplay work, the process for painting minis and props is VERY similar. Pretty much just don't need to do lighting painting. I also support grime for props as it really brings them to a whole new level. Personally I actually use old pastels to add grime to my props. It's like actually rubbing dirt on them xD
OMG!! I love your conversions and adapted your death cultists for my resurrected chaos army, I replaced the lower jaw of the skulls with tentacles so it mimicked an undead cthulhu
Imagine this: You're an australian robber. You just trekked through the wilderness, evading the critters that showed up at every turn, finally made it into the house. You take a deep breath... and then you hear mad laughter behind your back. You turn around. And are face to face with a pyjama-wearing madman brandishing this thing.
I love how you turned the printing accident into a part of the claw. The stuffed teddy bear being the inside of the glove worked brilliantly and the fact that you have the small bear logo visible is awesome. There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
@@Thefix12_ I have, they aren’t great, but they work. Sound quality isn’t great, battery is average but they’re good enough, I’d prefer if they were only $40 but still. Not buying again:

Challenge: Print one with functioning joints, and rig an internal system that allows you to move each digit with your own fingers. I have ideas, but let’s see what you come up with.
Not exactly a challenge, probably easier to do than this horror show. Many of its components can be individually printed with little use of annoying support structures including the palm and wrist. Just cut the wrist portion in half and glue it together afterwards. Work smarter, not harder.
I have seen this before, pretty soon we are going have an entire playlist of Jazza building a custom life-size Space Bear Armor. Then Proceeding to deck the entire team to create a full squad. It'll be madness! And I for one cannot wait for it to come to fruition! It's going to be awesome!
I would love to see someone redo this but actually make it functional where you can move the individual claws as well as plan ahead of time to allow the inside of it to be furnished much better so it wouldn't do harm to the physical person's hand when in use 🤔
The fact that some of the grit and grime wash got on the fabric of the teddy bear actually makes the lining look more like real fur, and if you did some more detailing you could probably pretty convincingly make it look like actual bear fur.
I’m actually impressed with how… what’s the words… supportive, and willing to work with you on your projects, puppets war is. They’ve been an incredible company.

This is a great video. I love the paint job on the final, it is great to see mini techniques applied to a larger project. The biggest shock of this video though, is that you can get a high res (6k) resin 3d printer for $599. it says limited time to Nov 15, but they're still available at that price, and they actually have a smaller model available for $269 (4k), and also a 4k printer of that size for $429. That's amazing! I looked at resin printers a couple of years ago and thought I'd never be able to get one as they were $3k+ for an entry level model. To have that quality of printing available at a $600 price point is incredible.
This is incredible and it just makes me wish for Jazza to slowly but surely just create a cosplay of his own space bear. Perhaps him looking like an Initiate of his own creation, with a big fur collar, the shield, the claw, and a big old chain! ITS WINTER AFTERALL COME ON !
You know what would make this go to the next level is usability, twisting of the wrist and fingers/claws move. I'm always surprised by the finished project
my process for cleaning up 3d prints to remove 100% of layer lines: sand with 80 grit on palm sander, this will melt some of the layer lines together and remove imperfections if there are any, don't hold the palm sander in one spot for too long otherwise you will melt it too much. after that go over with a higher grit to remove the roughness left from the 80 grit. after that spray filler primer, sand down and then spray again and sand again until you have no more layer lines
watching this video makes me happy, because as silly it is at some point, i'm just happy for him. he genuinely loves his job, and is having fun, and i just find this heartwarming. Keep it up Jazza, hope you the best :)
To be fair he did as for it to just have a hole in the back. I'm sure if he wants to make a version two, would be needed for parts if he decides to make an entire armor, articulation points and connectors could be added into the model.
