Disagree completely, there is zero cure for ALS, if the writers don’t do it justice and let it play out in a realistic way, its a total insult to those who are actually going through this disease. Miracle cures don’t work, or exist, the real ALS patients.
Great episode Mo, did Gregory mention that he played a man with ALS on Touched By An Angel? By far one of his best roles ever.
Gregory one of the best natural talent, actors there are.
Bravo to GH for taking on this ALS storyline. You are educating so many people on what ALS is and what it does to the body. I also hope that Gregory, who first saw as a guest star on MASH, wins the Emmy, although that will be tough since Jeff Kober is also likely to get a nomination again, too. GH actors are so talented.

My dad has had ALS for 16 years we take care of him at home its a devastating disease im so glad GH is bringing light to it
I remember as a kid watching Gregory Harrison on Touched by an Angel 2 episodes. But the one that stuck out to me the most was episode his character had ALS. Now it is a full circle & he now playing a character Gregory on GH who has ALS. I hope he won a Emmy. He so deserved. Maurice, thank you for this podcast episode with Gregory Harrison. I couldn’t wait to watch it. 🥰

Me either. I was a kid, but he was also eye candy and still is.
But he makes you believe every character he ever plays.
I think GH is under utilizing his talent.
Personally I would have love seeing him as a crime boss or some unsavory character we would hate but love his acting chops in it.

GH has had so many illnesses, cancer,aids everything! Its amazing how its portrayed love it ! Love ya ! 🥰
I love him! I was 8 when Falcon Crest ended. I believe my mother would watch that show. She would watch Dynasty, Dallas, Falcon Crest, Thorn Birds, The Streets of San Francisco, etc. Those were the days of great television. So, I've been rewatching Falcon Crest, and I swear Maurice, when "Michael Sharp" came on the screen, one person popped into my head....Sonny! I was like, "Holy crap, he's Sonny!" The look, mannerisms, behavior, motives, etc. were very "Sonny", but like Sonny of the Karen days and The Paradise Lounge. Gregory is a fantastic actor and a remarkable human being. He has been through so much, and has kept his humanity, patience, and grace intact. Such an amazing human being. General Hospital is very lucky to have him. And we are very lucky to be able to watch him perform.
I cry with every episode I watch, but today was the most I have cried. You both are amazing men. I learned so much from today. Wishing you both the best. Keep up the great work. Love and hugs.

I still remember it vividly. I absolutely fell in love with Gregory Harrison when he did a TV movie called "Picnic." Based on the play - he was so sexy., mischievous, mysterious. He was wonderful. He's a very good actor.- Underrated!!
This is a great interview with Gregory , I really enjoyed him in everything I've seen him in. I'm so glad I didn't miss this interview. I try to see the show every Sunday, it's like my church. It has helped so many unknown people and hope it will continue to keep going. @mauricebenard @mbstateofmind. Having a disease or disorder like what he plays on GH and lupus it is really hard on a person's mental state. Congrats Gregory on being in recovery for this long, it shows your strength, my hat is taken off to you. I have a few alcoholics in my family, I got away from cause they never wanted help and I couldn't live around that. Thanks Maurice for having him on state of mind.

Psilocybin for depression? I’m dying to know all about this! Please give me the best place to go for this, Gregory & Mo! He explained my depression like he was watching me the last few days. I’m ok once or twice a week. I was supposed to be somewhere yesterday & today but I was “on the couch staring at the wall” then in bed doing the same. It’s hard to watch tv because I can’t concentrate. Depression/bipolar is the worst! Can you lead me to the best place to go for this treatment? Anywhere in Cali works but I’d go to another state if needed. This is exactly how people become suicidal because it seems there’s no way out. I was in tears the way Gregory explained what the illness does & what the psilocybin does or can do. Thank you for being so open. Please help me with this? Love you both 💗

My dad was happy as can be. He said "by the time your 18 this thing will be over? A week after my birthday I got DRAFTED! The voices are becoming Louder to reinstate the draft..
I loved him on Trapper John but I have loved him like you on all the shows he has been on!!!

I hD cousins who went and fought in Vietnam and had religious convictions but went and served anyway. And yest they lived with a sense of guilt for the rest of their lives. The problem i had with what Gregory sad about picking which war you fight in is that it doesn't make a very cohesive military and therefor it degrade the military's effectiveness overall. That is why when you join you give up some of your rights because you can't have soldiers voting on every decision that is made ,decisions have to be made fast and executed fast as well because live many times depend on it. That mental sacrifice it the price of freedom sometimes. Btw ,loves Gregory in centennial and logans run. Glad he's on GH.

Wow! I remember Gregory from the tv show Logan's Run. Im a big fan of science fiction so i always loved that show, even though it was only short lived. I was sad to read that his co-star from the Logan's Run tv show (Heather Menzies) had passed away a few years back.

I don't comment on all the videos but I have felt like complimenting every one with the GH cast...it is so revealing...but I'd liked Gregory's acting over the years and it adds so much depth to that appreciation (as it has with you, Maurice) when I learn something about them as people. I know the ALS will be terminal but soap time is different than real time...I'll appreciate the character he plays while we have him! Thanks for all you do Maurice.

I loved him on Trapper John..No wonder ,Gregory does well with Nancy ..Her character ,plays an AA person& that's a great compliment to one another .Also his son,on the show,Finn,plays an AA person.. You all do well with these story lines..My mom was in AA 30 yrs& quit smoking 6 months after her quitting drinking ..Way to go ,Gregory .Maurice,I have watched u since you started on GH ..I love the 49 ers & Joe Montana .❤from Vancouver .

I've been watching general hospital for over 30+ n loved sonny ( maurice) im. So I'm. Glad he had this podcast to be able to keep following him I've read his story about bipolar I sympathize I have friends with that condition n is hard my mom was schizophrenic so I lived all my life atoms mental illness.
