  • Definition of marriage contract: how did we get to the point where marriage can be so misunderstood? Fr. Luther's first attack. Does God have a right to dictate the revealed law? Dogma of secularism. What is the proper rebuttal in defense of marriage?
    Note from the Preacher
In regards to the effects of the principle of private judgement, the preacher wishes especially to give credit to the thoughts of Thomas Nelson, found in the preface to Liberalism is a Sin by Fr. Felix Sarda y Salvany.

I spent 30 years trying to get away from that list... All I did was lead myself to gay, suicidal alcoholism. Thank God I didn't die and have at least today to make sure I'm prepared to see my King for eternity. I must now follow that list... As strictly as possible! Heaven is my only goal. And try to get others to get there, too.

I pray our Blessed Mother will cover you with her mantle and keep you close to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. This summation of part of what has gone wrong in our society with regard to Protestantism is exactly what I needed to share with my Protestant friend. You teach objective truth, which has been so blurred over the past 50 years with subjective feelings. Protestantism is all about self and feelings.
Thank you God for giving me the grace to come home to the RCC. I first innocently explored Protestantism on my journey home....one word for it: confusion - and we know who its author is. You are a dear priest who cares about his sheep. You and Fr. Ripperger have helped me grow in the faith, and I trust you both so much - thank you, and I will always keep you in my prayers! Through Mary to Jesus!

Thank you. You are doing this in the most loving and kind way to let everyone know what is happening and having the unfaithful fall at the feet of Jesus Christ's Mercy.

Although very concise, this is one of the best articulations of what has been transpiring religiously and in turn politically.

Let us remember what secularism is. Secularism is not just segregating religious life into the private sphere. It is rather the determination of the state of what religion is and is not, where and how it can be exercised. In terms of political theology, secularism is the murder of God by the State. The state can delimit, limit, exclude or curtail any religious practice, and thus has the power to determine the quality and quantity of the religious sphere as it sees fit. This is because the state is the ultimate sovereign, with its own reason for existence - what we call reason of state or raison d’etat, a relatively new concept in the long stretch of human history.

When the body parts seperate from the body as a whole, it dies. Isn't that what this priest is saying?

Luther unleashed the genie of secular liberalism and democracy. The unity of Christians were fractured and everyone became a priest, lost of hierarchy. The church was no longer the head, secular liberal democracy became the head. Secularism became the foundational ground from which theological discourse is generated. Law and morality were separated, secular liberal democratic government became the sovereign Lord and the law giver, ethics and morality were excommunicated and expelled into the domain of the private practice of the individual. Secular liberalism is essentially assimilationist in the public domain, it's not a neutral ground.

It seems we would have to have God denied to be taught again the price of such denial; Life. Could it be this lesson will be learned for good??

Did you ever stop and think that maybe all of what Fr. Wolfe is describing here is bringing us closer to the Second Coming? So if the world is going to H-E-double toothpicks, maybe it's setting the stage for Christ's return. After all, if the Almighty wanted to stop all of this, He--the Great Puppetmaster--could do so easily.

@A Miles you can only be baptized once. Make sure your first and only baptism was correctly performed. If you know for an absolute fact it was incorrectly performed you can get baptized correctly, this will be your one and only baptism. If you don’t know for sure you can get conditionally baptized

I hope by now your question has been answered, because we're well passed 33,000.
33,000 denominations = 33,000 (at least), different doctrines. All man made, all completely prideful. All full of protesting Christians who as Father quite rightly said only have in common: a bone-idle, benighted hatred of the Catholic Church.
Luther. Soul for soul, one of the deadliest men who ever walked the earth.
